You will always leave here feeling satisfied with a project being well done on your automobile. The owner Anita King and her staff are very friendly, helpful,& patient.Whether you need metal/ fiberglass body work, painting,or new light fixtures or any other hard to find aftermarket/ OEM auto parts this is the local place to go instead of a big chain repair shop or your car dealership.

Paid them $15,000 to fix my truck after 100s of excuses every week a new one I had to go get my truck. Just one judgment against her in court and she still can’t pay by beware

Extremely dissapointed! I had my car repaired here after an auto accident primarily because I had heard good things about the shop from a friend of a friend. However, after getting my car back I noticed the frame, headlight, and a couple of other things were noticeably off. After mentioning it to the manager/owner, she uncomfortably said she would get the technician that worked on my car so that we could talk about it. To my surprise, after explaining the noticiable disproportion the technician quickly grew defensive and angry. He yelled there is nothing wrong with it and that's the way it is. Poorly handled in my opinion. Even worse, the owner/manager just stood there and said or did nothing about it to appease my concerns whether I am truly right or wrong. After realizing I was wasting my breath and time I simply walked away knowing that my insurance wasted their money, and my car is not repaired to its full physical capacity. Oh, not to mention after leaving I notived the horn didn't work and a fuse was not properly fitted in the engine :(

I got a fair price and the car has been dependable. However, a $500 hold that I placed on the car, just to hold it until I could arrive in two days, was never returned to me. They kept "forgetting to mail the check", and promising that the check is in the mail, but never would follow through. Had to dispute the charge at my bank. Not trustworthy after all.

Do not trust this place. They had my 69 Pontiac Firebird to restore for 8 years . I got the car back in a worst condition that it was when I dropped off for them to restored. Stay away from this place

Anita was wonderful. Our Subaru was hit back and front. Anita was able to order Subaru parts and masterfully put the Subaru back together. She even had the cameras recalibrated. Many Thanks Anita

Went to cambird auto to have my truck bumper replaced and small section painted. I paid for parts then waited to hear back on scheduling a date for repairs. Almost two months later I call to follow up which took me several days to even get in contact with someone, voicemail was full so couldn't leave a message. Finally get my truck in for repairs and they tell me it's ready for pickup. When I show up to pickup my truck the paint was never done, fog light was all chewed up from someone prying on it and not reinstalled correctly. The bumper was not reinstalled right and parking sensor I paid for was apparently missing so they just reinstalled my old faulty one. Get in my truck and my dash is lit up like a Christmas tree because or sensor and not being recalibrated. Never take your vehicle here!! After explaining everything the the owner there was absolutely no urgency to make it right and just argued with me about the fog light like they would have never damaged it.

BEWARE! Not recommended if you cherish your car…. Ive waited quite some time to write this review due to how agrivated at the situation I am. Communication thru the process for me was acceptable unlike others situations that ive heard of from other customers. I brought my car to them for a fender repair expecting professionals to work on my car and received a complete disaster in return as time goes on more and more issues make themselves known all due to what I would call a very minor fender repair and paint blend job. I requested the fender be repaird “the old school way” meaning cut it out and reweld the metal back into original shape. When they welded my fender back they improperly grounded their welder causing it to backfeed thru the cars entire electric system first it was a fried battery ($500 optima battery) Then my ECU was unresponsive ($1500 replacement) following shortly after an unresponsive gauge cluster was discovered (400$ repair). They also disassembled my factory popup headlights to complete the work on the fender which now no longer work properly because of multiple broken brackets and stuff that is clearly just bent out of the way. The car is now undriveable at evening hours because of the broken headlights. several brackets bolts and trim peices are missing cracked and broken on the headlight assemblies. They also used my gas cap to paint match and it no longer fits correctly on the car which now appears to be a waste of time as a few months after the paint work was “completed” the work they did on the fender is now fading and cracking (also the old sticker adhesive is still visible under the paint due to poor prep work).. I brought the car back after 4 months of repairs at my mechanics shop to get it driveable again and she told me she would fix it but needed a few months to catch up on current work. called several times and showed up again in person and was unable to make contact. after not receiving a response more issues were discovered with the car and I no longer want them to touch the car what so ever. Highly recommend taking your prized possession to someone else an $800 repair has cost me almost $3500 so far and only seems to be going up… The cambird has definitely had a cam failure with this one…

I backed into a parked car at our club and my Porsche back bumped had paint and scratch damage but no dent or tear in the bumper. They looked at the damage and gave me a great price for sanding, filling and painting bumper. No light damage. Paint came out beautifully.

This past week I went to Cambird to have replica interior door panels color-match painted for my 1976 Cadillac Eldorado. Anita was super helpful and had the work done in 48 hours. The color match is so perfect that I was able to touch-up some other interior panels without full repainting. Cambird is an old school family business complete with an adorable little dog running around the office. If you are looking for a franchise paint shop or dealership experience, this is not the place. If you want true craftsmanship and people who actually know their stuff, this is the place to go. I was referred to the shop by another customer, and I couldn't be more delighted with the results.
