Between April and May, I took my Toyota Corolla to C&C three separate times for the same issue. It began when my Service Engine Soon light came on. After scanning the vehicle myself, the code indicated a lean air condition, commonly caused by a mass air flow (MAF) sensor. I replaced the MAF, but the issue remained. I then brought the vehicle to C&C, where I was told the MAF I purchased was faulty and it was replaced. Less than 24 hours later, the light returned. I brought the car back and was told it was an O2 sensor. After that repair, the light came back on again within two days. On the third visit, I was told it was another sensor, which was replaced. I paid for every visit except the last one. I posted a review explaining that I had paid for three visits when the issue should have been diagnosed correctly the first time. After posting the review, I was contacted and offered a refund in exchange for removing it, which I agreed to(at this time I thought my vehicle was fixed). This review is simply to bring awareness than even after 3 visits the problem still wasn’t resolved by them. Shortly after getting the car back in May, I relocated out of state for work and parked the vehicle since it is not my primary car. When I drove it again in August, the Service Engine Soon light came back on with the exact same code. I took the car to a shop in my new state, where they immediately identified the issue and explained how simple and inexpensive the fix would be if I felt comfortable doing it myself. I made the repair, and more than 30 days later, the problem has not returned. What I ultimately paid C&C close to $1,000 for—which never resolved the issue—ended up being a $100 part and about 10 minutes of work elsewhere. My question is: why wasn’t this diagnosed correctly from the beginning after three visits? This experience cost me unnecessary time and money, and the issue ultimately had a straightforward solution that was never addressed by C&C.

I took my Ford F150 in for a diagnostic because no one else could seem to find the problem. C&C diagnosed the problem, gave me a very reasonable price to complete the repair and then because of their transparency and honesty, I went ahead and did multiple other services that were due because of their quality of work, no pressure complementary inspection and their pricing. They saved me over $1000 and it was all done with the upmost integrity and great workmanship.

Over the years I would go to them and ask for work to be done and they would tell me it was not needed at thetime, I thought I needed a brake job at 80000 miles on my truck but no, I made to 120000 miles before it was needed and then only the front. I generally do most of my own work on a now older model but there are things that dont make economic sense in terms of time to effort or requires specific tools or equipment and when they comes up I go to this C&C location. Always friendly, always helpful, always accommodating, I dont hold them to a strict schedule because things happen, a 2 hour job can turn into 12 with no one at fault or, as in my case this time, a part replaced was faulty but not overtly faulty and intermittent and could have been a separate issue. They tried several times and then warranty swapped out the part with no hassle and now seems great.

Hands down best repair shop in the area. Barry was so helpful and so friendly. I made an appt in the morning had my car there within 15 mins for them to diagnose. Not only did they diagnose my car that day but a repair he thought I wouldn't get my car back til the next day he worked his magic and I had my car by the end of there business day.
