Cliff has the worst attitude and is an absolute liar! He quotes you 1 price over the phone, does the job then hikes the price up. His yard is extremely unorganized and he is extremely unprofessional. After my last interaction at this shop, I wouldn’t trust him to change the water in my dog’s bowl

I wouldn't use this guy to repair my bicycle! He is a nice guy but business is business. Very unprofessional, poor repair time management, needs more help, excuse after excuse on why your vehicle is not finished as promised, never returns texts or call on updates on your car, then has the nerve to charge you a arm and a leg when your vehicle is returned worse than what it was when he received it. Cliff had my vehicle for over one year. When I picked it up battery/low voltage light on after I purchased a new battery weeks prior, doors won't lock, A/C not working, gas tank door won't lock, black overspray paint all over my car, inside upholstery filty with oil fingerprints from working on car, battery compartment in trunk left undone and to top it off the car broke down on my way home and I had to have it towed and repaired by another mechanic which discovered that it needed a new alternator and a radiator. None of these things were a problem when I dropped my car off to Cliff auto repairs over a year ago, the only thing that I was satisfied with was he mounted two tires for me and he cleaned my headlight domes because they had turned white from sitting at his shop so long! I would have been better off taking my car to the dealership. At least I know it would have been done right and I would have received it back in less than a year!!! I will NEVER use or refer anybody to this guy again. Sorry to be so blunt, but it is what it is! -1 star rating

He's pricey but if you want your vehicle fixed right by an honest individual, I trust him. It hasn't been a time that I've taken my vehicle there and something new went wrong. I've slowly fixed all the problems from the worst-case to simple not that important until it was all done with no new surprises. I'm broke but happy with reliable transportation. ☺

Stay Far Away – Worst Experience Ever This shop is the definition of unprofessional and dishonest. I trusted them with my vehicle, paid a large deposit, and over a year later—not a single meaningful repair was done. My car was left sitting outside the entire time, exposed to the elements, engine parts open, and even ended up with a cracked window. No updates, no contract, no receipt, no communication. Just excuse after excuse. They will take your money, waste your time, and damage your vehicle. You’ve been warned. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Do not TRUST this Dude he get over on single moms & older women plus over priced I wish i could give zero stars I purchased a transmission to have him put in also I gave him to money to get the transmission 6months later I was told that he never put the transmission in from another car mechanic shop he only changed the panel the car continued to shift gear with a slight jerk but it was still safe to drive because I was told it’s going to gradually decrease I found out that he put mother oil in the transmission also never gave me the receipt that he told me it would’ve been $200 extra to get the receipt from the place. He got the transmission from which it was very odd but I didn’t want to spend any more time or money on the car which left me out sos …a terrible bad deal

WARNING: Do NOT trust Cliffs Auto Repairs with your vehicle. Cliffs Auto Repairs held my vehicle hostage for over 17 months. I was promised a simple repair under $3,500. Instead, I got endless delays, lies, and manipulation — and out of nowhere, a $7,582 bill for work I never approved, never saw, and that still hasn’t even been completed. The owner ignored my repeated calls and texts for MONTHS. He wouldn’t give me an estimate, wouldn’t send an invoice, and kept dodging questions. But when a female friend reached out, he responded immediately and began communicating with her instead — even sending her the invoice I had been asking for for over a year. That’s not just shady — that’s calculated. After I finally sent him a $1,500 deposit, which he demanded without any written documentation, he told me Zelle would be my "invoice." Since then? Silence. No receipts. No updates. No completed repair. Now he’s threatening to place a lien on my vehicle unless I pay his inflated price in full. This entire experience feels like a bait-and-switch trap — get your car in, tear it apart, go silent, then hit you with a bill you never agreed to and hold your vehicle until you pay. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP. If you leave your car here, expect to lose control of your property, your money, and your peace of mind. I’m currently pursuing legal action to recover my vehicle and damages. Learn from my mistake — go anywhere else.
