Dropped truck off two days before appointment as I was going to be out of town the day of appointment! Aaron checked me in and advised me that they may be able to complete the recall later that day. Low & behold Aaron called me a few hours later that the truck was ready! Really was appreciative as I didn't have to leave my truck sitting at the dealership while I was out of town. Suzy and Jared went above and beyond for my family and our vehicle. Because of their incredible customer service, patience, and compassion, I was able to see my dying grandmother and say my goodbyes. We had taken our vehicle in on a Friday to be repaired so we could make the trip to the Westside to be with family. The repair didn't actually fix the problem we brought it in for and it was looking like we wouldn't get to say our goodbyes without having to spend even more money in addition to what we paid for the initial work. Suzy went above and beyond to help me so I could get to my grandma. Jared also took the time to look at our vehicle again and make sure the issue was actually fixed. If not for their service, kindness, and compassion for me and my situation, I wouldn't have made it in time. Thank you Camp Chevrolet and your service team.

The ONLY reason I would give the auto shop 2 stars is because their staff is mostly nice other than that - we no longer take our truck here anymore. we have been religiously taking our truck to get serviced and get oil changes at a timely manner here. It always takes over 2 hours even as a waiter(and I always end up leaving paying $200+ because they upcharge all these other things which I know is just part of the job but it’s pretty annoying), our new auto shop is in and out in less than an hour for full synthetic and tire rotation for less than $100. I told the guys here that the check engine light kept coming on and off - I have been telling them this for over 2 years. Most of the time they blew me off and said that since it wasn’t popping a current code and it’s not driving different they wouldn’t even try running a code. Then when they did, one tech told me they didn’t recommend I replace the camshaft sensor because it’s pretty fickle and then another one told me they absolutely do want me to have it replaced. I asked them to make an appt and they asked what days to which I gave them my availability but I guess the tech who normally replaces those was going on vacation that week so we agreed upon a date and time for when he returned and I never got a confirmation but had never had issues scheduling before. Called the day before and she stated she didn’t have me on the schedule and she talked with the tech that helped me and they stated that we never talked about scheduling and basically called me a liar. Mistakes happen - whatever, we get scheduled 2 weeks out from then and they were telling us there was extensive damage to the solenoid valves and all of this other stuff because we waited so long to get the issue resolved, mind you we had been telling them for YEARS that we were filling up the gas and changing oil frequently. Come to find out, that they did have secondary codes pop up on our check engine report - they just never bothered to dig into it. $2700 later here we are again, it never solved the issue, we called them and they couldn’t tell us if it was covered under warranty or not until we bring it in which is fine I guess but she also couldn’t tell us if they would charge us a diagnostic fee just for looking at it even though it’s popping the same code. Lots of wasted time and money every time we have to take off time to come here. Their sale team also sucks. We sold a vehicle to them and they told us that the check would be ready for us the next business day so we came back 2 days later and it wasn’t ready yet, then we called the next day ahead of time and they told us that the finance team wasn’t in that day and to come the next day, called the 5th day and they assured us it would be ready to pick up so we get there and they said it was ready but it was on finances desk which the office is now locked - mind you I told them I didn’t get off until 6pm in deer park and would have to drive to get it and they told me they would put it where someone could access it. They had to break into the office to retrieve it for me because they couldn’t find the key. They had my car for a week and it was hell trying to get paid for it. Would not recommend the sales team or the body shop to anyone.

What a worthless waste-of-time and money operation! When Camp does substandard work, they avoid trying to make it right, even when their failed repair does more damage. Aloof Manager Devin Meyer is great at avoiding responding to complaints until his superiors at parent company Lithia Motors catch wind of negative reviews. He and Camp Chevrolet care nothing for customers but prefer to sell overpriced hack services that will cost you additional time and money to get it right, which should have happened the first time.

This service department has saved my bottom twice in the past three years, keeping my awesome 2012 Silverado going strong. Their amazing ability to take my truck on, evaluate it quickly, identify the issues, and resolve the problem in an amazingly fast turnaround time is a testament to their commitment and professionalism. I could have priced it out for a couple bucks less, but the cost/benefit of getting the job done right and fair and fast, well Camp is the best ROI. And they got me a rental that kept my business moving while my truck was being fixed. Big shout out to Linda Kanally. She guided the ship. She pulled the levers to get my truck looked at before the appointment, kept me in constant communication about the cost, process, and timeline, and she was a genuine delight to work with! 5 stars.
