We highly recommend this fine establishment.. We're from out of town and needed a part replacement on our Buick on a Saturday and he dropped everything and fixed us right up as well as showing us the bad part and explaining what was wrong with it. His out the door cost was less then his phone quote and as we drive north we couldn't be more happy that we found this honest and competent shop.. Thanks again !!!

I was on my way to see my new girlfriend in Burlingame on a Saturday morning when my Mazda 3 started running rough. I did a Google search and saw Rakens shop was open. I called late morning with an electrical issue, and Rakan asked me to come in at 1pm. He was waiting with a friendly smile and starting working on my car immediately. In a little over an hour he fixed the problem. But he also went beyond just a mere fix...instead of ordering a part, he ingeniously took apart my old connector and it worked! Rakan was courteous, professional, and clearly explained what he had done. I will return to Dehmes Automotive for work on my car.

When I felt a slight slippage in between gears in my Honda, I reached out to Rakan right away. He respond within less than 24 hours with the quotes for my transmission fluid replacement and was super flexible with his schedule. He was very patient with me and also reassured me that my vehicle is safe to be driven prior to the transmission fluid replacement. I didn’t only chose Rakan because I love supporting local businesses. I chose Rakan’s business because he is an experienced mechanic. He was employed with Hyundai for years and also went to school for mechanical work. I’m picky to the extreme with who works on my car because I am a very paranoid person and want to make sure that the work is done right. Rakan is a very honest person. He doesn’t have a bone in him to upsell/screw you over, especially women who doesn’t know much about cars. You can trust Rakan.

I took my Toyota Corolla in for a brake check. My car has been making a unusual sound when I press on the brakes. The mechanic Rakan was able to fit me in with my hectic work schedule. He was honest with me. He let me know i needed to replace my brakes. He gave me a quote for new brakes and let me know how long the wait will be. He replaced my brakes, called me when my car was done and got me a itemized receipt. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car!

This place is off the beaten path and they have a very clean shop. My Kia had an overheating issue which they where able to diagnose quickly. Fantastic and quick service. I was in and out in less than an hour with assessment and problem fix. I only took off one star because it was very uncomfortable to hear Bill and someone - who I presume was his wife - yelling and cussing at each other from inside but we all have bad days. I still 100% recommend and will be coming back for future services. I also felt the pricing was incredibly reasonable. Thank you Dehmes!

If I could give a zero I would. Rakan doesn't stand behind his work or warranty. Customers beware! One man show workmanship and integrity very Low! Had my kids car for over 2 months and paid over $3500.00. The day we picked it up it stalled, engine noise, shaking horribly and he states he can't look at it for at least 2 weeks. Said take to another shop he'd cover it. Timing belt instslled wrong and valve adjustment needed $1248.00 after work completed he didnt pay! I did, now uve paid $7200. And vehicle still won't go over 60mph. More than a disappoint! To top it off he was very rude. Don't go there. I wanted to post an update as of today Rakan still hasn't refunded me for the warranty work I paid for because he installed a timing belt incorrectly. Also the vehicle doesn't drive over 60 mph after he replaced the engine, axle rakan replaced is leaking and now the camshaft seal is leaking! Consumer Beware An Unsafe vehicle with many issues is how he returned the vehicle to my kid!!! He won't even respond and takes NO RESPONSIBILITY! BREACHES CONTRACT, BREAKS BAR LAWS, DISRESPECTFUL DISMISSIVE,POOR WORKMANSHIP AND A LIAR
