Highly recommend this company. I was rear ended in my BMW and after researching several body shops on line I was not able to find a reputable shop that I felt comfortable doing my repairs. After reaching out to a salesman at BMW I was advised Burleigh's Auto Body does great work and mostly on high end vehicles. When I pulled in this shop their was a Porsche, Mercedes and also Maserati that were recently fixed. From the day I dropped off to the day I picked up the body shop communicated all details from repairs to the ins co's auth's of repair. I highly recommend this company. Really appreciate great customer service.

Great company, had some scratches and some dent repair. They scheduled me for the dent repair but took care of buffing or touching up all the scratches for free. A quick 20 min and they were done and couldn’t have been nicer. Will definitely go back here for any body shops needs in the future

I recently had a fender bender on my NEW Tesla Y and used Burleighs auto body all I have to say is some of the most professional HONEST people in the industry cannot thank them enough for the quality of their work but more importantly their genuine customer service. Who has ever heard of a body shop that works 8 to 5 Monday through Friday. When there's only one other body shop that Mercedes Benz of Midlothian deals witn I. Should just take it to maiko I'd probably get better service.

I had some rock damage on my Camaro I wanted to get sorted before I put PPF on it. I just picked it up today and the finished product is excellent. Can’t speak highly enough about the staff here. Our Tesla got damaged in a hit and run 4 hours from home. We were on our way to NC to watch our son play baseball. Car was drivable but charging portal damaged. When we called to make an appointment they were overbooked for months but still took the time to look at our car, within 20 minutes found a quick fix to be able for us to charge Tesla so we can continue on our journey, see our sons game, and get back home to have car repaired there. They did all this pro bono and with a smile. If I lived in Richmond this would be my only auto body shop Id ever patronize.

We do not recommend Burleigh’s Autobody on Northside Avenue in Richmond, VA. Our car was supposed to be “in the shop” for two weeks. Instead, we were without our vehicle for 99 days! They did not do a thorough inspection initially to determine what needed to be repaired or what parts were needed. This should have been done and all parts ordered. Instead, we waited 2 months for a single part. A part without which the car was not safe to drive so we could not even pick it up. They would not release the car. Next, the shop does NOT communicate with customers. Several times we called them and were not able to speak to the appropriate person, nor did they bother to return our calls. Communication was not accurate when it did occur. The single part we were waiting for was due in by a certain date. We called to check on it. It was in a day early but rather than having time set aside to repair our car, we were told it would take another week for the service tech to “get to it”. After that week went by, we called again expecting to pick up the car. No, when the tech went to reassemble the car, he realized he needed additional parts! They would be in in a day or two. Now, the car is reassembled but we can’t pick it up because it has to go to the dealership for calibration. First time this was even mentioned! Another day without our car. Next excuse, they planned to clean the car but the detailer went home early so it would be another day! The only reason we got the car was because one of us drove it off the lot while the other went in to pay the bill. After all of that, with us having an appointed time to pick up the car, they did not want to release it because they wanted more money from the insurance company! Our insurer is a very reputable company and besides, the car was no longer on their lot! Worst experience ever. Do not use this body shop.

Extremely disgusting customer service. I called a day prior letting them know i’d be coming in for an estimate, telling them i’d be driving over an hour and a half to get to them. They told me ok. When I got there, the man was extremely rude and stuck up. He gave ne a quick estimate, and when i told him if he could write it down on paper, he refused and told me it was a waste of time. I was honestly appalled by this behavior. I told them I was coming for an estimate, over an hour away, and when I got there, I was told it was a waste of time to get an estimate? I finally got the check from my insurance and called back up there again to see how long everything needed to get repaired, but was told they need to see the vehicle to see what was damaged, even THOUGH THEY SAW IT A WEEK PRIOR. Since the man refused to write me a estimate on paper, there was no paper trail of what I needed etc, meaning I had to make another 1 hour trek just to get back up there for a “new” estimate, than another 1 hour drive to get it finally repaired. It sucks these guys are one of the few tesla approved body shops. They could easily get away this their nasty customer service because their customers have no where else to go.

FAST body work on our Tesla. They worked with me on drop off and pick up. Rear bumper and sensor replacement from a parking lot bump - we live 2 1/2 hours away. They ordered the parts and called us once they all had parts on hand. When we picked up the car, it was fully charged, and the interior was cleaner, and fresher, than when I dropped it off. They vacuumed UNDER the aftermarket floor mats. Wow. I figured the exterior would get washed, but the interior detailing was a step above what I expected. Will use them again if needed.

I am shocked by these reviews. Our car has been at Burleighs for 2+ months. We have had to call everyday to make sure that work was being done. Wendy is very nice but ought to be replaced by an answering machine. She has been completely unable to offer any information regarding the progress of the car. They are completely unable to contact the insurance company without assistance, and when they did they sent the wrong supplement. This experience has certainly taken several years off of my life. If I could give less than one star I would.

Fantastic experience! Greg was very kind, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The repair was perfect, it’s like it never even happened! The work was completed faster than their estimate, and even though they had to give me a quote via email (I live 2.5 hours away) it was almost dead on with only a small change in price due to a part going up in cost from my quote months ago. They also fully charged my vehicle before giving it back to me which I did not expect. I’m thrilled with the experience and will recommend to everyone!

Burleighs is the best body shop in Richmond! I’ve taken several of my vehicles to them over the years for repairs and paint. Most recently, someone opened their door into mine, leaving a large dent and taking paint with it. Burleigh’s put together an estimate and got me on the schedule relatively quickly, plus they dealt with insurance from start to finish! If it takes a little while to get on their schedule, WAIT, it is worth having them do the repairs vs going elsewhere. The repair took a little longer than expected, but as always, it was worth the wait! My car looks brand new and the freshly painted door matches the rest of the vehicle perfectly.

After an accident damaged my 2 month old VW Atlas I was concerned about finding a shop that could perfectly match the paint. Burleigh’s exceeded my expectations. Despite a 1-2 month wait to schedule—an indicator of their high demand and trusted reputation—the results were worth it. The paint job, involving a complex three-stage process and blending on a replaced bumper and fender, is flawless. Owner Andrew addressed my concerns about matching plastic and metal surfaces, explaining the process in detail during a 45-minute phone call before I booked, which built my confidence in their expertise. As someone who notices even minor flaws, I was impressed by Burleigh’s attention to detail. They wet-sanded my vehicle, ensured zero imperfections (surpassing industry standards which allows up to four issues per panel), and prepared it perfectly for Paint Protection Film application. I had an excellent experience working with Sam and Burleigh's repairing a Model 3 Tesla that unluckily got hit by hail, then a tree branch, not to mention some road rash on the rims. These guys are Tesla experts and they do everything to spec. They are honest about the pricing as well as timing and realistic dates when they can get parts. Because I had to turn in this car at the end of the lease, and live far away, they went above and beyond and photographed it per Tesla's requirements and actually dropped it at the Tesla dealer for me. By far the best body shop I've ever experienced.

Outstanding service and communication. Immaculate repair on our Teslas x2. Reasonably fast repairs. Only concern is that it is extremely expensive to repair Teslas and some insurance plans do not cover what Burleigh’s charges. It’s the only Tesla certified shooting RVA, and they do excellent work, but the bill is going to sting.
