I’m starting to think this place was trying to scam me. I had a tire with a nail in the tread that I took to the shop at 9am on a Sunday morning. The lady working said that it would be around $50 to patch the tire and would take a couple of hours before they could get to it and they would give me a call when it was ready. I waited all day and never heard anything so I finally called them around 3:30 in the afternoon and someone answered and said the tire could not be patched because the nail was too close to the side wall, but it wasn’t, it was clearly in the tread. They said I would need a new tire and I said OK how much to replace that tire? The lady quoted me $170 to which I said OK let’s do it even though the tire had less than 4000 miles on it I never heard anything back from them at all so I finally called them on a Tuesday afternoon and they were like oh yeah the tire is ready. You can come get it. I went to pick up the tire and they had ordered the wrong replacement. This turned into a huge hassle because I needed them to remove the incorrect tire and we were back to square one. At this point, I just asked if I could have my old tire back, get a refund and go somewhere else. They took the incorrect tire off of the rim, gave me the rim and my old tire with the nail still in it separately. I took it up the road to another tire shop and they were able to patch the tire, said it wasn’t close to the sidewall at all and it was.35$. Oh, when I went on Tuesday, the lady working said she didn’t understand why the person ordered the wrong tire in the first place, but they would not be able to give me a refund and That I would need to contact the corporate office to get my money back that I paid for them installing the wrong tire lol. Never again!

This was the first time I did not have to wait 4-hours to have a tire fixed or replace tires. My past experiences had been terrible. I understand at this location, (Buckroe), new management has been inserted, great job! because it shows. One hour, two new rear tires, complete job. I was happy. I hope this location will offer state inspections soon. Please keep up the great work.

Had some work done at this location for a blown valve cover gasket not long ago. Just found out that the leak was never fixed, and my oil drain plug was stripped. Edit: I just got the car back from Phoebus Auto Care Center. They completely cleaned the engine to find the oil leak. It was from the valve cover. They told me the 15 bolts on the valve cover were over-torqued (I have a few of the bolts and one was broken), causing stress and a new leak. It costs quite a bit to undo what this place has done. This is completely unacceptable.

These guys are amazing and super helpful. We were in distress last evening, stranded on the highway with a flat tyre and a small child and dog in the car. After receiving help from the cops who got the tow truck to us faster than our insurance did, we called tire choice and within minutes they helped arrange everything for us on the phone. They went out of their way to get the tyre from their other store and stayed open late to fix it for us. Thanks to them we were able to get back home last night. Thank you again!

Awesome tire shop. Word of the wise make arrangements to drop your car off instead of waiting for them to do any work. Takes forever as with any other place nowadays. One guy said he was waiting four hours for them to fix a leaky tire. But that aside I'd go there again

Very nice people working there. I even tipped the mechanic $20 for the job he did. Although, I was the first customer there, I still had to wait for over three hours and the tire balance light was still left on over my dashboard ...the car drove better, but when I got on the highway, it started shaking. The tire warning light never turned off.

First let me say I didn't read past reviews before choosing Tire Choice Auto Service. Two months ago I had a strange problem when I was adding air to a tire after the weather temperature changed. Instead of adding air the pump malfunctioned and almost completely deflated my tire. Rather than risk another filling station pump I googled for a tire shop just in case I needed additional assistance. Tire Choice on E. Pembroke was top of the list. I limped in and went to the counter to explain my issue. The manager I believe Jackie had me pull up to the bay and she checked and inflated the tire double checked the valve stem said it must have been a faulty air pump. And no charge for the "rescue" service. Two weeks ago I was hearing noise from the front end, everyone including google had an opinion of what it might be. Well I knew I wanted a tire rotation to get better wear on the tires. So I made an appointment with Tire Choice for a Saturday morning. I pulled in a few minutes early turned over my keys and was told likely 90 minutes. 4 wheel balance, rotation, test drive to see if they could isolate the noise I was hearing. I walked down the street to the Buckroe Coffee Co. "see my review" after a relaxing 90 minutes my car was ready. No sound was heard by the technicians. Isn't that always the way? And for a super reasonable price I was on my way. And... I don't hear the noise! As I said at the beginning I didn't read the past reviews and if I had, I would've probably gone somewhere else. But not everyone gets to have the same experience every day and situation is different. Things happen and I find that if you try most businesses will do the best they can to satisfy their customers. After calling several others (Wynn Ford, Pep Boys, Jiffy Lube and Meineke) I called Tread Quarters and received an answer on 1st ring, Carlos answered. I was trying to get a quick oil because my time was very limited and all the others were 2hrs or more. Carlos explained if I could get in quickly he’d have my tire rotation and oil change done within 30-40 minutes. Got there he processed me all while I was participating in a conference call. He was patient and quick (most people would’ve gotten annoyed with me). However, not Carlos he saw my need for the services in a short time all while trying to multitask. Service was completed in under 30 minutes and VERY AFFORDABLE, leaving me with a little extra time to write this review! Thanks Carlos for your patience, excellent customer service, and the fast service!

Honestly probably the most proffessional experience I’ve had at a car repair shop. Jinan was extremely helpful over the phone. He got all the info they would need for when I get there, making the service even faster. They even went out and looked at the tires to see if replacing all of them was worth it. After that, Ayden and Jinan walked me through the different brands and options. Rob was able to add additional input as well. All in all, I couldn’t reccomend this place anymore. Kinda sucks that you can’t rate higher than 5 stars. Message to owner / general manager: Please give these 3 guys a raise. This level of service should boast a reward.

Had a flat 6:30am in route to Richmond needed a patch or plug wasn’t familiar with the area at all. Stopped at tire choice was greeted by a phenomenal employee by the name of Terrance. He was a huge help got me in and out quick with premium service. Would highly recommend stopping in to see these guys if you’re having any tire issues.

Extremely positive experience at this location. My entire day was thrown off course when my kids and I attempted to hit the road only to discover that one of my tires was so flat that it was on the rim. I inflated it with the help of a neighbor and drove directly to the nearest tire shop, which happened to be this location. Jackie (I didn’t catch her name in the store , but i think this is her name based on other reviews) and Joe were able to get me in the loading bay immediately and start getting to the cause of my issue. I was prepared to buy a brand new tire but Joe was able to just patch it instead and save me a ton of money. Jackie quoted me on a new full set of tires and when the time comes I will 100% be giving this location my business for that big purchase. This shop will be my new go-to for any tire related needs and I highly recommend them if you’re in the need.

I came to the shop (Pembroke and Old Buckroe in Hampton) on a whim riding on a doughnut in search of a new tire. After being offered a few choices, the one I wanted was not in stock however they placed an order and it arrived the very next day (competitive pricing on name brand tires by the way!). I came back and the tire was put on in a very timely manner. The store was very clean and waiting area was comfortable. I’m huge on good customer service and when it comes to Tire Choice Auto, they definitely delivered! They were not pushy and I wasn’t hit with a bunch of add-ons. I’d like to highlight three of their employees - Elijah, Jesse, and Terrence who were nothing short of professional and courteous. Although I was not there to have any work/repairs done, they were very knowledgeable about a few general questions I had regarding my vehicle. I definitely appreciated that. By the time my visit was concluding, I felt like family. Bravo! Five stars!
