Brought my chevy work van to get the transmission computer tuned so that it wouldn't prematurely wear out the torque converter. The Cook team did a great job and got me in and out fast. Today they reprogrammed the TCM to prevent future failures to my 6I80e Transmission and also did an oil change as I was overdue for one. I have been using this shop and their sister shop advantage for the past 2 years and they do a phenomenal job every time. As a female, I feel like they talk to me as a person and tell me the truth about what is going on with my Truck. (Unlike other shops I have been to that see me as a female and automatically assume I know nothing about trucks and try to scam me out of unnecessary things). They are always very thorough and take their time. Both shops continue to exceed my expectations. If you are looking for a nice family-owned shop in the area that isn't run by a major corporation this is your go-to place. This shop treats you like family and their customer service is one of a kind.

I took my 2015 Chevy Silverado to them and not only did they rebuild the transmission they explained to me why the transmission failed in the first place. A+++++ service and in a timely manner too! I just need to give such a huge shout out to Dillion and all the great people at Cook's Transmission Services. My truck broke down delivering supplies to Bakersfield NC after Hellen. It was the transmission. I had another company look at my truck, they wanted to charge me $8000 to replace my transmission. I had my truck towed to Cook's and some how miraculously, my truck isn't messed up anymore and another miracle of the situation is even the tow bill had somehow been taken care of. These guys are honest very sweet angel's. And I am forever thankful for finding them. Thank you guys so so much! God bless you!

The guys over here are amazing at what they do. Super polite and professional and make sure they go above and beyond for the customer. I brought my truck in from an hour and a half away. They pulled me right in for a DOD and converter programming and had me out of the door in 30 minutes. Had a serious transmission issue with my 2014 Ford F 150. Took it to the Ford dealership. After they kept it for over a week, and also having a rep from headquarters in Michigan look at it, they finally admitted they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I took it to Cooks Transmission, and after 2 days they figured out what Ford couldn't, and proceeded to fix it...... These guys know their stuff!

Had my transmission rebuilt by them about 6 months ago. Great experience all round. Was having an issue with the truck this past weekend and wasn’t sure if it was trans or the motor. They were more than happy to take a look at it. Couldn’t create the issue that day so he said he would keep it for the weekend and see if the issue presented itself. It did and we found out is was a random misfire with the motor. But he had no issue covering whatever it would have been under warranty if it was an issue with the transmission. Highly recommend
