What a complete stealership!! My brother and mom get conned into buying a warranty, immediately goes back after to cancel, and they still have not gotten a refund after 5 months! Even better, the finance manager and GM will not answer any of their calls! What a complete joke!! We will NEVER come back!

Frustrating Experience with Poor Communication and Dishonest Negotiation - Don't even deserve 1 star We recently visited Ciocca Volkswagen of Allentown to lease a vehicle. After viewing a specific car on the lot, we asked for a 36-month lease quote with $3,000 down. The initial offer was around $620/month, which was shockingly high. After some negotiation, they came down to $415/month — around 33% down, wow. We countered with $385/month and were told they couldn't do it, so we walked away after spending nearly an hour and a half there. Just minutes later, while on our way to another dealership, we got a call saying our offer of $385/month was accepted for the car we had originally discussed and seen. We turned around and returned to start the paperwork. About 30 minutes into the documentation process, the salesperson — who was actually very polite throughout — came back and informed us that the accepted offer was not for the car we had seen, but for a different, less expensive vehicle we had never even looked at. When we expressed our frustration, the sales manager was dismissive and unprofessional, basically saying “take it or leave it,” knowing we had already invested close to 3 hours. This experience left us feeling misled and pressured. First, we were quoted an inflated price that would’ve cost us significantly more had we accepted it. Then, even after agreeing on terms, they baited us back only to switch the deal to a different car — a classic bait-and-switch tactic. Unfortunately, this kind of behavior reflects very poorly on the dealership's integrity and respect for customers' time and trust. Don't take the quote they give as this would be a very high price.

I would like to start off by saying that our sales consultant, Eli, was great. He answered questions and explained everything in detail. The used car sales manager, Jim, is not so great hence the 1 star review. Jim makes promises he doesn’t keep. We purchased a vehicle in May that had some cosmetic issues. We were not going to purchase the car but Jim asked if there was anything that could be done for us to purchase the vehicle. We weren’t looking for a slashed price we just wanted a small dent pulled and a couple of deep paint chips filled in. Jim said this was no problem he would have them fixed we just needed to bring the car back in for repairs and they would be covered. Jim said he would give us a call and let us know where we could get our car in for the repairs. I never received a call, so I waited a few weeks and decided I was going to call Jim and see where we were in the process of scheduling the repairs. I received Jim’s voicemail both times I called and I left a message asking for a return call both times. This was in June. I have yet to receive a call from Jim regarding the repairs I was promised for the purchase of my vehicle.

*Update. The owner or manager replied to this review, see below. I gave them the opportunity to make it right, as they offer, and the experience was somehow worse. They offered what they called their employee pricing discount, which is the same price a different VW dealer quoted me for a key fob. Josh, the sales manager didn't call me back with the reduced price quote he promised, I had to call them back over a week later. When I did reach him, I received what I was told was his best price (same as every other dealer). I reminded them it was their request to be given the opportunity to make it right. Too bad was the answer I got. Beware, they say all the right things for show (see below) and keep on treating customers with disdain and contempt. Nice work fellas. This was a lousy dealership to work with. During the sales process they made mistakes twice on the price of the car, both times showing me paperwork that had a higher price than we agreed to. I had to have them fix it both times. They then made errors on the finance paperwork that required me to return to the dealership to redo the paperwork. Seems like amateur hour here or they are just dishonest. To cap it off, they gave me one key fob, which happens sometimes on used cars and I get it. When I realized it and asked for them to show some goodwill and waive the programming fee if I bought a second key, they said they don't do anything for free. Just WOW. No more business from me or my family friends. Way to make a negative promoter out of a new customer.

Customer service is one of the toughest and least recognized jobs out there especially when it comes to going the extra mile and holding high standards, even when no one is watching. Today, Friday, just a few minutes before closing, Jimmy showed exactly what true customer service is all about. He didn’t just help me he went above and beyond, with patience and dedication, making sure everything was taken care of. That kind of effort speaks volumes about his character and commitment. In my opinion, it’s rare to find someone who delivers this level of care and professionalism. Thank you, Jimmy, for proving that genuine customer service still exists and for setting the bar high!

This place is honestly criminal. I brought my Passat here for a power steering rack install. Brought my own because VW no longer makes them. It was the wrong rack. No problem. But it took about 15 phone calls to be able to speak to anyone and it was a nightmare to coordinate or find anything out. I decided I’ll just pick the car up and take it elsewhere - they clearly aren’t interested in doing the job. No problem. I pick my car up and the bumper is TORN off of my car and my marker lights hanging out. I tell the service advisor. He has the absolute audacity to tell me it was from when I opened the hood in the parking lot which is just absolutely insane and impossible. The manager, Mark, was probably the rudest person I’ve ever had the privilege of talking to, can’t honestly believe he’s in service considering the entire time I was explaining the issue I was called a liar, corrected several times on my knowledge of vehicles (been in the industry for 10+ years) and was told that while I had photographic evidence I dropped my car off without damage. Mark informs me they take photos as well however unfortunately the girl who takes those photos just isn’t in today. Fine, whatever. He calls me the next day to confirm what I said that the CCTV footage shows me dropping the car off undamaged and me picking it up damaged. Then Mark follows that with saying that EVEN THOUGH I DROPPED IT OFF UNDAMAGED AND PICKED IT UP FROM THEIR LOT DAMAGED THAT IT DID NOT HAPPEN THERE. I was getting gaslit by a service manager at a dealership. Insane. I was told that it’s not their problem and it actually led to me having my boss intervene (we’ve been dealing with ciocca for 25 years) and making them aware they caused more than $1000 of damage to my car. They gave me $200 for a used bumper after lying to my face, destroying my car, not returning my calls and treating me with 0 respect. Mindblowing this place is still in business. Forgot to mention mark also stated he had CCTV footage of my car going in and out unscathed but when I asked for this footage I was told they don’t have it and the other camera footage is confidential. So. Don’t come here and if you do, take photos of all 4 corners of your car in their parking lot and your odometer. Or be smarter and go somewhere where customer service is actually customer service.

