I took my 2003 ford focus to them because the check engine light was on. I knew what the problem was. The shift solenoid needed replacing. I got there at 3:30 and asked could it be repaired today. I was told no because he was leaving in 20 min. I said how about Sat. I was told no again. Then I was told they don't do anything with transmissions, and I should take it to another shop that was recommended. The problem is the website says they close at 6pm. The website also says they work on transmission. Lastly replacing a shift solenoid on a focus is not very hard, just messy. You have to drop and drain the transmission pan. The solenoids are right under the transmission filter. Unscrew one bolt swap them out and put everything back together. I didn't want to do this because of lack of space and it being very messy, but it seems I am going to have to.

Not really helpful answering question about having vehicle services, tone of voice was not interested in even setting up appointment. We all have our bad days but when you are dealing with the public you got to at least act like you care.

One word comes to mind for this place after the experience I just had . Awesome! Let me back track, I was hearing a strange noise coming from my front driver side wheel for 2 days and after doing my research I figured it must be coming from the front brakes being worn down. I go to the car parts store thinking I could handle it myself ( boy was I wrong). While trying to fix the first brake I broke one of the necessary bolts to finish the job. Leaving me without a front brake. I finally realized I should let a pro handle it and when I lowered my car I notice now my rear tire was flat -_-. I looked up the closest mechanic to me and lo and behold I found Conant Street Auto Service. Upon arrival (in a squeaky car with 1 brake missing and a flat tire) I was greeted by the owner who is a down to earth guy who makes you feel comfortable (unlike other mechanics who look at you funny when you don't know the proper handbook name of every car part) I handed him a list of what was wrong with the car. I picked up the car 2 hours later, not only did the fix everything on the list , they also inflated all my tires and didn't leave greasy fingerprints all over the car, which mechanics are know for. This shop just earned themselves a customer for life

Horrible experience. I went for an exhaust leak and instead of admitting that he and his workers were incapable of performing this type of work they fixed things I didn’t ask to be fixed. When I left my exhaust feel completely off! Stay Away!!!

I went there with a complicated problem, thinking it was going to be so expensive and their fast and cheap service made my day. Nothing but a bunch of third rate mechanics with a fourth rate shop! I brought my car there with a altanator issue I clearly explained. They kept the car for a week and at the end of the week all they could tell me was looks like the altanator " charged me 50 dollars The guy with the terrible flame tattoos and the guy with the robo cop haircut should be ashamed of themselves Never again two thumbs down

Sorry to say but wasn't very thorough on checking my car i went in for a wheel alignment yes I ask for a wheel alignment and ask to check for anything else they had my car for 5 hours never called me to say I needed Bushings before needing a wheel alignment no matter what you call your customer first and let them know what is wrong with there car not to do the work then tell me btw you going to need another wheel alignment after you fix the problem wow I would have gladly f Given them the job to fix my car if they would have let me know. I had to take my car elsewhere and on top of that I need another wheel alignment not good service at all will never ever take my car here again

Stay Away! I had the rear brakes done by them on a 2006 Subaru Outback. Three months later I returned to get the front brakes done. When I returned to pick up the car they charged me for front and rear brakes, an oil change and a top off of antifreeze, which I did not ask for. When I questioned the bill the serviceman said I would have to talk to the owner. I had them get him on the phone and he claimed that the brakes must have been defective. While I only paid for the front brakes, a few months later the rear brakes are squealing and after checking the brakes myself, it appears that they never changed the brakes at all, the pads were down to metal. I replaced the rear brakes and rotors myself. Now the front brakes are grabbing. I will never use them again and I would recommend you stay away. (Update - I replaced the front brakes and rotors and I had to change the caliper brackets as well, since the caliper pins were rusted in place. This means that even if they changed the front brake pads, they did not clean and lubricate the caliper pins. If the caliper pins can't move freely the brakes won't work properly. On the passenger side both pins were frozen, so the inner brake pad was nearly worn out, but the outer brake pad had almost no wear. On the driver side, one of the pins was frozen which caused uneven wear on the pads and one end of the pad was worn to metal.)

Brought in my car due to a leak and thought it was due to a bad transmission line. They said they will check it out. Hours later they confirmed and said I would have to buy the transmission line for them to fix. I did not like that I would assume responsibility if the piece i bought was good or not. Ended up buying it myself and changing it myself and no more leak. They charged me a fee for confirming what i thought was wrong which is reasonable as they took time to look at my car i guess

Car had a rattle on cold start up. I had called a few days before and they were honest with me that I would have to leave the car there for the day, so I was able to plan a good day to drop it off. They offered to drive me home if needed. Brought the car over at nine in the morning, received a call around 2 PM that the car was ready to go. They charged me about 50 bucks to replace some clamps on the heat shield. I found that to be pretty fair overall, very happy, no rattle, would go again for any issues.
