While visiting Ft Myers, FL my alternator died. It is an older car. Unfortunately at a time when I needed it the Battery also died. I replaced the battery but in the testing it was discovered that the alternator was failing and would not adequately charge the battery. After checking auto parts stores I discovered that the price was very high because of the age of the vehicle. It was a hard pill to $wallow then as ca$h was thin at the time. I remembered that the alternator could be rebuilt. That is how Google search led me to Havana Auto and Electric and Repair. I met Lou and dropped the car. The very next day it was ready and, for a price I felt was exceptionally favorable. Plus, being retired military, Lou gave me a 10% discount. Lou had also charged the battery. I am glad I found the business and Happy to give Lou and the team there a 5 STAR++ review and recommendation. I am fully satisfied I got an exceptionally fair deal, excellent workmanship and reliable results. Thank you .

Starter went out on my 44 trawler at South Seas on our way to Bahamas. I explained the urgency and sent pics. He responded to bring it in, no problem. They replaced one of four windings, solenoid and gear and i was good to go a couple hours later. Well worth the taxi ride. Thank you Havana!

I highly recommend Lou and his staff. I had purchased a remanufactured Bosch alternator off Amazon. Installed it in my daughters new Beetle which is a very difficult job to do. Still didn’t charge. Took my old one to them to confirm it wasn’t charging, it wasn’t. I had to remove the new one, SMH. Took it to Lou, it did charge but was designed to spin in the opposite direction due to the one way clutch, Lou caught this fact. They tested, diagnosed, and repaired my old one for less than 1/2 of the remanufactured one. I included pictures of the alternator installed, guess where it is. I highly recommend Lou and Havana Auto Electric Inc.
