These service advisors and service center is a joke. I Went in to get my tires rotated on my Tacoma. It took almost 4 hours... They recommend $3k worth of service items. Which I kindly declined because they were not due at my particular mileage per the manual. I informed the advisor of what all I had done myself and what all I was planning on doing that same afternoon. I only wanted my tires rotated and somehow they took my engine air filter out of my truck and didn’t put it back in ???? Good thing I was planning on changing my power steering fluid that afternoon or else I wouldn’t have noticed my engine air filter box wasn’t closed and I would have made an out of state trip to the mountains with no air filter. Fortunately I only drove about 40 miles that day with no engine air filter……………That’s just unacceptable, if your techs aren’t competent enough to put an air filter back in a vehicle before they say it’s “finished”. They don’t need to be working on vehicles. It baffles me that they try to get you to spend $3k on “recommended” services, yet they take my engine air filter out which I asked them not mess with and then they can’t even put it back in !! My wife had to go by and pick up the same air filter that afternoon. They were somehow were able to find the exact filter that car out of my truck. I’ve left 2 voicemails for the service manager and haven’t received a call back. This is the second bad experience I’ve had with this service center. Which is why I’ve started doing 95% of my own maintenance work. I’ll never return to this service center for Maintenace work. Even a simple as a tire rotation. I will say, The guys in the parts department- John and Micah are very knowledgable about Toyota vehicles and engines and are always very helpful. But I don’t trust anything those service advisors say or recommend. Everyone needs to review their service manual before going in this service center, they will indeed recommend things you don’t need $$$$$$$$$$ . Heck you might need to check your oil dipsticks before you leave too !! Also the service advisor quoted me on a set of new lug nuts. He wanted $452. I walked to the parts counter before I left and I could buy the same ones for $252. They were rotating my tires while I was there, yet the service advisor was going to charge an additional $200 to bolt the new ones on. I understand you gotta make money but that’s kinda ridiculous, especially when you buy tires from them and supposedly get free tire rotations. I would really appreciate a call back from the manager of the service department. Hopefully this review will catch your attention since my voicemails obviously did not. Best regards, William M. Reid
