My partner wanted to replace one of her tires-- easy enough. She bought one and made an appointment. She ended up having to go there 3 times in total over the course of 3 weeks, and she still didn't get her tire replaced. [First visit] "Oh, we can't put on your new tire because we aren't allowed to make it so that you have more than 2 types of tires on your car." Ok, so she agrees to get 2 tires instead of 1, and they order them for her. [Second visit] "Oh, these are summer tires, they won't do well in the winter." Costco chose them for her and now they aren't the right tires! [Third visit] "Oh, this screw isn't fitting in right, you should go to a real mechanic so they can fix it and then come back for a fourth visit." That was it. She was done. FYI, when I got my tires done there, they told me all my tire pressure gauges were broken, but they have worked fine before and after. So I think they were just lying to up sell me.

Costco has decent discounts on various tires but the service at this location is below average with long customer waiting lines, poor knowledge regarding specific vehicle tires (they first ordered wrong size/type despite bringing in the car) and mediocre customer service. I suspect the tire center may not have adequate personnel and support. Their service providers seem more overwhelmed and not-so-friendlyđ...too bad Fortunately, this comment is specific for the tire center as I have found the remainder of my Costco experience to be pleasant - on numerous occasions.

I had a nail in the center of the tread of my tire and needed it patched. I waited 4 hours only to be told they can't patch self-sealing tires and that the tire would need to be replaced. However, apparently that specific tire isn't sold anymore (its from 2020) so they said I'd need 4 new tires...all because I got a nail in one. It all felt very odd, so I drove to another tire shop where they patched my tire within an hour, no problem. As the cherry on top, Costco still charged me for the patch even though they never even fixed it.

After a shady tire place in town lied about my tread depth and tried to bully me into buying new tires, the Costco team got me in right away to measure tread depth and assured me that the only thing I needed was a rotation. I'll be back when I do actually need tires.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I got a flat tire on 10/17, so I came here to buy a replacement. I figured it was about time I replaced all my tires, so I bought 4. They told me they were really backed up, so they couldn't get me on the schedule until 10/25, over a week later. I was about to tell them that I would just go elsewhere, but they convinced me that everywhere was backed up these days, and I normally trust Costco to give good service, so I believed them and made the appointment. Then I showed up on 10/25, and they told me they couldn't find the appointment! They rescheduled me for 10/28. So I came back, and this time they told me that they only had 2 of the 4 tires I had bought almost 2 weeks earlier! I asked them if they could at least put on the 2 tires they had (I had been driving on the spare this whole time!), but they said no, they had to put on all of them or none of them. I asked to speak to the supervisor, so the guy at the counter left, kept me waiting for several minutes, and then finally came saying I couldn't talk to the supervisor because he was "busy". I finally asked for a refund and made an appointment at Belle Tire, which could see me the next day. I will never buy tires from Costco again.

I am very disappointed, you would assume that Costco is a huge company that would have the right training to deal with customers. Unfortunately, they never reported a problem within my car when I installed all 4 of my new tires at their shop (700+ dollars for installation) when they declared that they "would recommend a problem in the notes if seen" which led to a bigger problem within all 4 of my tires. If the problem was recommended and written in my notes, I would not have problems with my tires 11 months after installing 4 new tires that cost around 800 dollars. Even their employee said, and I quote "I am so sorry, this should have been recommended in your notes" The hassle of trying to solve the problem was a huge waste of time, they told me they would get back to me within a day, but they never got back to me in a whole week. A week later, I called to follow up and they told me to come in again, even though they had looked at my car not too long ago. Once I came in again, they informed me that they are unable to help me. They could have informed me over the phone, but instead they decided to bring me and made me wait for an hour, just to let me know the same information they have been providing over the phone. It was a huge waste of my time. save your money, and tires and tell them to have a good day.

Costco being a reputed brand, I was expecting them to be professionals. They do not come anywhere closer to the world " Professionalism "!! I usually go to Sam's club tire center, but this time made the mistake of going to Costco. Bought 4 new tires , but can not register. The tire manufacturer blames costco and costco Blames Tire manufacturer. What makes it even more difficult is the lack of communications from costco Tire Center. To start with, getting someone on the phone is very difficult. They hardly have patience to provide complete information, do not bother to answer questions. I understand they are always busy, but that can not be an excuse for their reluctance to resolve the issue. I guess I am back to being a loyal customer at Sam's Club Tire Center

I got a flat Tire. A total hassle. I couldn't get the tire off the tow truck driver couldn't get the tire off. Finally I inflated it again and drove it to Costco luckily it was only 6 Mi away. They were able to take me in that day gave me an incredible deal because I had bought tires there before and they gave me prorating on tread and anyway two new tires installed for 80 bucks. That sounds like a really great deal to me. I bought some soft serve Ice cream while I waited. Another deal

Made an appointment for 1215pm and my car wasn't started on until well after 2pm which resulted in me being late to work. Please honor the appointment times that your customers make. Install looks good and tires look great, but very disappointed with the service. One star for Costco (as a whole), one star for installation and warranty included in price.