Was a customer of 25 years. My most recent purchase of my VW has been a customer service nightmare. Every time I try to book appointments there is long lead times and longer wait times. Recalls get scheduled than cancelled due to product not available there, but available at any other VW dealership. Took my vehicle in for 30,000 mile inspection and general maintenance. I missed the window by a few miles and prior to service was told the inspection/regularly scheduled maintenance was going to cost $400. Took my vehicle to Koch 33 and saved my self $400 and got an experience that I was a valued VW customer. You are missed by the customers John.

Came from New York and purchased a ‘21 Jetta on 9.11.2025. On the 29th Peter, a finance manager, overnighted me a document that needed to be signed as they had made a mistake on an odometer form. Since then, there has been massive miscommunication with the dealership- between themselves relaying information on when my plates/registration will come in, and I have had to pester nearly every single employee to get an update. They all have been telling me my documents will arrive “within a week”, but it has been nearly 2 months. The car is now undriveable. The inspection is expired (they wont send out new tags), and the registration / plates are both past their expiration date. I can’t legally drive a vehicle that I’ve already made two payments on, and Ciocca can’t seem to even extend an apology or answer the phone now, let alone try to take any of this right.

Today I purchased my 3rd vehicle from Tyler Rider at Ciocca VW. That in itself, speaks volumes about Tyler and the entire Ciocca staff. Tyler is attentive, patient, and extremely personable. He demonstrates exceptional service, at the highest level during every experience and is extremely knowledgeable in all areas. He goes above and beyond to ensure the happiness of his customers. It is rare to find a car dealership with so many friendly faces, and genuine interactions. I will never shop another dealer. Thanks to Tyler, my family and I are lifelong customers. And would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a painless buying experience. Kudos Tyler, and staff!

I scheduled an appointment days in advance to see a VW Tiguan advertised on Ciocca Volkswagen’s official website. The appointment was confirmed again the same day, and I traveled an hour expecting to see the car. When I arrived, the vehicle wasn’t on the lot, nor was anything comparable. The salesperson had no idea I was coming in, no background on what I was looking for, or the conversation in general. They will lock you in with promises of low prices that seem more competitive than other dealers, only to tell you the advertised vehicle isn’t available and then try to sell you on something else. When I showed staff the online ad, we were quickly dismissed, told it was a “website error,” and essentially waved out the door. The dealership later admitted there was an issue with their site but provided no proof or explanation. Everything about this felt misleading and unprofessional. Even written confirmation didn’t matter here. Avoid this dealership at all costs unless you enjoy wasting your time or dealing with practices that appear to violate Pennsylvania’s Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law.

Called in to test drive a car "yes it's a available for test drive". I get there you can't test drive the car unless you want to purchase the same day. Should've said that on the phone so the costumers are aware of that before driving down. I would've been okay with that and said ok thank you. Also, the parking lot was full of ice at 4pm. Almost slipped and fell. Probably the worst dealership I've been too.

Bought our new Tiguan here and had an awesome experience. I came in after work, pretty close to closing, but never once felt rushed. Eli was our salesman, super friendly, took his time showing me all the features, and made us feel really good about the purchase. Far beyond being closed, he and a couple of the other team members worked hard to get my old license plate off (it was basically welded on with bald screws) without a single complaint. Just great people. Love the car, feel like I got an awesome deal, and would definitely recommend Eli and the dealership.

Truly the best and most straightforward car buying experience we’ve ever had, and we’ve had many over the years! Everything was transparent, easy, and stress-free from start to finish. A special thank you to Eli, our sales consultant, who was EXCEPTIONAL! He was personable, honest, knowledgeable, attentive, professional, patient, and genuinely caring. Eli made the process seamless and enjoyable, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with every step. Both Jimmy (sales manager) and Peter (finance) also made the transaction process smooth and easygoing. In a world where car buying can feel overwhelming, it was refreshing to deal with people who are simply straight-up decent. We couldn’t be happier with our experience! We highly recommend Ciocca Volkswagen of Allentown - and especially Eli - to anyone looking to buy a car.

Came to ciocca last Monday to buy a new car and the entire process was fast and simple. Eli was our salesman and was extremely kind and easy to talk to. I was looking at an Audi they had but he also showed us a Volkswagen that was in our budget as well. I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to cars but he did a great job explaining each car and every single feature they had to offer. He did an amazing job with helping me make my decision. When it came to the price they really worked with me to get me as close to my budget for my monthly payment as possible. Peter helped with the financing he went over all the warranty and options that we could add on but I never felt any pressure from him or anyone else to add it. He even helped me a few days after when I needed to get in contact with the lender. The team at this location is extremely helpful and kind. Thank you for making this whole experience smooth as possible and exciting! I absolutely love my car!

If you are looking for a VW, I would highly recommend Eli at Ciocca VW. He listened to my needs and asked the right questions to narrow down my options. He worked with me on the price so that I felt like I got a fair deal. Eli took the time to explain the features and benefits of my new car. He put me at ease throughout the entire transaction. Thanks, Eli, and the entire Ciocca VW team!
