On May 17, 2019 I went to get a oil pressure sensor done and my throttle body clean the guy Steve told me over the phone the price was going to be $80 then switch it to $140 less than 24hrs I got into my vehicle and my car was in the same shape I left it with. I contact Steve to tell my concerns he then became very combative with me with the use of profanity and threatening me. “I later travel to advance auto parts to revisit the employee Kevin that refer me to him but he was off Steve then call me and with the use of profanity( Aggressive Tone) “I’ll give you your money back. I said to myself that’s odd something seem fishy about the problem. I went to a mechanic and they witness the work never got replaced that still the original sensor. I said this to say especially for the women please stay with your vehicle don’t let a mechanic say you can come back to pick up the car because mechanics will rip you off. With that being said I came to pick up my vehicle back up. Steve wasn’t at the shop he left my car with other staff that didn’t speak any English. I ask Steve for a receipt over the phone. He said I can meet you next week. Steve showed a bad look for the company I have took this matter to the authorities and they investigating the problem. II have even went to put a spy cam in my car that way I will know if things are handle correctly for myself and my safety. I encourage everyone to do the same because companies will rip you off take pictures before and after. I hope that a member of management look into this issue and take this matter very seriously thank you for your time and effort on this review.

I was heading up north from Sarasota. I’m route my truck was misfiring and driving unsafe on the interstate. I then pull over, luckily right next to Castillo auto repair. I spoke with Goerge and explained to him what was happening. Within 3 minutes he diagnosed the problem and Installed a new coil. All for an amazing price ! In and out just like that. Awesome friendly service!

Best mechanic I have ever found, they have worked on my car twice and are really affordable and quality work. They will go out of their way for your, I had my car break down on a Friday recently, wanted to bring it to somewhere else because they let me know they were too busy to help me out on Saturday. I brought my car to another place which claimed they would be open but no one was there, when I showed up there was no one there. I called Castelli since they had helped me before, the owner showed up when they weren't open so I had somewhere to drop off my car and actually drove me home afterwards so I didn't have to walk in the heat. They have been very open about what my car need and what it will cost. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else at this point. I don't write a lot of reviews, but I couldn't be happier with Castillo's and felt they deserved at least a good review. They might be busy and not able to work on your car immediately, but only because the value of their work is hard to beat, and anyone that goes here for service is unlikely to look anywhere else afterwards.

I was not a customer at their Castillo's, but I got into a car accident about a block from their shop, and was able to limp my car over to Castillo's until I could figure out how to get my car repaired. With insurance it took a while to figure out that my car actually had to be towed to an autobody shop. Despite not being an actual customer, Jorge provided individualized care during a difficult time, allowed me to park my vehicle at his garage free of charge, and texted me throughout the day to ensure we could get things worked out. Would recommend just based on their humanity in a time of crisis.

I was in a predicament due to breakdown on Interstate. Remembered this shop being near my new apartment so took a blind chance and had my truck towed there. OMG, I'm so glad I did because it was the best auto repair experience ever. The owner went way out of his way to accommodate me and was more than fair on the charges. On top of that he was super nice to deal with. I cannot say enough good about the entire experience. Now I know why every time I've ever driven by they are always busy.

I had to change my brakes and replace my right rear hub. After shopping around for mechanics and reading the reviews, I found Castillos Tampa Bay Auto Repair. It seemed to be too good to be true from what I was reading in the reviews but I gave it a shot. Sal is the guy who gave me the estimate and who was in contact with me. He told me that only my front brakes had to be replaced because the back brake was practically new. Meanwhile, another mechanic told me that I had to replace both. I am so happy that I found such an honest and reliable auto repair shop. The guys working here are hard workers and deserve to be recognized which is why I am writing this review. If you are looking for an auto repair shop in Tampa I would highly recommend Castillos Auto Repair.

These people are top notch! Great prices, they are honest, great customer service, and there service is quick which is a bonus. I have never written a review for a car shop but this needed to be said. This is the second time that I have had them working on my Camaro. This shop is the only shop that will be touching my car. They have a customer for life.

Great auto repair shop. Well qualified mechanics, . I was in the market for a good, affordable, solid vehicle to purchase and I was referred to Castillo. I purchased a Nissan Maxima months ago, right before Christmas and they did everything to make sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase and I'm very happy with the auto work they did and the car I purchased. If you need auto repairs or a vehicle that is sound and reliable at an affordable price, check these guys out. Jorge and Robert were great to work with and I will continue to recommend them in the future.

After my neighbor, Diane, recommended George at Castillo's Tampa Bay Auto Repair (1111 E Cass St, Tampa), I've had 2 occasions to call on them for some minor bodywork (parking lot hit & runs) & today, added in a full synthetic oil change. George is, hands down, the nicest, most authentic & knowledgeable mechanic I've ever had work on my cars. He's inspired me enough with his full-service know-how that he's become my go-to mechanic. I'ma going to stop saying any more good things about George bc otherwise, I won't be able to get an appointment 😏.
