Update review that deserves another one star. This place was supposed to have repaired my windshield washer spray nozzles, apparently this was done and they worked fine afterwards. However today, 19 days after getting my car back I tried to use the windshield washer and it was not working. I took my car back to Christian Brothers and they determined that now the pump for the fluid is not working. And when asked if they could provide proof that it did work when they fixed the nozzles they were unable to provide any proof of that, I asked for video or written proof and they HAD NO PROOF. They then said they could fix it for me for $400 something dollars which is ridiculous. They will never get my business again and they should not get yours either. READ THE BAD REVIEWS AND DO NOT GO HERE - Marisa W. You deserved another one star review

Brought vehicle to Christian Brothers for my transmission slipping and brake job. Melissa was the associate I dealt with and Tony was the mechanic I had the pleasure of meeting as well. They quoted me a fair price for parts and labor and did not take long with diagnosing and repairs. Happy to have found a very reliable shop in Corpus Christi, TX

Thank you Efrain for your professionalism and taking the time to explain the details about my repairs needed. I have the confidence that the job was done correctly. It is difficult to find an auto repair shop you can trust. I recommend the team at Christian Brothers.

0/10 DONT EVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE! I got into a car accident a few months ago, took my vehicle to Southside Paint & Body and they used Christian Brothers to do my alignment. My alignment got thrown off TWICE so i had the certified technicians at chevrolet (i drive a 2025 chevy tahoe) look at my alignment & they said it was completely messed up! A bolt in the back was almost completely off. A plate in the front thats supposed to be flush was out of place. The technician came and asked me where i got it done & i told him. he said its a good thing i got it fixed today before something worse happened. Now i have to pay out of pocket for something that should've been fixed & they got paid through insurance. These people were not willing to help when i called them a few days ago to see if they can warrant their work. Angry is an understatement.

I had a fantastic experience at Christian Brothers auto. My car was having issues with the check engine light. Mr Noe diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly, and fixed it efficiently. The final cost was exactly what he quoted me, and didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need. The office was clean and professional. This is my new go-to spot for all my car's needs. Thank you Mr Neo and Christian brothers for all your help. ☺️

The staff looked out for my best interest. They were genuine, friendly and patient in explaining the issue with my car. The warranty on their work was better than the dealership and was cheaper than 2 other mechanics I got quotes from. They also sent me a hand written thank you card with a free oil change coupon afterwards! They helped lighten the load of a stressful situation

I purchased a used Ford Explorer the week before. However, diagnostics showed many problems. I had an $500 ASC warranty, so I decided to go to an (ASE certified) repair shop and ask, what is possible to get repaired for this money. Christian Brothers asked to see the car, I handed it over. Next day, I got a long list of repairs, obviously nothing in this $500 range. As I knew I had misfire on cylinder 2 and 6 (V6 engine), I asked what about to repair only this ? It was only parts $1,600 for ignition coils (meanwhile I checked with O'Reilly, the OEM Ford Motorcraft Ignition coil is $102.50 each x6). The price was obviously for all 6. I asked what about to get repaired only the 2, I believe the price they gave me was $760 incl. labor. So no repair possible within the $500 dollar warranty range. As I made very clear, I don't want any out of pocket pay, I declined any repair. NOW, they wanted to have paid the diagnostic fee of $159, that was not agreed to pay, nor they told me the fee itself nor I signed anything. I called police, they told me, I need to pay - what I did. I am very upset - so this review!

Had an excellent experience with Christian Brothers Automotive. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with kindness and professionalism. They took the time to explain what was wrong with my car in a way that was easy to understand, gave me pictures of what was going on with my car, and never made me feel pressured. The work on my car was done quickly. I truly appreciate their honesty, attention to detail, and great service. It’s rare to find an auto shop you can completely trust, but I feel confident bringing my car here in the future. Highly recommend 👌

Not a member of the Better Business Bureau and there is a reason why! Go there to look for a better mechanic I wasn’t going to leave a review because frankly I couldn’t be bothered to waste any more time thinking about this place but my most recent car issue that was a direct result of their incompetence has prompted me otherwise. Here are 4 reasons why I will never bring my vehicles here and why you shouldn’t either, or at the very least you should question everything. Which is unfortunate because you should be able to trust that you are getting good work done (which does not happen here, please read all the bad reviews and listen to them) 1. we brought our mini van here for alternator issues and because we have insurance this was one of the approved places. When given a quote for the repairs we questioned why the bill was so high when we had insurance to cover the issues. We were told it’s because the insurance was only covering a portion of the cost and we had to foot the rest. Well we called the insurance ourselves and told them what was going on and they said that we should not have to pay that much and that they approved everything. We then went over the estimate with the insurance company and found out that Christian Brothers had given the insurance a much lower estimate than they gave us and were trying to charge us for that difference. When we confronted Christian Brothers about the discrepancy in prices they told us that it was a mistake on their end and the lady who had done the estimate had not dealt with insurances before. Basically their mistake would have cost us an extra thousand dollars had we not questioned them and talked to the insurance ourselves 2. When going over the final price for the repairs they assured us that the price included everything and would not change anymore. When we went to pick up the car they tried to say that the price was an additional hundred dollars more because of diagnostic fees. Well we argued that with them and they eventually dropped the price back down to what was originally quoted. 3. They approved repairs without calling and discussing it with us even though I explicitly asked to be informed of any repairs before they completed them. 4. They completed repairs August 18th and today (September 8th) I took my car to Jiffy Lube on Saratoga and Weber (HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE) for an oil change, while there they informed me that my coolant was low and topped it off. I left there and drove to HEB where I noticed that my car was leaking orange fluid. Immediately called Jiffy Lube and they came out to HEB and inspected my car for me and informed me that the hose for the coolant was not properly attached and had come off resulting in the coolant spilling out. They then reattached the hose correctly and refilled my coolant in the HEB parking lot for free. They reviewed the footage in their garage showing they had not touched the hose and were not responsible for the leak. With that information I went back to Christian Brothers to bring the issue to their attention and the manager admitted that their technicians did not replace the hose correctly resulting in the coolant leak (which could have been disastrous had it not happened when it did because we are road-tripping with the car tomorrow) For this very stressful situation that was a direct result of their incompetence they gave me a coupon for a free oil change with them, which is worthless to me because I will never go there again. Proceed with caution when bringing your car here for any reason, question everything, record every persons name you talked to and take detailed photos or videos of your car before and after they work on it.

