I followed Abed from another facility when he opened this, his own shop. He gives you honest diagnosis, fair and accurate estimates, high standards, and excellent repairs. Besides being such a competent mechanic, he is also a really nice person, which makes bringing the car in a much better experience than many other places. We woke up to a dead car battery and also had a chronically leaking tire. We live across the street from Capitol Autocare. Mo and Abed lent me their battery jumper, took our car in immediately, and returned the car with a replacement battery (alternator was tested and okay) and a repaired tire (they found a nail) same day. They work quickly, are great communicators, and all without any nonsense. Great neighborhood car service!

I went to the Capitol Autocare since they were highly recommended for fast, reliable services. I needed to get my car battery changed ASAP. Moe and his team worked and finished my service in about 30 min though he estimated it to be completed around an hour since they had other services already in queue. For an unexpected event, the pricing for the new battery and labor was reasonable. I would come back to this place for future car services.

FIVE STARS ALL AROUND!! I stopped here on a Saturday morning before starting my drive back from DC to NYC because I had some metal thingy banging around underneath the back of my car. I selected it because it was the closest AAA-rated garage - I was SO GLAD I did. I regret not getting the name of the mechanic he helped me even though he gave me their card! He listened patiently to my frantic description of my problem, helped me quickly, and solved my issue and charged an *extremely* fair price. Car problems stress me out and I could not have been happier or more comfortable with my experience at Capitol Autocare Services!!

Excellent experience, high quality work, reliable advice and you can trust them! TRUST is key when getting cars repaired, and that is something these guys have! I have gone in with a 20 year old car that they easily could been upsold, done “extra” work. However, I was always given honest examinations of my vehicle, and I was given realistic explanations of what needs doing vs could be done, vs probably doesn’t need doing. Once they do the job, it stays done - I don’t have to keep going back for things that were missed or done badly. Honest hard working family operation! I have been looking for someone like this for years since I moved here and am thrilled to find them! I will be forever customers of theirs!
