Geico sent me to Lithia as a preferred shop. First time around, they failed to install the “4RUNNER” logo to the lift gate and didn’t fix the seat release. A week later things really fell apart. They put a satin “4RUNNER” logo instead of chrome, the seat release was missing a part, and the backup camera didn’t work. Over the weekend I noticed they also broke the rear windshield wiper, cracked the rear spoiler that holds that wiper, didn’t install the lift gate handle flush to the sheet metal (1/2” gap), and scratched the window tint off the rear windshield. Oh, and when I pulled in to pick up my car, heard some guy SCREAMING at someone, dropping F-bombs. Realized a few minutes later that voice belonged to Phil, the manager, who wasn’t wearing a mask. He started yelling at me because he believed the satin 4RUNNER logo was correct and I was wrong when I said it had chrome before the accident. Poor service and completely incompetent body work. Taking it somewhere else to have a body shop that knows what they’re doing fix everything Lithia broke.

Recently had my wife’s car repaired after a run in with a deer, couldn’t be more let down, all the damage wasn’t even repaired and they acted as if they were doing us a favor with what they did do, they didn’t even get the bumper aligned, and the head lights were aiming off in space, they were excessively condescending to my wife when she went to pick the car up, we spacificly requested that they check for substructure damage, and when we asked why the bumper was so crooked, they replied, “we aren’t sure, there could possibly substructure damage” the best part was this was not 30 seconds after they said they assured us they checked the subframe, and everything “looked fine” The car is going back in later this week, for the tech to look at the car again, very very very frustrated with these guys. Will never be having the car repaired here again!

Got my car done the right way. Marge stayed in contact throughout the entire process. Progressive uses this location as a trusted repair shop. This means they can order the parts without all the red tape.

Do NOT take your car here! I went here after being rear ended by someone with Geico insurance and the agent preferred this shop. After I got my car back after a week and a half, not only did they not do a walk-around with me (the front counter girl gave me my keys and said “I wasn’t here when you dropped off, so don’t know about your damage or repairs”) but when I got home there was noticeable errors in the repairs. I took my car back to them and pointed out my concerns and was told “that’s how it’s supposed to be”. I then took it to American Way on Francis, who I’ve been to before and HIGHLY recommend, to get a professional second opinion and was told my car was not fixed correctly. They took 37 pictures of the errors and gave them to me to present to the insurance agent. It has been almost a month since the accident and I am at square one again. Geico has been incredibly unprofessional throughout this process and doesn’t seem to know what the next steps are; I can’t seem to get one single person to help me and when they do contact me they tell me they have to check with their supervisor and then it’s days until I hear back again, still without an answer to proceed further. Moral of the story: if you get hit with someone with Geico insurance, DO NOT go to Downtown Lithia Body & Paint.

Took my Jetta in for simple mirror repair and they totaled my transmission. Obviously someone didn’t know how to drive a clutch. At least they paid to have my car towed to my personal mechanic and they threw in the mirror replacement for free. But it really really stinks I have to buy a new transmission. I wont be doing business here ever again.

My experience was terrible! Lithia Body & Paint “repaired” my Ford F250 truck and left very noticeable damage on my vehicle. I went in the next day to talk to them about it, they said they would fix all of that but never called me back. Here are a few things I first noticed that was wrong with my vehicle when I left the body shop. The side mirror was the wrong part, paint overspray everywhere, the driver's side window had deep scratches, when I got on the highway and the speed reached 70 miles per hour there was a loud whistle in the cab that was louder than my sound system, all emblems that were put back on had paint scratched all around them, and there was even new damage to the passenger's side body that wasn't there before. Before I could take my truck back, it got hit again. I took my truck to a shop a friend recommended. When they went to inspect my vehicle, they saw that there was other damage from the previous accident that never got fixed and damages that were not on my list. Not only did Lithia Body & Paint not fix all the damage, they just covered it up and tried to hide it from me. I do not recommend Lithia Body & Paint as a body shop that has honor and integrity values. When I brought it to their attention they refused to take responsibility for it. Since this was a GEICO referral shop, I filed a claim under the GIECO warranty. GEICO fought me on this and underpaid the repairs. This has cost me a lot of money and time because of Lithia not wanting to take the responsibility. I will never take another vehicle to Lithia Body & Paint again. I have filed a law suit against them to get reimbursed. I am a combat veteran that fought overseas and lives by a code of conduct in my everyday lifestyle. The two main core values that I live by and teach my kids about are honor and integrity. It saddens me that not all individuals try to adhere to those values and this is the reason for my review of their poor conduct.