I was going to leave a horrible review, but that would require even more of my time that I didn't want to waste on this issue. We took our car in as we always have for the last 6 years, and each time has been one random thing after another. When I spoke to the manager today, it was supposed to be a simple explanation, but instead, I got the typical run around. Every time I've been there, I don't get that warm and fuzzy other people that left reviews here have received. (By the way, the Manager and other employees are leaving 5-star reviews. Shady business practices.) I understand as a business, sometimes you fail, but you've failed me for the last time. I will definitely not be back.

I have taken both of my cars here for years, until today, February 4th, 2026. The estimates for repairs where anything but Christian. I think it is all in the name. After a 170.00 diagnostic of which I had already addressed one potential issue (the dual cooling fan)...the cost estimate for repairs including the cooling fan were over $2000.00. I called up O'Reilly Auto Parts and asked what the price would be for the part: 184.00 for the cooling fan. So why almost 900.00 worth of labor for a total of 1100.00 for that particular fix? After conferencing with another friend who works within the industry it was immediately decided that I should not move forward with the repairs and take the vehicle elsewhere. During the call, Melissa (service advisor) acted like a used car salesman (woman) and kept giving reasons as to why I should still have the repairs made there. The fact she said that Toyota and Hyundai are reliable in the same sentence confirmed my decision to not continue doing business with 'Christian Brothers Automotive'. Please do your due diligence before getting work done here. I'm disappointed as I walked away after years of religious loyalty.

I took my wife’s 1997 Toyota Crown here for routine maintenance and they gave great service and I didn’t have to wait too long. The prices were great and they even have coffee and homemade cookies while you sit and wait. Highly recommend.

I brought my 2009 Toyota Camry to Christian Brothers Automotive to address an issue with the radiator fans not working. We shared up front that this was the most likely problem, but were told a diagnostic was necessary because we trusted the process. What followed felt less like stewardship and more like highway robbery. My mom received a call outlining a laundry list of “issues” along with an estimate so high it could’ve funded a small missions trip. After doing our own research on the parts and labor, we realized the numbers simply did not align with reality or reason. We decided to pick up the car without any work being done and came in to explain our disappointment. This is a place we have gone to for years since living here, believing that the name stood for integrity, fairness, and treating people especially families with care. Unfortunately, loyalty here seems to carry no value, and grace was nowhere to be found. For a business that bears the name Christian Brothers, today’s experience felt profoundly un-Christian. There was no transparency, no compassion, and certainly no sense of “love thy neighbor.” Just inflated pricing and a shrug when we expressed how hurt we were. Faith should not just be a logo, and values are not marketing. If you’re going to put “Christian” on the sign, it should show up in how you treat people especially long-time customers and integrity shouldn’t be optional it should be the foundation. We came in expecting honest service and left with a hard lesson instead. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Took my fiancé Miata for an issue with the coolant leak and the front staff were so friendly and the waiting area is so clean! They offered me a beverage and made sure they knew I was a valued customer! The repairs were a fair price and repairs were done very quickly! I will definitely be back and have found a new home for all my auto repairs!!

Five stars for the team at Christian Brothers! A very stressful car situation was made so much easier. They walked me through the entire repair process and made sure I understood the ‘why’ behind the work. I never felt rushed or left in the dark. The fair pricing and excellent warranty options are just the icing on the cake. I’ll definitely be bringing my vehicle back here for future service!

I’m extremely disappointed with Christian Brothers Automotive - Corpus Christi. This used to be our go-to shop, but their practices have become dishonest and focused more on commission than on doing what’s right for the customer. Their parts are marked up at least 30% higher than dealer prices, and they turn around and buy cheaper parts from the internet to cushion their own pockets. That’s misleading and unethical. Melissa, the service advisor, told me the parts for my vehicle were not in stock anywhere in town. I called Lithia Dodge myself, and surprise — they had the parts in stock. One of the parts was quoted to me at $900, while Dodge had the exact same part listed for $254. After I confronted her about the price difference, she admitted that it is normal practice for their shop to mark up parts. I still ended up paying $450 for that same part through them — far more than what the dealer was charging. This location has gone from trustworthy to dishonest and money-hungry. Customers deserve transparency and fair pricing, not inflated quotes and false information. I will not be returning and strongly recommend others get a second opinion before agreeing to repairs here.
