After 2 months I pick up my car. It was a cold and rainy day on a Saturday and the shop was about to close, Justin was very friendly and had the courtesy to send me a driver to bring me to the shop. I didn't verify the job at that moment because I trusted the professional image that the staff showed and also because I was told that I could bring the car back for a detailed car Wash. The next day I decided to take a detailed look and also check the battery, because It wasn't getting any charge, and I found several parts wiggle loose with out the clippers, the new mirror doesn't look original and it's loose, there are gaps between the doors and frames, some paint imperfections, and more... I brought the car back after contacting the general manager hoping that the issues will be corrected, but it seems that the staff doesn't have proper customer service training or maybe they think that customers are stupid and unable to distinguish a good quality finished job from a sloppy loose unfinished lack of professionalism work.

They took my initial negative review of their crappy work down after a month. I’m re-posting as a public service bulletin to avoid this place at all costs. Take your business elsewhere especially if your insurance company is listing this company as an “approved” option. The 1st 3 photos are of the crap they tried to sneak by me on a basic repair of my fender that was hit while parked by my neighbor backing up his truck. Caliber will purposefully cut corners to keep the repair margin in their favor and maximize their profit from the insurance quote and deductible. I had to bring my car back THREE separate times after repair “completion” by them. Their supervisors were specifically asked each time to look over my car before even bothering to call me to pickup the car because I wasn’t going to accept crappy work. My hood is still out of alignment with the fenders but I’m not going back to these incompetent people. Expecting people to give up on them must be in their business model because it sure looks like more reviews are moving that way. Odds are that some of the people giving good reviews aren’t aware of the corners Caliber has cut or just don’t care. Avoid this place and the franchise in general.

Updated review: I am glad to say that I was finally taken care of by caliber collision. I dealt with Justin this time and was totally impressed by his commitment to right this wrong. My truck looks great and am very grateful to Justin and his team. If any issues I would highly suggest dealing with Justin, he is beyond professional and goes the extra mile to communicate and keep you informed. Initial review: Lack of communication, wrong color interior panels, they had my truck for 3 months… enough said. Very unhappy.

I took my Toyota Highlander to Caliber Collision after my son had an accident, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From start to finish, the whole process was super smooth and stress-free. The team there really knows what they’re doing. rental car company picked me up right from the shop, and when my car was ready, they picked up car from there. On top of that, my car was finished 2 days earlier than expected! Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful, and I especially want to give a big shoutout to Robert Tran, the General Manager. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. It’s rare to find a place that’s so well-organized and focused on customer convenience. I have used Caliber on Hillcap Ave. several times. They are always courteous. They are extremely fast and typically finish my vehicle before the promised date. They clean the vehicle after work to a point where it looks like the interior was detailed. Their paint is frankly better than the factory. The interface with the insurance companies (I have used Geico one time, Allstate one time, and Progressive one time) was smooth and required no intervention on my part. They are simply the best I have encountered.

I picked Caliber because of the high 9K+ reviews but was disappointed thru out the process. First was the estimator telling me the black factory 2 tone color was a liner instead of actual paint. Any experienced person in this field should be able to visually see it is not a liner and most if not all OEM would not be using liner that only has short limited few yrs life. Then there is the GM role person (as I was told) who explained to me the work done but was wrong. He should not tell me what was done if unsure. Then there was the paint quality issue that nobody caught but was quite visually obvious. The painter and quality check person if one even exist should have caught it and fix it before telling the customer it is ready for pick up. At this time and again, they told me the liner needed to be replaced when it was obvious paint. So the car had to go back into the shop wasting my time showing up. Then there was communication issue. During the insurance repair period, I did get multiple status updates which was good but there was also update telling me to respond to authorize work to start when work already started. This is just confusion to the customer. When the car had to remain in the shop longer for the paint quality issue which they tell me again “liner” needs replacement, I should at the very minimum get an update on how long it would take especially when it will be painting and not liner. I called back 2 times asking to talk to someone on the status and were told, someone will call me back right away or like in 30 min. and nobody did. When I called the 3rd time and near the end of the day, I was told to come in to pick up car. Someone should have told me earlier to plan to come in. Finally, the car should be fully washed after body work when returning to the customers so it will look good and clean. The car was washed to some degrees but the wheels/rims were not and so dirty. Overall, it was a very bad experience from start to end. Maybe I am an unlucky few. I won’t say I will never bring my car here again in the future if needed insurance repair but will certainly give other places a priority before reconsidering Caliber again. Hopefully, I will not need to bring car back for any lifetime repair guarantee work.
