Don’t go here!! They have very deceitful practices and will take your money for nothing. My son wanted to take his vehicle after they informed him the switch for the back light had to be ordered and they couldn’t diagnose the main problem until it arrived. He did not want to leave his vehicle for who knows how long. So they said, that will be $180 to get your car. For nothing!!! He was very upset and didn’t know what to do, so he went outside by his vehicle to call me and the manager (Napoleon) went out and got in his face and started confronting him. I’ve seen other reviews where they treat young adults like crap. And they call themselves Christian. It’s disgraceful.

After numerous visits for the same issue, I'm confident this shop has no integrity or willingness to do the right thing. Beware! They took a car that was basically brand new and left it with pieces of the dashboard falling off, and the steering wheel all jammed up, thinking no one would notice. I immediately rejected the car. When called on that and a noise emanating from the same location of their repair, they refused to honor their own shop warranty, despite it being printed on all the paperwork, and having a second opinion from the vehicle manufacturer. They even billed me for a diagnosis to investigate their shoddy repair work! Imagine that! Trying to get the owner has been no help, he's been dodging my calls for weeks! If I would have had been given a choice, I would never have taken my car here.

I had an excellent experience at CBA! From the moment I walked in the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took the time to listen to my concerns about my car and explained everything clearly. What I really appreciated was their honesty they didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs and they gave me a fair and accurate estimate for the work needed, .The process and pricing was transparent with no surprises. As a bonus the lobby is very nice with coffee and snacks. Im defiantly a customer for life.

They were very helpful and professional. Their waiting area is so clean and cute. They kept me informed and updated on the status of my vehicle. They were quick and efficient. I do have a great warranty plan so that helps but they did a phenomenal job. Will go back to them for any further needs. I’ve used them for an oil change once and an engine change.

I've been using Christian Brothers at Gilbert-San Tan for a couple of years now and have had great experiences. Today was above and beyond. I had my coolant flushed and radiator hoses changed on Friday. Saturday morning the low coolant light came on while I was driving. I looked at the overflow and it was a little low. I'm sure it was caused by a bubble that can sometimes cause fluids to look full when they have been drained and replaced. Christian Brothers is closed Saturdays and Sundays, so it was going to be a bit of an inconvenience to get time off of work on Monday morning to go in and get some coolant. I called and left a message on Saturday, and shockingly, I received a text message asking me to call Dave. When we talked, he offered to go to the shop Saturday night (it was 7pm) or he could meet me Sunday morning. I chose Sunday morning and Dave was waiting for me when I arrived. That is some serious customer service if you ask me!!! I will continue to use Christian Brothers Gilbert-San Tan and highly recommend them.

I rarely post negative reviews because I think it can be resolved other ways. But today I'm just done with these guys. My engine was leaking oil and (I went back here because it's under warranty) and I told them I just needed to check if the engine was under warranty to fix the leak. Next thing I know I'm getting invoices for 109 (just to check) $800 for shocks, $500 for leak stuff. It turns out it wasn't the engine and it was something else. Well there is no way I'm allowing them to do the service after story below. And they are still charging me the $109.00 just to check where the leak was which is NOT what I asked for. I only wanted to know if it was the engine and under warranty. Really poor customer service and honestly just being a decent human being after I've spent 16k at their shop over the years. I pray I don't have to go back for anything ever again!!!! Well in 2022 I went here and was told I needed a whole new engine on my car, they did it and it was expensive and took forever. I had to borrow my friends car so often because it kept having problems, then a few months later I take it back because it's having a harsh engagement into drive and they tell me I need a new transmission. They had two people that were helping me quit during this time so that was super messy too. At this point I've put so much in the car that I say okay because it's not worth it to get a new car financially. After 3 months of waiting for parts and such I'm informed that my car was taken to a whole different shop and the work wasn't even being done by them. Well the fix the car and it still was having issues, they told me to take it to the other shop where they said it was the mounts. So we replace the mounts and it's still having issues. I then tell them I need to know what is going on the tech comes out and says "this should not be happening and we need to stop charging her to do things that aren't working" he then says what needs to be done. The tech was literally the only helpful human at this whole office. It's a money grab shop that will nickel and dime you. I HIGHLY recommend going anywhere else

This was my first experience with CBA and it was a good one! They made sure I approved of all the work prior to initiating repairs and texted me with updated estimates. Service techs and management were super friendly and even gave me a ride home after I dropped it off! This is where I will be taking my RAV4 from now on.

