Rude staff. Can’t even get appointments for 5 days. And even if you have an appointment, you have to wait 1 hour before even being seen. Last time it was 2 hours. Discount has always been sooo much better with my other car. As soon as I need new tires again, I’ll be staying with discount. They will price match Costco anyways. So no point in coming here any more.

It took whole day wait (drop off at 1030am) to repair the tire. No appointment. Why? How can you expect making an appointment for flat tire which is not what you can predict, and the next available appointment is a week later. If you want to buy tire without needed service, use costco. Or forget about this place.

It took 3 weeks for the tires to arrive after placing order. Then I was told during appointment that they could not install the tires because the door tag on my truck shows speed rating 113H (130 mph) and the tires I ordered were 113T(118mph). Basically this COSTCO will not install any winter tires or all terrain tires for you and you have to find our after wasting 1 month. Save yourself some time, don't bother to give them any business.

The worst Costco tire center ever visited. Came in for a basic tire replacement for a flat, and after 9 hours of waiting I come near closing time only to find out that they haven’t even started on the tire because of a membership issue, of which they didn’t even bother to call. They then told me to come tomorrow, 2 hours after opening and it will be done first thing as a priority. Come tomorrow only to find out that they hadn’t even started the tire AGAIN, didn’t answer any of my phone calls and didn’t even know of my situation because the workers hadn’t bothered to communicate with each other about my situation. Don’t deal with George, worst rep ever. Completely dismissive of my complaints, tried to pin blame on me for coming in an hour late despite the fact that they had literally 24 hours to change ONE TIRE and didn’t even bother to call when an issue with membership occurred. He had the audacity to even say I had 4 walk ins ahead of me, despite the fact I had dropped off my tire a WHOLE DAY IN ADVANCE. It took them nearly 3 more hours from when I came to finally replace the tire. To add insult the injury, when they gave me my car back they didn’t even air up the tire they replaced and insisted it was fine and I just had to drive it. It was at 19 PSI when it was supposed to be at 33. I then had to take even more time out of my day to do even the most basic level of their own job. While I got a credit of 40 dollars for my troubles, it pales in comparison for the 2 whole days I had to waste for something that should’ve taken max 2 hours to do. I’ve been a member of Costco since 2003, and this is by far the worst service I’ve received. I will never come to this tire center again.

We go to this location for the warehouse & tire center. Never had any bad experiences before. The only downside with the tire center is that they wouldn't let me buy my tires over the phone. Maybe it's part of their fraud protection, I don't know. I talked to George and he was very informational, helpful, & nice. I also talked to a different employee 6 months ago when I bought 2 new tires w/ installation. No problems so far. My experience is completely the opposite of these 1 star reviews so I guess you'll just have to try it out on your own and see. I recommend it here.

I would give them zero starts if I could. One of the worst service I have received. I had a appointment for a tire rotation and balancing. They we’re running low on staff and wanted to cancel my appointment saying I was 20 minutes late while I was standing in line and there was no one at the counter as it was the same person doing the service and manning the counter. When I told them that I was heading out of town and needed this they delayed the process and it was more than 3 hours before I received the car and on top of that the manager was very rude and made me replace a new tire with less than 5k miles by saying that there was a nail in the tire and cannot be removed and the tire need to be replaced. I have always used discount tires and the service was excellent, this was the first time I used the Costco tire service and would never advise anyone to use the tire service at Costco Sugar Land. Very unprofessional and always delays.

With tires purchased from Costco and an appointment, we waited almost 3 hours in the store for tire rotation! Told there was a nail and instead of replacing it, we got sent home with the spare tire installed and a request to come the next day. Came the next day for another 6+ hour stall-out. . . Grateful they noticed the nail. However, there is no excuse for the poor service and the wait time. This is Costco? Whatever happened to their pride in quality and service?

Don't suggest customers to come at 10 for walk in as there will already by 15 people ahead of you at 9 55 am even before the store close and you will not be served. Purchased 4 tires but earliest installation appointment was 2 weeks from purchase. Tire was dangerous to drive. Costco doesn't care about members. Too busy location. At 10 am it seemed like Thanksgiving sale with long queues on store. Do not schedule tire appointment at sugar land location. I got the refund.

