I had to get towed there since my car wouldn't start in the morning. I called ahead and was greeted so nicely when I got there. The staff was professional, courteous, kept me up to date with my car's status. Explained clearly what needed to be done and was given a fair estimate. Work was done only after I approved repairs. Shuttle to and from location. Very happy with the work that was done. Will definitely be going back for my repairs and maintenance.

Absolute joke. Scheduled oil change, fluids check, general inspection so my new car didn't kill me, diagnose a misfiring issue. They didn't have the time, didn't call me that they didn't have the time, didn't pick me up until they had already closed, didn't realize my gas gauge was bad and my car needed gas, got distracted by that, tried to distract me with false results (the tie rod is fine yall, and the battery is reading weak because you killed it five times in a row). No explanation, no apology, no professionalism. I let them store my car for the day for free so they could do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They must have it indoors for a while though because they ACCIDENTALLY FIXED MY MISFIRING ISSUE by drying it out LOL. Absolute clown brigade.

My initial 1- star complaint: Took my minivan with 211k miles in expecting to get brakes done since they were squealing and uneven slowing from freeway speeds. They inspected and said the issue wasn't the brakes, but the control arms, shocks, and struts. Instead of a $900 repair, they recommended $4,700 worth of repairs and warned if I didn't do them at the same time it would be an extra thousand dollars. I authorized because we were about to go on a trip and needed it the next day. They were mindful of my timeline and completed the repair in time. On the trip, I realized the issues I took the van in for were not resolved with the expensive repairs I paid for. I left a 1-star review, they contacted me and wanted to "make it right." After a more thorough intake process, they did a more thorough test drive, identified the issue (which was the brakes) and completed the repair (labor, pads, and rotors) without any additional cost. I acknowledge they didn't have to do this and I feel better about the situation in some ways but there were still issues. Here are things I wished I considered and things I wish they did differently. I should have: 1. Not rushed into a repair and made other arrangements for our trip. A rental car would have been cheaper than this repair. 2. Considered the vehicle's value before authorizing repairs up to half of its value. Could have put that toward a newer vehicle. 3. Been more clear with my description of the issue, when it happens, and asked for a more thorough test drive when they couldn't replicate the issue (the second time they found both issues). I assumed what they identified would solve the issues and that was not the case. 4. Researched different options for places to take my vehicle. I did the research after instead of during the repair. Wrong order! Things I wish they did differently: 1. More thorough description gathering when the vehicle is initially dropped off. They did this afterward and it went better. 2. More thorough test drive seeking customer report of issues instead of relying on limited test drive and visual brake inspection. 3. Christian Brothers (CB) says they use premium parts. I requested the part numbers afterward only to find they used Autozone parts and marked them up to dealership prices. The Autozone parts come with a warranty, so CB would not have to pay anything if the part fails but indicates their mark up provides a warranty for their parts and labor. Essentially, you are paying for the labor to be done twice up front when you repair here. 4. CB padded the initial quote they gave me, then when they didn't order a part on the quote, they increaed their markup on the parts they did order to match the original quote amount instead of reducing the amount due by what was actually quoted (photos attached). I paid dealership prices for a repair that used aftermarket parts. They refunded the unordered part amount when I showed them the issue. Here's a breakdown of the different quotes I got afterward: •Toyota Dealership labor: $199/hr •CB labor: $185-211/hr depending on repair •BrakesPlus labor: $150/hr Parts: •Toyota Dealership: $1,636.97 (for genuine Toyota parts) •CB: $2,049.59 (for off-brand parts, 273% mark up) •BrakesPlus: $1,006 (for off-brand parts, 161% mark up) Here's an example of what the mark up looks like for an Autozone part on both CB and BrakesPlus quote: •Autozone part number LS54-94831L •I could buy online for: $168 (at time of research) •BrakesPlus quoted: $262.99 ($95 mark up) •CB charged me: $512.52 ($344.52 mark up and I needed 5 different parts. Not all parts were marked up the same amount and their mark up amount increased from quote to final invoice) Total parts, labor, shop fees: •Toyota dealership: $4,986.54 •CB: $4,773.38 •BrakesPlus: $3,600 I asked these places if I could pick up the parts for them to install but they all decline because of "liability issues." I took my other vehicle to Quality Auto Service Center in Haslet. Their part mark up was only $70. Based on this info, how many stars would you give?