Last week this location had my vehicle several days. Before I even had it towed to them , over the phone I said the fuel pump control module has gone bad and the car wasn't getting gas . It's located alongside the rear seat and I heard it buzzing and clicking before it died .I was told they were going to diagnose the car. I said no it's not necessary , i knew this was the problem.well, 170 dollars later they tell me it needs this and that which I couldn't care less about . I get a call saying it's the fuel pump. I say no,it's the Control module that regulates the fuel pump.I'm told no it's the fuel pump. Like an idiot I approve it for over 1,300 dollars . A few days later I'm told oops ! The brand new fuel pump isn't getting power from the control module ! Big surprise ! If your'e not going to follow the customer's complaint , why ask ?I was told " oh , they both went bad " Because they chose to replace the expensive part , I ended up spending over 1,800 for a job that takes about a half hour . And what really hurts is I had already bought the exact part I needed for a big 37 dollars . It was in my console the whole time . I worked for Tex Earnhardt for 15 years as customer service manager . They had that same "feed the monster " mentality and ther's nothing you can do . The best part was getting out to my car the next morning to find the gloss black vertical plastic dividers between all the windows ( on a Ford Flex ) were scraped and ruined by rubbing uo against some small tree. I assume someone was trying to make space on the lot for all the other cars . Never thought a neighborhood garage would be more expensive than a huge dealership

I took my truck in for a diagnostic for my ac system ($169) and they told me they could fix it for $1300+ , so I let them fix it. I took it home AC worked fine for about a week by week two it started going hot when I stopped and only blew cold when the truck was moving. At this point I’m convinced they rig it because that is unheard of. I took it back and was told now it’s something else that needs to be replaced and it will cost another $1700! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GETTING SERVICE AT THIS PLACE GO ELSEWHERE‼️

I don’t believe this place even deserves a one-star rating. At first, everything seemed fine. They completed their diagnostics and identified the “problems.” According to them, there was a laundry list of issues with my truck—the worst being that I supposedly needed a new engine. The service manager and I came up with a plan on how to proceed so we could eventually part ways. I authorized them to complete a couple of repairs, but unfortunately, life happened and I had other emergencies to deal with. I was later informed that I’d be charged a storage fee for them to hold my vehicle. I didn’t worry about it too much at the time since I had more pressing matters. Fast forward, I received a call from the bank that financed my vehicle, asking if I had any intention of retrieving what was now considered an abandoned vehicle from the impound lot. After hearing this, I called CBA to confirm whether they still had my truck. Once they verified that they no longer had it—and that it had been impounded as an “abandoned vehicle” because of 30 days with no contact—I asked why, since I had spoken with someone just two weeks prior about my plans to pick it up. I was told that conversation had been noted. I won’t name names, but the person I spoke to at CBA also told me the truck had been towed on October 17th and claimed they had no idea which company had towed it. He said he’d check with the owners and get back to me. The next day, he called and said the owners confirmed it went through an “automated system” and that there was no way to determine who took it. The only good thing they did was waive the storage fee they had been charging me. We discussed payment, and I agreed to take care of it. When I came in to pay, someone who accompanied me asked who had towed the vehicle and how they didn’t know. The employee looked us both in the eyes and repeated that it was automated, but said he’d “check again with the owners.” Thankfully, the notice of the abandoned vehicle was sent to my old address, where someone I know still lives. They contacted me to let me know they’d received a letter from the MVD about an abandoned vehicle under my name. That letter listed the towing company and their contact information. When I called the towing company, the owner told me I had been lied to by CBA. He explained that a written notice—signed by the shop—must exist authorizing the tow, and he even had text messages from the CBA employee regarding my vehicle. He also informed me that my truck had actually been impounded on October 11th—a full week earlier than what CBA told me. When I arrived at the impound lot, the owner asked about the issues my truck supposedly had. I explained everything, and he seemed intrigued. It turns out he’s a mechanic with his own shop. He performed a few quick tests and told me I had been lied to about the condition of the engine. To triple-check, I then brought my truck to a family-recommended auto shop. CBA had claimed there was a hole in one of the pistons, which is why I “needed” a new engine. The new mechanic ran the same diagnostics CBA did (I have all the records), and he confirmed there was no hole in the piston. He also verified that nearly all of the other supposed issues were nonexistent—except for the one repair I actually paid CBA to perform. All in all, this location cannot be trusted. From what I understand, they are franchised, but unfortunately, they don’t seem to hold the same standards across all locations—which is pretty ironic, considering their name.

