I have been bringing both mine and my wife's car here for years. Always a pleasure and David Hug never tries to fix things that are not broken. David does thorough inspections every time and is happy to show you exactly what the problem is and takes the time to explain everything in plain English. I highly recommend Callagy Auto & Smog

Great shop, reasonable rates, the best for smog and all automotive needs. The two very experienced owners are the mechanics, so you get to talk to the person working on your car/truck. (Hate the shops w/ service managers, because you don't get to talk to the mechanic working on your vehicle.) I've been going to one of the owner/mechanics (John Callagy) for over 30 years because he always does thorough work, so I never have to worry about anything; i can just put gas in my truck and go! They work on everything from old hot rods, to 2019 vehicles.

The guys at Callagy Automotive are very professional, honest, and friendly. They do top-notch work for reasonable prices, and they are happy to answer questions, provide details about the work done, or warn you what might be needed in the future.I mean things like "Your brake pads are getting a little thin, but we'll just keep an eye on them at your next tuneup" and things like that. Dylan is my hero. About as good as they gets. I know many mechanics but Dylan seems to be top notch. Is patient, kind, and thorough.
