I took my car to this auto body shop, and when I picked it up, it had a strong, unpleasant odor—like a wet car that hadn’t dried properly. I reached out to them, and they attempted to cover it up with a deodorizer, but the smell persisted. I decided to air it out myself and move on. However, I later found out they told my auto insurance that the car already smelled that way when I dropped it off, which was completely untrue. I would have completely understood if they would have been honest about the issues. I understand accidents happen. But the dishonesty was disappointing, and I wouldn’t trust them with my vehicle again.

Repaired my 4runner as an authorized facility for USAA when under the name Abra. Didn’t catch a damaged lift gate hinge which caused latching issues and paint damage. Never replace latch with correct torque screws. Bumper is now popping out on one side and has already chipped.

Stacy was a valuable resource. The bodywork is good. My criticism is about the declaration of deductibles due. Repairs were completed before I was clear on the expectation and cost of paying two separate deductible. Customer should be made aware of deductible due prior to any repairs being completed to insure that the customer is in agreement with the ACTUAL amount due from customer.

Very rarely do I give 5 star ratings. Individuals, such as Cameron in the South Tacoma Facility would certainly get 5 stars all day. Overall, Caliber Collision deserves at least 4 stars because of the people and techs presently working there. On Caliber's official survey, I did present them with 10 out of 10 ratings for the specific facilty in which my vehicle was being repaired. If asked why I did not rate this review at 5 stars, I had a previous experience with a different Caliber Collision 2 years ago which was not a positive experience. This review should reflect Caliber Collision as a whole. If this facility is a franchise, I would only go to the SouthTacoma facility. Small and personal.

The crew over here did a great job on my side mirror while saving me quite a bit of money. Daniel P. and Stacy adequately answered my questions and made sure I was kept abreast of the status of the repair throughout the time they had my vehicle. They even had it washed and detailed without my having asked them to do so. If, God forbid, I require the services of an auto body shop again in the future, I know where I'll be going.

I had a good experience with this shop, they answer their phones and call back on a timely manner, they are communicative and comforting, and they try to ensure the customer is All Set! My vehicle did end up staying longer than expected because my Insurance Claim Adjusters from Geico weren't easy to contact and so my work was delayed at the shop... This wasn't the shops fault, but it did mean I was without a vehicle for over a week. I did use my deductible, I don't recall how much the work cost outside of my insurance. My only negative note for Caliber Collision on S Wash, is that they don't have much room to park, so busy days leave you feeling a bit of an inconvenience when trying to pick up or drop off a vehicle.
