Vartan is amazing and one of the best mechanics I've met. He's old school but keeps up with technology. Recently he had to bypass the built-in computer security system that locked the engine out. He's taken pretty good care of my new cars that just passed their 3 year warranty. Twice he has taken cars and raise them from the dead that no one else was able to do. He's nothing short of a miracle worker. I referred a close friend and he did amazing work for them as well. Vartan is a Master Mechanic. Reasonable prices. He's very tough mentally and you can hear the toughness in his voice but he is very honest and honorable in his work and probably outside too. :) He will take care of you. Note: Little known fact. I took a 6 month course in Automative Repair in the late 80's at the local community college. I find a lot of things fascinating. ----- Old Review Below ------ Vartan is a great mechanic and has reasonable rates. Highly recommended. I took the car to several shops. One wanted $500, others wanted to replace this and that. Vartan fixed the problem for $40 and said no parts needed to be replaced after careful diagnosis. Great honest person. He was recommended to me by a trusted person. I think some of the mechanics here are independent so you have to ask for them by name. I will take my business to Vartan from now on.

Chuck service's all my fleet vehicles. He's kept us on the road for the past 5 years. I apologize if he's ever slipped me in while working on your vehicle, but when I break down I'm out of business, so Chuck is a vital member of our company. What Chuck says it costs is what it costs and he stands behind his work.

Took the car in for stalling and loss of power. They promised free diagnostic. They replaced 2 sensors and solved the problems. But they also installed a $200 battery I didn't ask for. When I refused to pay for it they took it out and charged me $95 for the diagnostic. Not cool.

I brought my van in for an AC diagnostic only. When I called back to check he had repaired the issue for almost $300, without any kind of communication or estimate. This left me in a very bad spot financially. I felt I was very clear when I brought the van in that I had very little money to work with. Be aware, in Arizona there is no legislation over the auto repair industry. If they choose to repair something and you cannot pay, they can legally seize and sell your vehicle. I had to bring the van to a second shop the next day because the AC stopped working, and the mechanic there pointed out a simple cracked valve that should have been caught. I bumped my review up to 3 stars because when I brought the van back to CB, they repaired the issue and recharged the freon free of charge. They may have competent mechanics and I appreciate the follow up service, but I would take business to a shop that provides written estimates and has better client communication.

Highly recommend these guys for any kind of auto repair. I was lucky enough to come across this shop after the place I had been using gave me a very high quote on replacing my rotors and brake pads. Saved a bunch of money by going here and received a more professional service from these guys all the way around. Work was done right and done in the exact time they said it would be. They didn't try up selling me with a bunch of stuff I didn't need either which was nice. Will definitely be using them again for any work in the future I may need done. Thanks again fellas!

They damaged my truck and wouldn't fix it. They said my truck is fixed and ready. I paid and was leaving but had no power steering. It was blowing out power steering fluid in their parking lot. Without looking at it Chuck said I'd have to pay for a new steering box. I took it to another shop who found the problem and fixed it. CB Auto improperly installed the steering column coupler which damaged the upper seal in the steering box. I called Chuck and he said I voided the warrantee by going to another shop, he said he never told me the things he told me, and he said never call him again and hung up. I was going to sue him but it would cost $240 to file at justice court and I'd have to take off work to file and appear in court. Wasn't worth it.

Took a Toyota Tacoma there to have an Alternator replaced. They wanted $640.00 total . I said what ??? I told them no ill come and get my truck don't do it . They charged me a $65.00 diagnostic fee wouldn't even charge my battery . So I toed the truck home . Replaced Alternator already in 1.5 hours done deal . Simple job. Not nice at all because I wouldn't pay the outrageous price gouge . NOT FRIENDLY , POOR SERVICE , & GRUMPY OLD MEN RUNNING THAT TACO STAND !

My car started to break down on the way home from work and I had to bring it to the nearest dealer, which was CB. When I walked in, they were on their lunch break and were also clearly busy with a lot of cars lined up. Nevertheless, they took a look at my car quicker than I expected and found out it was an issue that was under warranty. They gave me a detailed rundown, complete with comprehensive paperwork to take to the dealer. No charge, just great service with total integrity. I felt extremely fortunate that my car happened to break down so close to such a quality, reputable repair shop.

I'm just a parts runner , but one huge bonus to me about this place , They had an old javelin up on a lift and working magic on it , Right there says they have knowledge and skills on the rare old stuff and in the rest of the bays were new American and Foreign stuff . Right there they have the skills for all types of autos , anybody can just replace parts ,but to diagnose and repair vintage stuff, that parts haven't been made in 30 plus years to diagnose vehicles that just rolled off the dealer lot , and to have a staff to do that amazing ! I love this place everyone super friendly and I've heard them on the phone to go out a their way to help people , if your ride has issues , look into these guys , they will not disappoint

My Miata was taken here to have a rear main seal replaced. It took over 3 times and much of lost time for me to get it back with STILL an oil leak! The third time I’ve taken my car in, I got it back with not just an oil leak, but some time of glue residue all over my window and the seals which have all ripped. I’ve taken it to AAA and I’ve been showed how bad it really is and how careless this company is about their work.

The guys here are super nice and communicative with you. I had a moped that wasn't running and ended up parking it in one of their spots out front overnight. I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with it, so they let me keep it there a few days until I was able to sell it, and brought it inside at night so it was safe. One of the mechanics offered to buy it themselves if I couldn't sell it. All that, and it didn't even cost me a dime. The least I could do was share my story and gratitude. I hope my 5 star rating helps, too. Thanks, guys!

Made my vehicle worse. Had to take vehicle in and trade in for a new vehicle after they got done.Told them what the problem was and tried to fix everything but the problem.made promises to tow vehicle to dealership for me then changed mind when it was inconvenient.. Low character no integrity .Two words for ya... NO GOOD!
