Fair and thorough, highly recommend. I took in my car with AC issues and was greeted by Sean. He was quick and upfront about best and worst case scenario costs that matched cost estimates that you find from Reddit, aka they are fair in their pricing. They are a family founded business. You can see the pride they hold in trouble shooting and applying only repairs as determined to be necessary. There is constant communication happening between the techs, lead mechanic, and front desk so you never get the run around for updates or clarifications like you do if you go elsewhere. Drove away with freon topped off, happy with great customer service, and now ready for the Bakersfield heat.

I took my SUV in for a belt inspection and it checked out fine. However, I was told I needed front brakes and rotor resurfacing. Was given a quote of $480. Meanwhile, I called several other shops, and even the dealership was $160 cheaper. I ended up going to a reputable shop and got the same job done for half their quote. Just ridiculously overpriced.

I took my vehicle in with an electrical issue. They diagnosed it, came up with a plan and called me to get permition before proceeding. I gave permission and after fixing what they found was wrong I picked up my vehicle and off I went. 2 days later I was not able to start my vehicle nor keep it running without a jump box attached. I called Circle M and had my vehicle towed in. They honored their warranty on the parts found the bigger problem and fixed it. Anyone who has ever worked with electrical problems knows how much of a hassle it can be. I greatly appreciate the team here and will definitely be back. I highly recommend Circle M for any of your vehicle problems. Thank you for taking care of my Vehicle.

I’ve been a Circle M customer for several years now. It all started with a smog check. I was then introduced to their maintenance club which is not only convenient but it is a tremendous value and savings over retail. For convenience they even set you up with a no charge Uber if needed when you drop off your vehicle for service. They offer a quality service quickly and affordably. Special thanks to my service advisor Cesar for his expert care and frequent communication keeping me in the loop every step of the way. I took my 2022 Fiat 500 to them to investigate a cylinder 1 misfire code. They did a very thorough diagnostic and found that I had fixed the issue by replacing the plug and coil. Unfortunately the plug was of the wrong type and needed to be replaced. I played them to do the whole set. They found significant carbon buildup in the intake that I played to be removed. They replaced the air filter as well I received a detailed report of findings and actions taken. The only issue I had was that the plugs were billed just shy of $40 a piece. I find that excessive. Quite pleased with all else.

Had the auto headlights buffed and sanded. They came out looking like new. I was assured by staff that UV coat was applied to make these last longer. Was told that there was a 2 yr warranty on them and should last longer. Everything looks good and am hoping for many more years before new buffing or purchase of new headlights. I asked for a diagnostic report on my car. They said that my tail light was out which it was not. They were trying to charge me almost $800 for a new battery. It was $225 just to run the diagnostics on my car which I was not notified of. I brought my car here so many times and unfortunately won't be bringing it back..

The only reason they get 2 stars is because they are friendly and communicative. I just had my brakes done- full replace pads front and back, refinished rotors on front and replaced rotors on back. They charge per the book on hours- even if it only took them 20min, they’re charging 2hrs. They also double dip- they’ll charge the labor twice even though they’ve already got it pulled apart. My brake job was 3x the cost and I found out only after a family member took their vehicle in to a different place for the same job. My fault for not getting a second opinion.

They have taken over a wonderful, reputable business, established by the Whittington family decades ago, and have done an outstanding job at not only preserving this Green Acres smog and repair station, but have elevated it to an even higher level! In addition to a spotless, well maintained restroom, and waiting room, with complimentary beverages and snacks, they provide quick, yet thorough inspections and repairs, but ONLY If NEEDED. Traveling from AZ to OR and I needed a rear brake cylinder replaced on my 1985 VW Westfalia. The mechanic in AZ did the diagnostic but no parts. Called and spoke with Marcos who was “can do” on the repair and I drove carefully to Bakersfield. Rolled in at 3:30pm and 2.5 hours later I was back on the road 👍🏻. It didn’t cost 💲 much and the customer service was excellent. Fully endorse this establishment.

Hands down the only automotive place I would recommend. Marcos is straight forward and honest, hes not going to charge you for parts you don't need or tell you something that's untrue. Hes very knowledgeable and the mechanics are very knowledgeable as well. They do get very busy so set an appointment the earlier the better. The only honest mechanic shop I've come across yet.