I recently taken my vehicle in and told them it was the thermostat, and I knew that because I had already replaced my temperature sensor. I was told it would cost me $850 to replace thermostat. I told them that was very expensive and couldn't afford. They sent the breakdown, and it was less then $400 dollars for part and labor, $150 for diagnostic and rest was for radiator flush. When they gave me a break on price I was shocked. They could do it for $813, I refused went in and paid $150 and got my car back. That will be the last time we use this Christian Brothers, recommend going to a different shop.... they only want the money and could care less about you. They called the next morning and asked me to return a tool left in car, I told them to come get it......they didn't like that

With my Volvo headed out of warranty soon, I needed to find a trustworthy and qualified shop to maintain my vehicle. I believe I found one in Christian Brothers on Pecos. From first call through to check out, I was treated with respect and my car was treated with care. Through the day, I had contact with just about everyone there - Liam, Dave, Danny, Colten - and my car had contact with Eddie. Great service, helpful, and very good prices.

I took my Volkswagen to Christian Brothers for an Oil leak, that had me adding oil to my car on a monthly basis. Also, a sensor light that was coming on. They were friendly, but didn’t fix anything. I paid $450. and the rest was paid with my warranty. They added all these other “repairs” that I didn’t have to pay for because it was covered under warranty, but never fix the problem that I took my car there originally for. Less than 30 days later my oil light comes on again. I’m driving on the road out of town and that same sensor light comes on again. I contact Christian Brothers and they tell me to bring the car back and pay $200 for the diagnostics test. I asked why was I having the same issues they said well it could be several different reasons. But I felt like they should’ve check in for free because I just left there less than 30 days prior. So they just took my money and did pretty much nothing. And They charge my warranty for repairs I didn’t ask for, but didn’t fix the original problem. Now, I’m back to the same code popping up every other day And putting more oil in my car once a month, even after the oil change tuneup. Do not use Christian Brothers. They’ll just take your money

I had such a great experience with Christian Brothers Automotive! From the moment I pulled in, everyone was friendly, professional, and super easy to talk to. They really take customer service to another level. One thing I really appreciated was how communicative they were. They sent me videos of the inspection so I could actually see what they were talking about — no guessing or wondering what’s really going on with my car. Then they texted me a detailed estimate of the recommended repairs, and all I had to do was click to approve or decline each item. Seriously, so convenient and transparent! Their pricing was very reasonable, and the whole process felt honest and straightforward. They did an oil change, replaced the engine and cabin filters, brake pads, and shocks, and my car is running so smoothly now. On top of all that, they even gave me a ride home after I dropped off my vehicle, which was such a nice touch and saved me a ton of hassle. It’s rare to find an auto shop that makes things this easy and stress-free. I really felt like they cared about doing quality work and making sure I was comfortable with everything. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever my car needs anything. Highly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional, and customer-focused shop!