By far the worst tire center. Oh, they'll sell you a tire if you're willing to waste your time ordering it, then wasting another day having it installed (at least a week later), but god help you if you have a flat tire or other emergency. They are the most apathetic bunch of people who seem to genuinely hate their job I have ever seen. They refused to pull my car in for a flat repair with 5 hours to go until closing because according to Chris the manager, it takes 35 minutes to fix a flat and they don't want to tie up a bay for that long. He also said in a very condescending tone that "You have a spare tire, that's what it's for". No Chris, a spare tire is to get you to the tire shop. It's not meant for you to drive on for days and risk getting another flat without a spare until an appointment opens up. Speaking of which, this location never has any available anyway. It's the most mismanaged tire shop (costco or otherwise) I have ever seen. The other Costco Tire shops are all terrible compared to Discount Tire, but this one in particular has an attitude to go with the terrible service. At that time, I was caring for my very ill late father so I just couldn't risk going without a spare but they did not care. Do yourself and your sanity a favor and go to Discount Tire. They'll price match Costco's prices too if that's your worry and their warranty certs are full replacement instead of prorated. Best part, you're in and out in less than an hour.

CHECK ON THE STATUS OF YOUR CAR IF IT’S NOT READY AFTER 1.5hr Time Out (service complete) - 2:02pm Text received - 2:53pm I waited an extra 45min after they had finished with my car because they didn’t send me a text or call that my car was ready. Fortunately, the guy (I think his name was Tuan) at the service desk recognized me in the cafeteria sitting area and asked, “You’re still here?? Your car has been ready for a while.” I got the text that my car was ready after I received the keys and was already halfway pumping gas into my tank. Hope this helps so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Not only will this place waste your time, they'll give you terrible service on top of it. I've never seen a tire shop run so inefficiently. If you're reading this, believe the negative reviews and find yourself another shop

First trip for tire repair and rotation but tire was not fixed and totally flat the next day. Second trip they said the lug nut is cross threaded. It is obviously they caused it but they denied. I filed a claim at Costco. After two weeks, they said they found no evidence. Subpar services with long wait and unfair claim procedures. Bring your cars to Discount Tire to save yourself some troubles. Update: the claim department called me again that they looked further into the case and is going to reimburse my repair of the lug nut elsewhere. Good thing that someone does care!

George who is supposed to be a supervisor doesn’t know the even the basics of good customer service. Terrible experience. Wasted 2 hours to get nothing. Not to mention the terrible way of communication. I thought Costco is big on customer service but not in this location. Now I’m reading the other reviews, it seems nobody care about all the 1 star reviews that they’re getting. Don’t waste your time and do your tires here.

This tire center is horrible—zero customer service. I dropped off my car for a rotation, and after waiting two hours, they finally told me they couldn’t do it. When I asked why they didn’t tell me sooner instead of wasting two hours, the guy just apologized and said nothing else. And of course, the warranty is useless for the tires. Never get tires from Costco.

I scheduled my tire rotation for Sunday. That morning, I got a call requesting me to reschedule due to short staffing. When I arrived for my new appointment on Monday, they told me they were backed up and would take an hour and a half. It ended taking over 3 hours. I’d rather go elsewhere if they are not able to handle their workload and staffing issues.

I had a frustrating and disappointing experience at this Costco Tire Center. I ordered new tires for my vehicle and received a call four days before my scheduled appointment saying the tires had arrived. Based on that, I came in the same day expecting a smooth installation — only to be told they actually didn’t have my tires in stock. After waiting over three hours, they ended up reinstalling my original tires. Ever since, my vehicle has had a shaking issue that wasn’t there before. It’s clear something wasn’t done properly during the process. The worst part has been the lack of communication. I’ve called several times to get answers about my tire order, and no one picks up the phone. As of now, I still don’t know where my tires are or when they’ll be installed. If you’re considering getting tires from Costco, I highly recommend visiting the River Oaks/Galleria location instead of this one. The service and communication at this location have been unacceptable, and I wouldn’t trust them with my vehicle again.

There was a trouble with the tire inflation machines outside in the Costco parking lot, and he was very kind enough to help us out individually and fill air in our tires after hours. Nathan is a very kind, sincere, and honest man. May God reward and bless him / his family immensely.

Initial Order Ordered my tires online and then received a message when they arrived. Great service. They fill your tires with nitrogen which is great. Never had that done anywhere else. They provided instructions on how to register your tires with the manufacturer. They also provided instructions on how to properly care for your tires. I would definitely recommend these folks and will get my tires here from now on. First Tire Rotation and Spin Balance It certainly takes a while. I dropped off my car at 3 pm and it was returned at 5 pm. It appears different folks work on the car when they have a moment. I expected it to take awhile. So long as you know it will take a long time and bring something to read or watch on your tablet or phone, it should not be too bad. I was nice to have the tires spin balanced and rotated without charge. I noticed all of the bad reviews. Yes, they certainly do not run the place like an Indy pit stop and clearly they don't care about all of the bad reviews.