Had work performed and what really makes me mad, I just found out they lost one of my locking lugnuts and instead of informing me or replacing it, they tried to hide it and just put a random beat up lugnut on to replace it. If a shop messes up and is willing to try and hide such a small mistake, what are they hiding with bigger mistakes when working on your car? Also, they lost a nut for a control arm so they had ME pay for them to get a whole new one just so they could get another nut.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Cristian Brothers for their exceptional care of my niece’s car. As a new driver (teenager), I was hesitant to entrust her vehicle to any repair shop, but Christian Brothers exceeded my expectations. They provided detailed information, kept me informed throughout the process, and were transparent about the pricing. Thank you so much! 😊

My daughter bought her first new-used car, and we brought it here for inspection. Sandy was incredibly kind and helpful. We put everything in my daughter’s name, and Sandy explained the process to her and asked if she had any questions. The mechanics explained the details of what they found, which was nothing big. We felt good about our purchase and have peace of mind that she has a safe vehicle. The inside of the building/waiting area is beautiful, nothing like I’ve seen before. We recommend using Christian Brothers Automotive. Click the thumbs up button if you’ve found my review helpful.

I am extremely disappointed with this repair. On July 16th at 8 AM, when I came into the shop, I told the front desk that the outer side of the tire on the driver's side was wearing out badly. I also mentioned that the driver's side suspension was lower than the passenger's side and hoped you could fix it. If not, please replace the suspension. If your cameras are working and have audio, you can check—I am not lying. Suspension replacement is a whole assembly. The price at the dealership is just over $300 for each, so about $600 for both. But you didn't purchase the whole assembly; instead, you bought each part separately, which increased the total price by 50%, charging me over $1200, adding to labor costs. Don't you consider your customers at all? Your so-called warranty markup on parts is too high. You should offer customers two prices: one with the warranty and one without. When I got my truck back, the mileage on the document was different from when I picked it up, meaning someone drove my truck for 10 miles. I checked and found that both new and old parts had scratches on them. Despite providing the tools for the repair, you charged me a fee for the tools. And the most important issue is still unresolved: the driver's side suspension is still lower than the passenger's side. I spent money, but the problem wasn't fixed. I'm really angry. If I could give zero stars, I would give negative one star. Very disappointed!! I have already sent you an email. Will there be a good discussion result?

This location was superior to the other locations we called. It was the farthest but the one we felt the most comfortable with. Service was excellent and they communicated very well. Our vehicle was done in a timely manner. We had our power steering pump replaced.

Expensive but very fast and informative. Showing you what is needed on your car and let's you pick which one is needed . I put 4 stars because they dont let you see the price for a diagnosis on the car computer was over 179.00 bucks. Seems a little steep just put a computer in. Especially when I already knew the codes and told them what they were. All they really did was wipe them off on the car. Should have been just 50 bucks at least

This group is helpful. I bought my car in for a "noise in the back end". They gave me a ride home while they evaluated it. They test drove it, discovered something that had plagued me (and the dealership) for 9 years, and fixed it (rear shocks/struts). They evaluated the rest of the car, found issues, provided me an electronic report with pictures and an estimate, and we reviewed it verbally (phone). Everything they found was believable to me. They came and got me from my home when it was done. Their attitude was so pleasant to experience. No complaining, no dismissal of my concerns, no manipulation of my emotions to get the most money from me. The car is now much more stable to drive. The price was significant, but the safety of the car and the trust built by the way they treated me means I will be back.

I recently had an oil leak in my truck, and GM dealership quoted me 10-14 days just for diagnostics. I decided to explore local options. That’s when I called Christian Brothers Automotive, and James couldn’t have been more accommodating. They ran the diagnostics and had everything fixed in under 24 hours! The entire team was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the shop itself was spotless. I’m thrilled to have found a trustworthy alternative to the dealership I highly recommend them for anyone in need of reliable auto service.

Friendly and knowledgeable. Took my Mazda in for brakes and an overall inspection. Their report system is pretty cool, they give you a write up of each recommendation with a picture of the area/system. Was actually shocked how quick they did front brakes/rotors and new belts.
