The Service Manager told me that my front brakes need to be replaced that there was scarring on the rotors and that the pads were bad He also told me that the rear brakes needed to be replaced soon. I took my truck for a second opinion and they said there was no scoring on the rotors and that the pad was still over 70% good and that the drum breaks on the back did not need replacing. They quoted me $500 per axle to fix them and then offered me a $50 discount on each axle if I did them that day. I will not comment on if this was intentional or not on The company part . I will leave it to the individual consumer to make up their own mind on this subject.

They got me right in, checked my vehicle over and let me know some other preventative maintenance repairs I needed to lengthen the life of my vehicle. This shop takes advantage of young women. I got my car towed there and I was told there were 2 key issues. They claimed they were fixing 2 issues on my car. They didn't my car still didn't work. I spent over $1000 and the issues are still there. Their negligence and lack of urgency to resolve these issues and take accountability for their actions resulted in my Spartanburg trip being ruined. I had to get my car towed to another mechanic that actually fixed the issue. Please take this as a warning and go elsewhere

On 10/14/25 I got an oil change at Speed Dee on W.O. Ezell Blvd. Drove from there to the house, got up around 4am to go to work the next day. Drove home from work and parked my truck. Left to go out of town left my truck parked in my driveway. Got back on Sunday and I notice a puddle of oil dripping from my truck. Called Speed Dee, the next day and informed Speed Dee of the situation and Speed Dee stated that I can bring it by to get checked out. So I checked my oil an it was low so I add more oil to Drove it to Speed Dee. Got there the Technician checked out my vehicle and drove it to the front and I stated to the technician was everything good now he stated yes. Three days after driving my truck the low oil pressure light came on.

THEY ARE AWESOME! Every time I need to have my car touched I bring them here! They are honest professional fast and super friendly! Especially Being a woman we face a few adversities when dealing with mechanics I NEVER HAVE THAT PROBLEM HERE! They are always fair and upfront! They have great prices and you never have to worry about the awful U-turn to have to get the fixing FIXED! Lovely complimentary coffee and the bourse are great for those who need to catch an oil change on sundays or after work hours !Highly recommended!

They will pressure you into buying all this for your car. They wanted me to pay $1,491 for a new battery and new brakes. If I’d known they’ll pressure you and also lie about needing things for your car, I would’ve been went somewhere else. They also have bad attitudes when they don’t get what they want, walking around slamming doors and not one smile on their face. They smile when they think they’ll take your money and leave you in debt. Beware if you’re a women because they are going to take that to their best advantage to feed you things and tell you that everything on your car is broken or going to be broke within the best month or so.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation was told I needed new tires so I bought four new tires. I drove around locally for the next 2 days and then I went back down to the Charleston area when I noticed I got on the highway and got to speeds over 70 miles an hour my steering wheel and everything was shaking, which means my wheels were not balanced correctly. I took my vehicle to a speedee down in the Charleston area and was told they’re not affiliated with The location in Spartanburg when they called the Spartanburg they said they couldn’t do anything to help me out and if I want to drive back up there at 55 miles an hour. All four wheels were missing correct weights to balance them (I looked at all four wheels when they lifted the truck) so it cost me another $160 to get the tires balanced so do not take your Vehicle to that location because they are incompetent and unwilling to own up to there mistakes

This morning I had a very uncomfortable moment at this oil change place. I’m a regular customer here and I had recommended it to my brother, telling him to wait for me there because he said his car was shaking and he thought it was because of the oil. I told him this place was very good, but after this experience, I don’t think so anymore. There was a white woman, a bit overweight, who treated us very badly. She said we couldn’t park there until we left the parking lot, but she didn’t even ask first if we were okay or what was going on. I had just gotten into my brother’s car to test it out because he said it was shaking. The car wasn’t shaking, but it did need an oil change. Because of her attitude, I felt extremely uncomfortable since her language and tone were extremely rude. Honestly, the manager or her supervisor should really train their staff well so they can treat customers with respect. With staff like this, I honestly won’t be coming back to this place. I hope this serves as feedback and that they learn to have a better attitude. And starting a Monday morning with such a nasty attitude is unacceptable.

We hit a chunk of concrete in the middle of I-26, and pulled into the first oil-change shop we could find. The guys at Speedee got my car in immediately and made sure nothing was damaged, and didn’t even charge us. Real nice guys. 👍👍
