This is going to be a long one. Let me start off by saying that this is my own fault. I read all the horrible reviews and still got a vehicle from them. My wife and I went to get a vehicle from them in February. We found one with 80k miles looked to be in good shape, no rust and interior was perfect. Immediately when you put it in drive it would vibrate. They were so unbelievably pro active on fixing the issue to make the sale. Sent us to some dude who swore to us there was NOTHING wrong with the vehicle and we are good to go. We go in the car and it was even worse than it was when we dropped it off. 2 days later the the Transmission cooler lines blew and left us stranded in the middle of the road, I replaced those out of pocket. Then the brakes started locking up, death wobble on the steering wheel and loud clunking. Purchased 2 brand new Calipers and pads. Didn’t fix the issue. Get under the car and realize the subframe is wasted with rust and the Transfer case is leaking, so know I know why it’s doing the things it’s doing. Today I go out to start it and nothing. No electricity what so ever. Charged the battery, still nothing. Put a new battery, still nothing. We have had this car since February and it has been sitting in my driveway for 3 of those months. I have brought all of this to their attention. Sent them multiple emails with pictures, receipts, etc. never heard anything back. Today, they called to tell us an insurance payment was later. The call was from the same dude who swore he’d call me back over a month ago about the repairs. Unfortunately we are screwed so the wife and I made the decision to just have them come get it tomorrow and take the hit on her credit. $16k for a car that was never able to be driven. Their “Mechanic” was worthless and so has been every attempt at getting help. We asked if they could just put all of this months payments on the back of the loan, because I’ve already spent over $600 in repairs. They gave us the run around and we still had to pay the payments. People, please do yourselves a favor and stay extremely far from this place. If I could sue them, I would. Unfortunately they are protected by putting a 15 day dealer warranty on their trashmobiles.

I’ve been a long-time Byrider customer and this experience has been awful. After my first Byrider car was totaled, I came back because I’d always stayed paid up — often ahead of schedule. I worked with finance (Shawn) and my case contact (Anita). When I fell behind after not getting paid for weeks, I was still paid up through September 15 even though I haven’t had income since July. I called Anita — she stayed on the phone with me for 10 minutes, listened to everything going on, and told me “everything is going to be all right” and they’d work with me. The day before yesterday Shawn emailed me about my account, and I replied to Anita since she’s been my main contact. But today, when I called, finance answered, clearly knew my situation — even mentioned my workers’ comp — but still transferred me to Anita instead of just being honest. Anita then told me there’s nothing they can do: my car is going up for repo and they’ll “garnish wages.” I don’t have wages now and didn’t when I bought this car — something Byrider knew from the start. It feels like they’re trying to cover up their mistake in selling me the car in the first place with the income I had. I’ve only fallen behind once before and they worked with me — I caught up and even paid ahead. So I trusted them when Anita reassured me this time. But now it’s just empty promises and threats. This is awful treatment of a loyal customer who’s always paid reliably until a genuine hardship hit.

Did most of the process over the phone and was at the dealership for just over 2 hours (that was including test driving). Very happy with the efficiency!

I try to be advocates of you guys. I'm well over half into my loan. To get a phone call ignorant as I did this morning is silly. It just didn't go through for some reason. Probably you guys app. I understand the call. But to talk to me like I was trying to steal something isn't cool.

This place routinely unloads or uploads vehicles while blocking access to oncoming traffic! They're actually endangering people as they selfishly impede safe travels, how can I buy a car, when they clearly show no respect for safety!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE THEY SOLD ME A CAR AND 4 weeks in the car breaks down on the highway they took it to a mechanic shop and tried to fix it and said it was the spark plugs but it was really a faulty transmission and the owner BRANDON was trying to cover it up so he didn’t have to refund me my money for the car so I get the car back after they fixed the spark plugs and a day after I get it back I notice a syrup smell so I call them to tell them and they send me to another mechanic the 2nd mechanic said their was a huge radiator leak on the car and that the whole radiator needed to be replaced he also said the mechanic that fixed the spark plugs didn’t install them correctly and put the caps on them correctly so he said the car could have blown up on me and I could have died if it did. The mechanic also stated the transmission was a cvt and a bad transmission in the car he told me that car is not safe to drive because it’s going to overheat and blow the engine so he said I should try to get out of the contract with them. Brandon is a liar he tried covering up the issues so he didn’t have to refund me I threatened to sue him and contacted a lawyer on him and he finally refunded me $1200 down payment that I put down but now I am car less and wasted a month of car payments. They lie and they are a BIG SCAM! Do not waste you’re time here

PAY ATTENTION to the reviews everyone THEY ARE selling 🍋 LEMONS these guys sold my son a LEMON as well, and talked him into buying the warranty which he did and his engine had problems less than 3 months later. When he called them up about it, they started giving him the run around in hopes that he gets to his 150 thousand mileage mark on the warranty Who are the worst case the engine If the engine would’ve went out on him, then it would’ve tried to make it seem like he caused the damage. Anyhow, they finally agree to him taking it to their mechanics. The car sat there for over a week mind you he needs this car, right, they watched him for a month straight do everything they asked him to do of course because they gave him the runaround to get the car, but he did everything that they asked him to do to get this car for them to only play him this way. So they end up, not letting that mechanic fix his car because they said they want to find somewhere cheaper my son end up getting his car about a week or so later with my ride claiming that it is fixed and now he is hearing rattling in his car and he says it sounds even worse than before and now they are acting as if there’s nothing else that they can do mind you this car was never inspected as they stated to him in the beginning so if the car was not inspected, then how is it that they can put a price on a car and finance someone for it when they hadn’t done the proper inspection on the car from the beginning so how do they know the cars value? But I have also searched around on Facebook and there are many others complaining about this same situation happening to them so my son and I are looking into a lawyer particularly that practices in lemon laws especially since they sold the car three times more than what it was actually worth and we believe that they reset the codes to the car while also resetting the mileage as well.

Bad experience ,vehicle been having transmission issues. I have a 2016 ford explorer with 94000 miles when I got truck rode fine then problem started. It’s been a lot of back and forth with this vehicle so stressful. Kids and I been without a vehicle due to problems still stuck paying a lease crazy I don’t recommend business. If u can cash vehicle out do so to avoid car note on a non working vehicle. Company replace transmission all because I pay for warranty other then that’s will be screwed. Get vehicle back leaking transmission fluids everywhere smh. Which company ask to drive vehicle back to Bloomington which I stay in another city I’m stuck finding rides just been horrible experience wit company due to me and kids holidays being car less. The guy warranty Josh-is rude and don’t care. Other people work through company has been little helpful but not enough. Sad we don’t have good mechanics anymore who cares about people vehicles. That’s can do the job right