It took them 2 months to fix my car that they said would take 7 days, none of the repairs were done properly my trim wasn't fully attached and had some very large paint defects on all trim anas well as heavy speckles all across the hood of my Cadillac. After which they deleted the review so great.

Do not trust these people! You will only have disappointment and more issues than you began with. My car got hit while parked on the street. The lady who hit me left information thankfully and her insurance picked a shop close to my place (it wasn’t drivable for distance) and Google said it was a 4 star shop so I agreed. It was the rear driver side that was hit (almost $5,000 worth of damage to back panel, trunk, taillight and bumper). They quoted me a week & put me in a rental. It took over a week longer than quoted. They never called to update and their site was not specific nor helpful. I called on a Monday morning, they told me it was going into detail and it would be ready in the afternoon. 4:30 rolled around & called since it was supposed to be ready and I hadn’t heard anything. They told me it was moving into detail in the morning and it would be ready the next afternoon. I had moved my whole plans around picking up my car sometime that day and get the tons of things I had to do done so I explained that and asked her to confirm it would be done the next afternoon. She had no answers as to why they told me false information and was not direct in any answers to any of my questions. But, she said it would be ready the next day, and it was. When I got my car back, there was absolutely no detailing done, which I didn’t care about honestly except it was “in detail” for at least two days. Why couldn’t they tell me any other reasoning? My car was still wet (with spotty hard water) and nothing on the inside was touched (even with the additional covid cleaning they charged me for), except my leather steering wheel had been completely ruined. It looked like someone with a super blingy ring took it and scraped the entire top half, tearing all of the leather. I didn’t see it at first but felt it as I was heading home in the middle of downtown Spokane. So I called them and turned around. They had zero explanation, and told me they’d have to run it by someone to get it approved to order the “new steering wheel” and they would let me know. So I decided to just say okay and go on with my day. I had a close call on the interstate when I realized my blind spot monitors weren’t working at all. So I called them again, and they told me it “happens all the time because they’re soooo finicky and you can never tell if they’re damaged when they are” which is something I would have LOVED to have been warned about rather than relying on them and not having them with no warning. Especially since the paperwork said they worked on my blind spot monitors. They told me that the dealer would have to fix them, so they’d order the part along with the steering wheel they already ordered (of course, with no update to me) and it would be done all at once. Not to mention, my trunk isn’t even centered. So I drop off my car again. They tell me it will be ready the next day. Once again, it was four days late. My steering wheel was replaced but the rest of it was still dirty. No covid cleaning on the touches areas. There were no apologies, no answers when questions asked, no updates, no friendliness, and my car comes back with something wrong each time. I have my car back now, but somehow my tire pressure sensor is broken. I’m trying to talk to insurance because I absolutely refuse to leave my car with them and am telling everyone I know to avoid this place so they don’t have similar issues, frustrations and money loss. I’m horribly disappointed with the issues I’ve had, but even more disappointed with how they treat customers. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR VEHICLE.

Excellent Excellent Excellent - I am so happy with the Best service I have ever received in an Auto Body and Paint Shop. Alot of other places wouldn't help me with my vinyl roof (someone busted through the back vinyl window and ruined the whole top of my car). and I had no idea of what I was going to do. The staff at Lithia said Yes, they would help me. They gave me hope, they fixed my window temporarily until the vinyl roof was delivered and then they did a fantastic job with putting on the new top! I now know the best body shop with the best service in town! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

This shop dated me on getting my car on February 7th. They not only stopped giving me updates on my car on the 13th unless I called first, but also failed the mention they ordered the wrong parts. Said they would update me on a Friday, I had to call the following Tuesday to get any information. They went from painting stage to body stage, back to paint, and so forth. Was told it was in assembly mode for 4 days. They also ruined the tint on my front driver door when they were suppose to be fixing the hatchback. How does that even happen? They ended up having my car for 6 weeks instead. I do not recommend this shop. Unless you don't want updates and want your car back a month late, and with additional problems.

