Bad experience. Ended up doing business with Americas tires instead. Had two new tires in the back only needed the 2 front ones. They couldn't sell me 2 tires wanted me to buy all four new ones.

Technicians in this Costco Tire Center have very bad knowledge/skills about tires. Not longer ago, I bought two sets of tires from them, one set for my truck and another set for my Camry. Everything was fine at the beginning, but after a while the horseshoe light on the dashboard of my truck lit up. Couple months ago, I dropped by this Costco tire place to have them check the air pressure and fix the horseshoe light. The guy added more air to the tires but the horseshoe light didn't go away. He checked all the tire sensors but nothing was wrong with them either. He thought it might be the spare tire but refused to look at it because he didn't have time to check it. He wanted me to set an appointment to take it back at a later time for them to check the spare tire and its sensor. I set appointment and yesterday took it back but they could not fix the horseshoes light either. The guy from yesterday said he checked the spare tire, but it came with no sensor. He asked me to take it to Toyota to have them check it because Toyota has better technologies than this Costco Tire Center. A few months ago, I also bought two front tires from them for my Corvette. They ordered the two tires without the knowledge that they didn't even have the right tools to change the tires for the Corvette. When I took the Corvette in for the new tires, the guy called the Costco main center and the center didn't want them touch the Corvette because Costco Tire Center was not equipped to handle the Corvette. I was going to take the two tires to another place, so I could have the other place replace them. Guess what, I was told that they also ordered the wrong tires for the Corvette. I wasted so much time and energy with them due to their lack of knowledge and skills about tires.

Good people. Fast service. Desperately needed to have my spare tire put on while traveling home on 7/13. I pulled up 10 minutes before close and without hesitation one of the only mechanics left helped me out faster than a nascar pit crew and refused to charge me or take a tip. Absolute legend. If anyone knows the guy who was working drop his cash app/Venmo Highly recommend

Beware when you buy tires here. I was quoted at $480 over the phone. I thought it was a great price so I made an appointment to get new tires. When I showed up they charged me $100 dollars more. If I didn't need the tires so badly I would have gone elsewhere. The customer behind me also experienced something similar that day.

The mechanics were a duo of young lads that knew how to make the trip to service my vehicle quick and easy. If you work with them, they will return the favor and get you out asap and work with you. The kiosk service to check in tho... left a bit to be desired with the older individual that required me to basically yell for him to listen to what I was saying. But everything cant be perfect, and otherwise no complaints.

Touo was very unprofessional and pushy on Monday, Sep 23rd around 7 pm. I ended up not buying at the end. Later on he followed me and my wife outside while I was filling my tires with air, and took a picture of my cars and ourselves. What kind of a person is this? Since when Costco employs people who may be dangerous to its customers? I’ll take my business elsewhere this time, and hoping not to see him there when I need tires again.

Was trying to get a quote on a tire after a blow out. Was on the phone with my dad and the dude told me I need to get off the phone or he won’t sell me a tire. Also ordered a set of tires for my truck a couple years ago paid for everything only for them to tell me they couldn’t put the tires on my truck. Why I have no idea. Service here is ridiculous given them 3 different chances in the past 2 years only to be let down worse and worse as time goes on.

Booked an appointment, came in NO RECORD OF APPOINTMENT, CLERK GOT NASTY WITH ME. NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT HOURS, LIKE WE HAVE NO APPOINTMENT. DO NOT USE MERCED COSTCO, MANAGER ADMITTED TO ME MERCED COSTCO IS AN UNDERPERFORMING STORE! I also was charged more than the quote for the set of tires because they had the year of the truck completely wrong. But I gave them the exact tire size off of the tire so there should be no reason for the quote to be wrong. So we ended up paying $200 more. Because they can't get the prices right or the year of the truck or the appointment right.

Thought I needed to get my tires replaced due to other technicians at other places telling me so but Adam (I believe that was his name) let me know that my tires were fine and would be for a couple of months! Also, they also accidentally had ordered the wrong tires for my car, which was no problem because they didn’t need to get replaced at the end but he explained to me that everything was fine. Ended up getting a refund for the tires ordered, but he was super kind and explained everything thoroughly! Will be coming back in the future once my tires do need to be replaced and definitely would want him to do the service.

Had an appointment for 130 to have TPMS replaced. Arrived at 115, they said we are extremely busy it will be an hour to an hour and a half. Walk around Costco, get a call at 1:50 saying they needed to replace two TPMS sensors. I said go ahead. Over an hour later I am still waiting. I watched the service tech drop my Denali wheels face to face without a care in the world. They had all the tires on and then had to remove the two tires they put new TPMS sensors in and changed them again. This place is a joke. They have no idea what they are doing and have no care for peoples property. As I am writing this I am 2 hours into this and still do not have my car out.

I don't understand why they don't fire Manager Adam. Don't understand the service that argues with so many people. It doesn't help Costco at all. Please check this case with Costco HR department.

Merced Costco Terrible Manager ADAM I have always appreciated Costco’s great value and customer service, but my recent experience at the Merced location was disappointing. I had an interaction with a manager named Adam, and unfortunately, his approach was less than professional. Instead of providing helpful assistance, he came across as dismissive and unapproachable. While I understand that managing a busy store can be stressful, I believe that every customer deserves to be treated with respect and courtesy. A little patience and a positive attitude go a long way in ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. I truly hope that Costco maintains its high standards of customer service and that interactions like this are addressed constructively. I will continue shopping at Costco because of its great products and pricing, but I hope to see improvements in how customer concerns are handled in the future.

Outstanding service!!! Ten star rating. Showed up on a Saturday afternoon. The manager Adam assisted me. I brought my Mom’s car in because the tire light was on and Toyota could not figure it out. Adam (A+) took the extra time to find the hidden pinpoint leak, called me with an update and the whole team was just awesome. Momma (87) was thrilled. She was stressed about this. Adam was very rude I’m not sure if all the workers are the same but first my husband called and asked if someone spoke a different language when they said no he started to ask but was interrupted with a hold hold hold and put on hold I immediately called and was answered very quick but Adam answered the phone this time I said I have a question hope your not busy and he said kind off what’s wrong during the whole phone call he was very rude until the end when I asked for his name because I didn’t like his attitude at all, he changed his tone a bit very disappointed I love Costco and the store and its workers are all 10/10 but the tire center definitely could have better attitudes or if they don’t like working with people should look for a different job not customer service related.

Noah was rude. After purchasing a set of tires and having an appointment scheduled for installation I came to drop my vehicle off and was repeatedly asked if I had already purchased the tires or if I was told the tires were in stock. I was given an appointment immediately after purchasing and was continuously asked such an idiotic question even when presenting a receipt. They managed to leave the left rear tire of our vehicle at 14 psi. Amateurs. .
