First things first is the customer service and professional demeanor is exceptional. No wonder they are at the top of the list for transmissions. After they serviced my truck and added a missing part, my truck runs and shifts very well. On the second day, I tested the transmission out by carrying a 2000lb load for 3 hours back to KC. They told me to wait for heavier hauling loads with the trailer. I haven't tested the 4x4 high and low out yet. I kinda figured it will work in high performance too. If not, I have a warranty that lasts for a whole year. For those who want to know the turnaround time, it was one week. The pricing was descent. Simply put, they did good.

While no one wants to need a new transmission, Certified Transmission made the experience as painless as possible. Sean the manager was great to work with. He communicated their findings and our options clearly, was patient as we decided what to do, offered financing solutions and was all around very polite. Sean and Brian were exceptionally helpful! We traveled from Pennsylvania to Missouri and had transmission problems. They took us in immediately at 8:00 a.m. and diagnosed that we needed a new transmission. They recommended a campground nearby for us to stay in while the transmission was built and shipped. Just picked my truck up today, and so far so good! Trucks running great! The remanufactured transmission that was put it seems to be great! They worked with me and got the price down to where I needed to be! They were super nice and had good communication on what’s going on. Would definitely recommend this place! But will do another review in a few months to how the transmission is doing! Their tow service was nice and convenient and didn’t cost and arm and leg!

The transmission in my daughter's car failed. I called around and found Justin. He was extremely professional and friendly. He gave me an estimate over the phone, and it was a good number. He provided towing and kept me advised through our the entire repair process. When the repairs were completed, he called me and my daughter. He took payment over the phone... Only because I live in the st Louis area, and released the vehicle back to my daughter. They made this whole experience very easy. I'd give more stars... Extremely impressed and thankful. My vehicle’s transmission was sputtering and acting up. Three years ago I previously had some work done on my transmission by a in town local mechanic shop and was told that their “fixes” done to my transmission may or may not resolve my transmission’s shifting issues. The shop’s technician told me to drive my vehicle and “see” if the “fixes” would work. My vehicle drove and sputtered less. Due to that fact I sparely drove my vehicle and left it parked. Fast forward to the day after Christmas 2025. I drove my vehicle after leaving it parked for about two weeks. I reside in Raytown and drove my vehicle to Lees Summit to purchase a Bunt cake for my wifey. While the leaving the shop I heard a thud and my vehicle lost power and struggled to move forward. The smell of burning transmission fluid filled the air and my engine reveled high while my vehicle barely moved. I managed to limbed my vehicle back to my home and parked it in my driveway. I made peace with the fact that my tranny was dead and that the decision to either purchase a rebuilt tranny or a new vehicle had needed to be made… Crap!!! Don’t have the money to take on a car note…Soooo… A rebuilt tranny it’ll be…After a brief google search, I called certified transmission, advised the Tec about my vehicle’s tranny issues and later towed my vehicle to their shop for diagnostic. In my mind I was fully prepared for the Tec to say, Your Tranny is kaputt and a rebuild is need. Much to my surprise the Tec reported that several tranny code had shown, my vehicle struggled to moved forward and backwards, and my tranny was extremely low on fluid. The Tec advised that they were going to fill my tranny up with fluid (4quarts) retest and see if the shown codes would correct themselves. The following day the Tec called and reported all shown codes had disappeared and that my vehicle drove forward, backwards, and shifted correctly. WOW!!! Low fluid caused all of that (never thought to check tranny fluid level because I believed and trusted previous mech). The Tec could have gotten me for a rebuilt tranny and I would not have been the wiser. There are honest shops in existence!!! They got a customer for life!!!