This was my first experience with them and they were very reassuring and understanding for my concerns. My vehicle was damaged due to a parking lot hit & run, it may have appeared superficial but with today's vehicle technology there could have been unseen issues. Some other shop experiences that I've had in the past had staff that came off as condescending, this experience was the total opposite. Hopefully I will be able to return to have other non-insurance related issues fixed.

One of their staff stole a nautical star necklace (with the cremated remains of my dog inside) from my rear view mirror, leaving his ID tag that was attached to said necklace on the front seat. I will never use nor recommend them again and I wish him ulcerative colitis. Not to mention my car is still throwing codes after costing over $11k and has new chips in the paint. Currently reporting to my insurance the theft and new damage to my car Update I have had my car back for a few months now and they are still making claims on my insurance and getting paid for things that have not been done, nor will they be done by them.

Second vehicle my wife and I have had here. They are a little bit faster than most collision places. And far better than Gerber collision, don't ever go there!!! Wifes car was in there last and only took a week to get repaired. My only complaint would be that they don't communicate the progress of your repairs, I had to always inquire. This could be bad for you if you're out of pocket on rentals.

I was assigned to this body shop for a minor collision with a geico customer. The entire staff was helpful and friendly. My repairs were all done in two weeks which was about 4 days longer than the original estimate due to the paint blending not looking perfect so the shop ordered paint and did the job correctly. Because they had my car a few extra days they did some menial testing and bled my brakes and refilled the fluid at no extra cost. My car was also detailed, washed and waxed before it was returned to me. I couldn’t have had a better experience.

Zero stars. Was basic work that took forever. The real problem was they left my truck open and unlocked so it was filthy in there and all the compartments had been gone through. The bed has a locked cover. That was left unlocked as well as my generator was gone and no forced entry. They said they wouldn’t have gone in the back but I pointed out there was a part back there they forgot to install so they were definitely back there. It’s also pretty obvious they left my hood open for an extended period of days or during a storm. Overall my rig was in better shape when I dropped it off compared to picking it up.

The repair itself was decent, but not worth the experience. The communication is awful and they took one month for a simple rear end repair even though I waited nearly two months for a scheduled appointment. The lady who answers the phone doesn’t know any helpful information and always says that the person who does know isn’t around for one reason or another. When asked for an estimated completion time she rudely said “I can’t make paint dry any faster.” I will never come back here and tell my friends to avoid it as well.

This location on Montgomery is the "go to spot" for geico. They did the damage estimate and would also do the repairs. I have a couple complaints about them. The #1 reason is that they scuffed and side wiped my car with another and I have a small paint roll and scuff marks on my door from it. This is the same side of the car that was t-boned. I was informed that they took before pictures when the car arrived. However, when I took my car back from them I noticed this new damage, and I called right away, took pictures and emailed. No response back!! I emailed 5 times and called just as much...nothing.How professional to hit my car and just dismiss the situation!

I was rear-ended and Lithia was the garage selected by the other guy's insurance to fix my car's bumper, trunk, and paint job. I had never been here before but had a great experience. They were professional, friendly and timely. It only took one week for my car to be finished. I received text updates throughout the week. They even took care of checking out my rental car to make the whole process smooth. My car is very happy and it looks great. Would definitely do business with them again.

Some of the best service and work I’ve ever experienced at a repair & body shop. I’ve brought a few of my cars here to be serviced and the customer service is outstanding. The receptionist Cassidee is always cheerful and helpful every time I visit. Lee is one of the best and most knowledgeable mechanics I’ve ever met. They are very honest here with extremely competitive rates and have never tried updating me on services that really weren’t needed or required at the time of my visit. Adrian does an outstanding job detailing and my vehicles look and smell brand new every time. Alex is a great guy and is also very helpful. They make a good team and I highly recommend this location for all mechanical and bodywork needs. 10 out of 10. I wouldn’t think about taking my vehicles anywhere else. Thank you guys!

I got into a minor accident recently in my Outback. I had damage to the front bumper and driver’s side headlight. Kris and the team were fantastic at getting my car quoted to my insurance and then fixing it before I needed to move. It looks brand new now, and I couldn’t be happier!! Definitely recommend as the customer service is great.
