As a woman, it’s often easy to feel taken advantage of at a car place, but Capitol Auto is the complete opposite. I only trust my car to them. William, the owner, goes above and beyond to make sure I understand what’s going on with my car. He takes pictures of the issues, thoroughly explains the problem, and then walks me through the repair process. I’ve had every service they offer, and each time my expectations are exceeded. Most recently, William did an autobody repair to my brand new car, and it’s back to looking brand new. I highly recommend taking your car here – you won’t be disappointed! Fair prices as well. 👍

I recently moved back to the area and was looking to get my headlights replaced, so I decided to call Capital Auto Service. Not only were they able to fit me in right before they closed, but they also offered to change my oil while my car was in, and had phenomenal customer service. I showed up at the shop very close to closing time and was immediately helped. I needed two used tires and requested that they tried to match the tread left on the tires I planned on keeping. They had exactly what I needed at a way lower price than I was expecting! They were able to install my tires and have me back on the road in only a half hour... On top of their speedy service the staff was extremely friendly and entertaining. I would 100% recommend this shop!!!

I do not recommend this mechanic shop because I had a bad experience with my car. The repair I gave to my car was that the four-by-four box had a warranty and the man did not install the box, it was only painted and two days later the car had the same problem again. I went to another Mexican shop and they said that they had not installed anything, that it was only painted and the oil levels were low and today the car had other problems. I do not recommend it.

To whom it may concern. Last year, I brought my car in for specific issues and authorized over $1000 in repairs. The shop supposedly replaced the gasket (valve cover leak), the timing chain, and the tire sensors. I entrusted my vehicle and hard-earned money to this establishment, expecting professional and honest service. Months later, the initial problems resurfaced: the oil leak returned, an engine rattle reappeared, and the tire pressure warning light came back on. Concerned, I recently took my car to an independent second shop for an evaluation. I intentionally withheld all information about the previous repairs performed at Capital Auto to get an unbiased assessment. The list of necessary repairs I received from the second shop was alarming; it indicated that every single issue Capital Auto was paid to fix was not done. (The shop recommended gasket replacement, tire sensors, and a new timing chain.) It is a shame that one must worry about being deceived when seeking professional help. The evidence strongly suggests that Capital Auto either did not perform the agreed-upon work or performed it so negligently that it failed almost immediately. Life is hard, money is tight, and being defrauded of over a thousand dollars for services never rendered is unacceptable. I feel it is my duty to share my experience with others and warn potential customers about the integrity of this business.

Capitol Auto Service was extremely honest and professional. I brought in my Ram 3500 thinking I needed repairs, and instead of trying to charge me for something, they let me know my truck was still under dealership warranty and recommended I take it there instead. That kind of integrity is hard to find. They could have easily done the work and billed me, but they chose to look out for me instead. I truly appreciate their honesty and will definitely be coming back for future service. Highly recommend!
