This place is the real deal!! Fast and efficient and reasonable priced, took good care of me & made me feel welcomed. Bought a new Jeep Gladiator. I know a lot about car audio and purchased the best for my ride. I entrusted Car Tunes with the install. Sound deadened the entire vehicle from the firewall to the rear, removing all seats, panelling, carpet, and center console. Installed a Stinger Heigh10 head unit. RF 500.1bd to two JL 10w2’s running at 1ohm. This is the only shop I will trust with my installs. They are professional and do great work. Since moving to the Brandon area in 2004, they are the only place I will bring my vehicles. Also did a great job on my window tint. Next they will be doing my mids n highs.

I highly recommend this stereo shop! Jason and his great staff always go above and beyond to ensure their customers are 100% satisfied! I brought in my new Ram pickup to have the tint on the front windows match with the factory tint on the rear windows. I chose the tint percentage but when it was done I felt it was too light. Jason reapplied the tint with no questions asked and ensured I was completely satisfied. Car Tunes has been a staple in Brandon for over 14 years and has always given me outstanding honest service. It doesn't matter if I was getting tint, stereo work or an alarm. Always Outstanding!!!

I am disappointed in the work and have to give this shop a 1 star. - Installer left a 8mm socket behind my quarter panel during install (see photo) - Installer broke 3 clips. - Between the 8mm socket and the 3 clips there was horrible rattle-ing - Installer installed my subwoofer box upside down, even though Jeep Pro specifically designed this box for my Bronco and has had numerous installs done correctly. (Owner disputes this) - Installer said he "installed stinger wiring" and charged me for it. - Installer used electrical tape and twisted wires (see photo) - Installer used too short of wiring (see photo) - Installer did not use wire tie straps to secure wiring and allowed to rub behind panels. - I had to rewire to extend the wiring and attached cable ties (see photo. For reference, I am an automobile tech by trade. I took to an audio installer because I believe they should be best equipped for such a job. I was assured that they could do the work, but I should have been cautious because he was already making excuses during the quote. I would never take my car to these guys again nor would I suggest anyone else. The way they install wiring is a definite cause for concern and could lead to an automobile fire.

Both employees exhibited a childlike behavior despite their elder age. Miscommunication of pricing or services and consistent attitude of a teenager on both "owners" from the moment I met the female who i dont care to remember the name of she consistently treated me with no respect and the patience of a worm from slamming pens down to walking away to refusing to speak to me. This led to them refusing services and terminating my interlock forcing me to go to another location midday with threat of a lockout of my car. I've never in my life been spoken to off the bat with such disrespect and so many assumptions of who I am when they didnt even remember my car. Not sure if they were assuming I was a different customer but treating any customer or person in general the way I was treated is a one way ticket to hell. Being screamed at in front of other customers and being cursed at as well and pretty sure if the woman thought she could she would have 100 percent hit me. If they were BBB credited I would report them but they arent even that SMH

Super knowledgeable staff. I had a really bad alternator while and Car Tunes was able to sort it out very quickly. They also pointed out and corrected some sound-related issues that could be adjusted on the head unit. I've also taken them a vehicle that had a problem with a trunk all-in-one subwoofer. They were able to get it sorted out just as quickly. Very professional, very quick, and really know their stuff! I've found my new 'go-to' shop for all thing car-audio related!
