★☆☆☆☆ I wrecked my '22 Dodge Charger in February while driving up to Tulsa from Bedford, TX during the snow storms. This resulted in extensive body damage to the front and rear driver side of my car. The repairs and work performed by this location's staff was shoddy and incomplete at best which has resulted in a litany of issues with my car which started IMMEDIATELY upon getting my car back from them. Even as recently as three weeks ago - I'm still discovering issues with the lack of competency in the work they performed in repairing my car. Here's a list of just a few of the most grievous problems that have occurred as a result of the poor work performed by his shop: - When my car was dropped off at this location for inspection and repairs the "Service Advisor" assigned to my vehicle for repairs was either let go or left unexpectedly after making initial contact with me. After I didn't receive any updates or repair status for my car for several days - it took me having to call the shop before they advised that a new "Service Advisor" had been assigned to oversee the repairs for my car. - They completely overshot the original ETTR for completing the work to my car and it was up to the last day my insurance provider was covering my rental before my car was ready. - My car overheated IMMEDIATELY upon them returning it to me after they repaired it. Unfortunately for me, my car wasn't ready to be picked-up until about 5 minutes before they closed on a Friday evening. So, they were gone for the weekend by the time I returned. One of the tasks they "performed" according to the invoice they provided to me was a "Evacuate and recharge" of the cooling system. I discovered that they didn't put enough coolant back in the system. This caused the thermostat to seize in addition to the overheating of my engine. I left my car in their parking lot for the night and returned the next morning and fully charged the cooling system and replaced the thermostat in their parking lot - which resolved the issue. - The replacement headlight assembly they used to for the driver side was a used/salvaged part and didn't include the adjustment screw to adjust the headlight beam. So, I had to use a swivel socket to reach the adjustment bolt which is conveniently located directly behind the wheel well and at too steep of an angle and with no room for a wrench or regular socket be able to adjust the beam. - Three weeks ago, my driver side headlight went out. I assumed it had burned-out but discovered that the shop had incorrectly inserted the bulb into the plug which caused it to arc and short-out between the contacts. This completely melted the bulb into the plug and ruined the assembly. I'm fortunate enough to live a block away from the Caliber Collision location here in Bedford and after contacting them - they agreed to inspect the assembly and ultimately replaced it with a NEW assembly. They also re-inspected the passenger side assembly as it was listed as being "inspected" on the invoice provided to me at this location. Upon inspection it was discovered that that bulb had also been installed incorrectly in the plug which resulted in massive damage to that assembly as well. I'm so grateful that my local location's GM is a thorough and honest person who takes great pride in her shop's work. She not only honored the warranty from this location but she also covered the replacement of the passenger side headlight assembly as well. At this point in time - I cannot wait to discover what's next that this location failed to repair correctly which will need me to take time off from work to have repaired correctly elsewhere.
