I had just moved down to the island and one morning I went down to start my 2021 Chevrolet Traverse to run errands and it started but it sounded terrible, rough and to me just died. After calling the Classic Chevrolet service department, David gave me the GM Warranty number to call and get my car towed to them. My car ended up in their shop for almost 2 months. David kept me updated weekly. The technician @ Classic even had to get in touch with the corporate GM Technician to have them help determine the problem. Finally it was determined to replace my car with a new engine as well as injectors (all GM warranty work). Yay! Ronnie found me a loaner a few days after my car was in the shop. It felt so good to have wheels under me the whole time my car was in the shop. These two guys are what makes Classic Auto Group a pleasure to work with and my car now has a great dealership for regular service. Great customer service you two! Thanks David and Ronnie! Mary L

The service here is always thorough and the staff is nice enough but the wait can be daunting. They don't accept appointments. I got there at 7 when they opened at wait 1 hour and 45 minutes for an oil change. I bought my car from them and have never taken it anywhere else for service. I want to stay loyal but the wait times are a major issue. **UPDATE** After posting I received a reply that they do take appointments I will try again when my next service is due. I am however lowering my star rating. They have reached out to me several times. By mail and phone trying to get me trade in my car because I am in an 'equity situation.' I have asked them to stop three times. They have not. I am so frustrated with it. Less than a year away from paying off my vehicle. I don't want a trade in and I don't want to start over at the beginning of a new five year loan. Just stop it already.

Took my car in for an oil change. When I picked it up, my floor mat was covered in grease. There was grease on other things inside the car as well. The next day I discovered a grease hand print on the driverside front fender with a dent. I'm not sure who did it, but I'm giving two stars because this is the first time I've had a problem with Classic.

Called in to do an online deal on a tundra. Willing to pay asking price with no questions asked. I couldn’t be an easier sale. Got stuck with Jerald and he was the worst person to deal with. I begged management to give me anyone else to complete this sale, as Jerald would take hours and hours just to answer a simple question. He made the sale impossible. Finally, after a few days, I emailed the dealership and told them I was taking my business elsewhere. Then, Guillermo stepped in, and I believe he is a manger of some type, but that’s irrelevant. He got the sale done in a matter of 1 morning. Much easier to work with and showed some competency. I worked with Terry in finance as well and he was equally as good to work with. I cannot emphasize enough how poor Jerald was to work with.

Absolutely a great service department!!! My wife and I were nearly 800 miles from home when our transmission went out pulling our camper Immediately I started calling around and at best it would be several weeks for repairs I then called The service department at Classic Auto in Galveston TX and talked with Jonathan, this was 12:16 on Friday afternoon. I explained the situation and he said he would call me back shortly. Within 15 minutes he had everything worked out and had a towing service call us to pick up our truck. Crazy as it sounds, We picked up our truck Saturday at 12:15 with a new transmission. Honestly, I didn’t know that kind of service still existed. I could go on but hopefully you understand the relief my wife and I had by coming across Jonathan! He did a spectacular job for us.

Put in a service request in 2 days prior to the date and got a confirmation email. Dropped it off the night before, got a call the next morning that they wouldn’t be able to see the truck for 3 days. Not sure why they didn’t call me when they saw the request. We had reserved a rental car and everything. Updated for response: This is untrue. I was called Tuesday morning and let me know they had several other diesel trucks in for repair and with only 2 diesel techs, they would be unable to see it for 3 days. As i noted in the online appointment request we leave on Friday so we would not be able to wait 3 days. I would have had no problem if i was called Monday prior to reserving a car and dropping the truck off and being told you guys were too busy, but I wasn’t told that until after I dropped it off. I was not ever told your team would be able to look at it on Tuesday but the complete opposite.

Did a service at a higher price than originally agreed on without asking me if I still wanted the service done. Then refused to use the military discount on the price to lower it. My issue is not with the cost of the oil change it is the decision that was made to proceed with the service without informing me first that the price was higher than previously discussed. At the time I was not even due for an oil change but thought it would be a good idea to get it done. Furthermore I was there the whole time and not one time did anybody tell me of the new oil requirement (which I would have agreed to get the service done ultimately). The refusal to add the military veteran discount was not a big deal other than it would have been an attempt to remedy the fact that I was paying more than agreed for a service without notice before the service was done

I scheduled an appointment on the 18th of December for the 30th. When I arrived I was told that there were 43 vehicles in front of me and that I would need to leave the vehicle. The next day I received a diagnosis of a bad power steering pump at a cost of $2,435. I asked to come and get my vehicle which I did as I couldn’t afford that amount. I paid over $200 for the diagnostic fee and some fluids. The vehicle had the water pump seized on the way home. Belt came off and I lost steering, brakes, etc as a result . I was lucky that I was in a parking lot. I could have been in terrible accident if the belt had come off 5 minutes earlier when I was on the highway. Actual diagnostic at another repair service was a bad water pump not a bad power steering pump. They provided a video showing the actual water pump with sound that recorded the actual sound I was hearing that had me to take that vehicle in for service in the first place. I need a full refund as your diagnosis was totally incorrect and place me in danger .The power steering pump is not the issue and is working fine.
