My first impression of this place was that they have their stuff together this was confirmed by talking with the owner (in person) about purchasing and replacing an engine in a late model F-150 Harley Davidson edition. He took the time to source the engine for me along with providing a cost to install it which I thought was a very fair price but when I tried to move forward with the job I couldn't even get him or any of his staff to call me back. Freeman and Freeman very well could be the best out there but unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to find out.

I was recommended to get my car towed for repair. It was not starting. The first diagnosis was starter. It changed to a faulty wire in computer that needed to be replaced. Picked up car and I got home, next day it would not start again. They towed it 3 days later. All of this time, no communication with the mechanic Tim. I was told I needed a battery ($221.60). So they had the car 8 more days and no communication. I went to see about it and mechanic was not in. The last time I was at the shop, he was not there. Now I get a call from my friend who referred me. I kept her in the link since she recommended him. She told me that HE TOLD HER that he couldn’t do anything with computer😳 to take it to the dealership. Really??? He said he had to “redline computer ($383).This is from someone not even at the shop! How unprofessional is that? I quickly got it towed from that shop! I will never recommend this black owned business!!!! Very very Poor communication! I try hard to support our blacks, but many times it ends up like this! I appreciate the referral, but I know I was scammed out of $605 for reclined computer and a new battery when there was no issue with battery. That was the first thing I checked with AAA. I feel this was a rip off. He really didn’t know how to fix it. Take head if you don’t want any communication from those who service your car, if you do, this is not the business to support! I am upset about it because they had my car for 20 days and no calls from mechanic/owner none!!!! A waste of time and money!!!! One upset customer! I thank God for Brake King! They said they can’t fix that, but recommended me to another business that specializes in diagnostics. That’s what he should have done. Having my vehicle for 20 days and $605 later and I still need work. It’s okay, we reap what we sow. Businesses be careful how you treat your customers.

The owner lacks integrity. He says “first come first serve” for an auto shop as if it were a tire shop. When the actual truth is he’s either very late or nowhere to be found. He’ll tell you to come in the morning and won’t be there until late in the afternoon. No apologies, just excuses. He literally wasted my day. I was in the heat the entire time because the shop’s AC didn’t work. He never offered me a water. I had to ask for it and the workers had to get permission to give it, on this 90 degree day. The same cosmetic damage I arrived with, I left with. $150 down the drain and in this economy. I could’ve threw some screws up there myself. It just would’ve been too much like right to admit that I needed a new bumper cover. I was Scammed. The only positives was his workers. Rob is kind, helpful, Knowledgeable and professional. TJ was patient and did the best he could with the task he was given. I will never come here again nor will I advise anyone else to. Go to a Real professional.
