My truck broke down in Virginia during Thanksgiving and I live in New York. Carters Corner was able to fit me into their schedule, get my truck fixed and back on the road to New York within a couple of days. Nicole was amazing and assisted me every step of the way. On the way back to New York I drove over 300 miles and my car never rode smoother. If you are looking for a great place to get work done to your car or truck with honest and fair prices 10/10 would recommend!

In the end I was hurt. I couldn't make contact with the owner. The car was still giving me problems. They didn't seem to have enough time in a day to do anything further with my car. It ended up costing me much more in repairs for what they did not do. Communication became an issue. I felt pushed aside. I was on a time constraint. I was leaving the state. I was barely able to leave the state. It costed me even more money elsewhere to fix the car I felt avoided. The owner would not return my calls. That's not good business. You and I both know the car would not have gotten in in in a timely fashion. The oil cooler would never had been leaking if you had put the new one on from the old engine. I just wanted my car done right the first time. I took spent a lot of money at your shop.The problem was not having the owner not return my calls my messages to the shop. You say he could not be found??? I had a lot of new parts from the old engine not put on engine you put in which end up costing me later.

I've had them work on my 1999 ram 2500 for a year now. They have done everything from HVAC or heating and air, replace my dash, battery cables, and brakes. They will do what you ask and build trust with the customer. I highly recommend them. I am a professional mechanic, and I send my vechicles to them to get the job done right the first time at fair rates.

I’ve been here about 4x and each time I’ve received the best service. From the owner, to Anita and Nicole at the front. The mechanics are trustworthy and don’t try to rip you off. I came in with over a $600 quote from the dealership (Nissan of Hampton) which wasn’t even the issue with my vehicle. Carters corner found the real issue and quoted me $100 to fix the problem. 100% trustworthy and don’t try to sell you something you don’t need. I 10/10 recommend here anytime someone needs a mechanic!! Great, honest and friendly environment.

Highly recommend. I personally have never been there, but my wife takes our car there and we have always had great service. I took my car to the dealership and they gave me a crazy $600 quote to do a bunch of work that didn't need to be done, carters corner did it for $235 and that included an oil change that wasn't included at the dealership. The dealership (which I absolutely can not stand) gives me free inspections and oil changes, I would rather pay carters corner to do them than let the dealership do it. This will always be my go to garage and I will recommend it to anyone who needs a mechanic

Dude, my expectation were blown out of the water. I’ve owned my truck for just over a year now. I’ve had to get MONTHLY alignments and I had no idea why. I decided to bring my truck here and within the first few hours, they told me exactly why. They don’t charge an arm and a leg. What would’ve cost me well over $4k anywhere else, cost me $2k here. And man. My truck has NEVER driven as smooth as it does now. Very fine work guys! Thank you so much! And a special thanks to the owner for giving me a ride home when I dropped off my truck. Anita was WONDERFUL ! Customer Service is PERFECT ! I passed all places for my inspection due to how nasty the person behind the counter . Very reasonable prices and quick and efficient. They definitely live by their moto “We tell you the truth, Like it or Not” . I would highly recommend to bring you car if anything is wrong with it .

My son sent me to Carters Corner because I was having issues with my brakes while he was out of state and couldn’t fix them. He said they were trustworthy and great people. (High praise coming from him! And he’s right.) They checked everything out, showed me exactly what was damaged, explained why, and fixed everything for me. I highly recommend Carters Corner in Hpt. Va. on the corner of East Pembroke & Seaboard Ave. I might sound like a commercial, but, they got me safely back on the road & didn’t brake the bank to do it!! Stress free!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Carters Corner!!!

Don't do it if you value your time and money. I've come here for almost 14 years. Something changed in 2022. Not sure what it was . Its disappointing because I've referred so many people here over the years and they use to be so good. This was my spot. Quick turn arounds... Never had to hunt down information on my vehicle.. .... And quick advice. Once a shop says " whoever worked on your car last".... that can only mean they messed up and are blaming it on the previous. Funny thing is the item in question has never been touched. Anyhoooooo. Thats my review guys. Hopefully we can get back to the glory days

I made a few calls last week just trying to find a convenient place to get my car inspected. I’m so glad I came across Carter’s Corner. And it’s right down the street. I didn’t get any pictures because I was engulfed in conversation instead. I was lucky enough to meet an owner and another patron. Such lovely people. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the lady at the desk. She was nice. Funny too. The office is neat and has chairs to sit and wait, drinks and candy. Way better than most shops I’ve been to. I’m so happy I ventured here. It is local and the staff is wonderful. I definitely found a place where I will take my car for repairs, upkeep etc. Highly recommend!!
