Took off my belt and asked me for 900 dollars and then they wouldnt it put it back on didnt even let me know they were going to take the belt off had to push my car across the streer where they helped me for 350 dollars . Rip off dont go here the manager is rude. I dont trust these folks with my cars.

Went to Collinsworth for a A/C for a temp door actuator for my driver side it doesn't blow cold when I start my car with the key but it blows cold when I remote start it and they recommended removing the EVAP case to investigate further and want to charge me a additional 880.00 on top of the 453 so I do not believe the repair was done right also they left the box and plastic that the new part came in inside my car on the passenger seat never had a repair shop do that and the old part in my seat as well

Went to The Transmission Shop (TTS) and had nothing but problems. I called Collinsworth and they offered to pick up my car from TTS and bring it to their shop. At this point TTS had my car for 5 days and still hadn't even looked at my car, of course they were just beginning to looking at it when I called to release my car to Collinsworth. They came back and said it was a sensor and not my transmission. I knew this was wrong and took my car to Collinsworth. They were very professional, and actually listened to me when diagnosing the issues. My cars transmission was completely replaced and they did it in a timely manner. They also worked with my extended warranty, I didn't have to do anything but pay my deductible. Great service all the way around. I will always take my car back, and recommend Collinsworth Car Care to EVERYONE.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!! Collinsworth is the worst shop in Garland. Went in to get an alignment and Greg the owner tells us it was unsuccessful due to the wheel bearings needing to be fixed. He then says he can not do the alignment until that is fixed but we need to pay the full amount of the the alignment. So we paid for a service that was not done. As I was talking to him asking for a refund, he missed a phone call and tells me “you see, I just lost another customer because of this issue, bottom line you will not get your money back”. He was so unprofessional and just plain mean. He wanted to charge over $750 to fix the wheel bearings when a shop down the street agreed to do it for $450 (alignment included) I definitely will not go back there and advice anyone looking for a place to fix your car DO NOT GO TO COLLINSWORTH on Saturn and Cranford (Garland, TX). In my opinion they are thieves!!!!

I trusted Greg and his team just for them to take advantage of me as a female. I highly do not recommend this place. Save your money… or he will break more parts in your car and overcharge you to keep you coming back. To add, the place is not well kept, sketchy place. Don’t come here unless you want to get scammed

Greg is super knowledgeable about automotive repair! The customer service at his shop is first-rate! I have been to a lot of shops, dealers, and independents, but I recommend Collingsworth Car Care if you want it fixed fast and correctly. I would trust my 2021 Lexus to his care anytime!

STOP Terrible Service. A neighbor service I though I could trust. Service performed not needed. BBB notified. Paid over $900. 00 for a tune up. An Employee Wreck my car in their care. They never told me. They made every attempt to glue the parts back on. Parts fell off in their care. Within three days, of the tune-up AAA has to cradle car in to the dealer for correction. I called the owner Greg he hung up the phone when asked to pay for the body damage. Not all 8 spark plugs were changed only a few. Total spent at this shop was over $2000.00. A rip off. Headed to legal. Rip Off Awful Awful service.

After spending 14 years in car sales and pretty much giving up all hope at dealerships, I wasn't sure I would be able to find an independent, trustworthy repair shop that didn't employ a large collection of mouth-breathers, did what they say they will do and charged a fair price. The new company I now work for has all of their work vehicles serviced with Greg and his crew so when it came time to repair my personal vehicle, I brought it to them solely on the reputation they already had with my company. Annnd, I am happy to report that they live up to that excellent reputation and then some. And it's the "then some" that you hardly ever encounter nowadays....you know what I'm talking about. Go see Greg and Eddie and see for yourself.

Been a customer for 12 years. Greg the owner & his staff are the real deal when it comes to honesty & great service.... The shop replaced radiator last year. Needs replacing again. Did work without my okay on price. Did not check heater as discussed. I will have to pay another deductible on the warranty for that! After 13 years biz with them, I won't be coming back. Less thorough work. AC not working even though I paid them to fix it. Don't seem to care like they used to.

This is the FIRST CRITICAL REVIEW I've ever written on ANY business. Only 2408 miles driven since this repair that I paid $1200 cash for. The A/C was used no more than 12 hours total after the new compressor was installed. The car has had no accidents of any kind. The compressor that Greg's shop installed (for $1200) just dropped off the engine block when I started the car one day. It was never bolted on like they told me it was. Greg sent a tow truck to pick the car up from my house and when I called later that day to check on my car, I was told that Greg has gone on vacation in Acapulco. My car stayed at that shop for 14 days and whenever I called to ask about my car, it was impossible to get a straight answer to why my a/c compressor would become unbolted. One of the guys that answered my call just said that I need to get a new engine. The next time I called them to say I can have AAA Auto Club tow the car off of Greg's lot.. but the message from Greg (still in Acapulco) was: "pay the fee for the tow truck Greg sent for $200, and then I could have my car". By this time I was beyond frustrated. Then I asked if they could put a smaller drive belt on and bypass the compressor. Greg got back from Acapulco and they called me with an estimate to put on a smaller belt and bypass the compressor.. $746.68 !!! I declined. I scheduled a AAA tow truck to meet me over at Greg's shop and he was still refusing to give me my car keys unless I paid him $200. Then he had a quick change of heart after I told him I would call police. At that point Greg had a childish name-calling tantrum. Never in my life saw a grown man have such a pathetic tantrum. Be aware that Collinsworth Car Care is just like so many others; They'll happily take your money without doing an honest repair or giving an honest explanation. The shop I had my car towed to did the bypass belt install perfectly for a tiny fraction of what greedy Greg wanted.

I called in to ask about a starter replacement for my wrangler. Greg was more than accommodating. My car was dropped on on a tow truck and scheduled to be ready the next day. I returned for my car and the following day. Later that evening It was the same problem my car wouldn't start. I was frustrated because it was very bad timing for me to have my car go down TWICE I Called Greg and explained the same issue happened again. And he made it right. The following day after work my car was ready and functioning well. If Collins worth did not make the situation right I wouldn't have returned. But all is well and I will be a returning customer.