Insulting experience to be treated this way by people who are working out of their depth or simply lazy and incompetent - unacceptable behavior, dismissed without an apology for wasting my time - they were about ready to damage my truck with improper lift placement, then tried to lie to my face that it couldn't be "safely" lifted due to frame rot, as if I hadn't seen it - the supervisor had to bite his tongue that they knew it was already safely situated, when i demanded to see it lifted there was no issue - it was clearly an excuse that someone just wanted to leave early, so instead they brought a floor manager to argue over the lift placement - unaware they were actually speaking with a real technician, me, with thousands of hours experience - no, the frame rails don't have pinch welds, and they removed my valve caps and told me it was to test the tpms - what a joke

Two months ago I went in for a tire rotation & balance appointment; with one tire indicating low, 24 vs 35psi. The other three read fine. After waiting an hour...plus, they said the tires didn't need rotated and found no leak in the one low tire, so I was sent on my way. Note, that they filled the one tire in question with air/nitrogen and told me to come back in two months. Today was the return and they rotated the tires. As though there would be a lot of tread change in these last two months of much cooler weather. đ¤ And yes, they found a leak in said low tire, at the valve stem. Tires are a very serious matter folks. They're the material that connects our 1 ton+ missile to the road. Be aware, be informed, and be knowledgeable. Costco tire centers have changed, and my two recent experiences were less than acceptable. BTW, my appointment today was almost 2-1/2 hours and they tried to charge me three lousy dollars. I think not!!!

Had appointment at 1 for balance and rotate. Dropped off 45 mins early and paid. Received automated text at 3:12 that my vehicle was ready for pickup. Waited at service desk for 5 mins before anyone showed up to help. When given keys back was informed tires were not in condition to be serviced and told to buy new tires. Nothing was done to my car. Had to wait for a supervisor to allow my refund. They had my car for over two hours to do nothing with it. No apologies. No calls. Disorganized. Do not recommend. Would cancel my membership if I was not an employee.

They have great prices, but when youâre promised your car in 45 minutes and youâre still waiting at 2 1/2 hours, you might have an issue with staffing. All they could tell me was they were shortstaffed. I Completely understandable especially on a holiday weekend, but donât accept appointments if you canât deliver the good as expected. At the very least apologize and offer some coupon or discount for another service to make up for the extremely long wait

I had a very good experience with Costco tire service. I made the appointment online the night before. When I arrived, the person working the desk explained that they were running a little behind that morning because they were understaffed and that my car might take longer than usual. So I took the bus, conveniently located near the Costco, to work and came back afterwards to pick up the car. Despite the controlled chaos of Costco, they took their time to explain to me exactly what was wrong with the tire and how they fixed it. I thought the experience was pretty seamless. They sell good-quality tires and back them up with their service. I would recommend going to Costco for their tire needs to anyone.

Love Costco, tires are a goodwill deal, super service no alignment services. $1.50 hot dogs while you wait.

A lot of people give this tire center low ratings, and now I understand why. I originally booked a 12:15 appointment, but when I arrived at 12:40 I was told my slot was void and I had to reschedule. I came back for the 5:30 appointment, dropped off my car at 5:10, and it still took over 2 hours to finish a simple tire change. The tires themselves are good quality and the price is fair, but the overall service was extremely slow and communication was poor. Be prepared to wait far longer than expected.

Costco AA tire center is going to hate this one! You need to get it together because your service is terrible no matter how nice your staff is! I made an appointment for a simple tire repair so I would not expect to wait 2 hours for it be done then to add more insult you charged me for a valve stem I did not need, told me there is no hole when I told you I saw and heard it with my own eyes and ears but maybe because Iâm a woman I donât know what Iâm talking about? Well, guess what I left Costco went down the road watching my tire losing air already and went to a REAL tire shop that repaired the hole.

Bought a set of 4 tires last December before the winter really hit. Made afternoon appointment, dropped car off in the morning before work, car was ready for pickup early afternoon. I did this the next two visits too... For my service I added on the "TPMS" service thinking they were going to replace the batteries in my TPMS sensors, but turns out that ONLY swaps out the VALVES. So forewarning to others, you'll need to specify that you need the whole sensor replaced if you have dead TPMS sensors. Luckily they understood my mistake and didn't charge a full cost to me since the tires were just purchased. Further, in my case, I assumed wheel balance was implied after a TPMS sensor swap. After the second trip, my wheels were all out of balance, so I returned for a third trip to get them rebalanced. SO ANOTHER lesson learned: ask for a rebalance after a TPMS replacement. Apologies to the mechanics for having to take my tires off a second time for the TPMS sensors then rebalancing the wheels again. Thank you for working hard.

Bought the tires online, following the detailed instructions online to match everything properly. Arrived at Costco for my scheduled appt once I received an email my tires had arrived. The woman who handled drop off, also handled my pick-up as well. She was very polite and courteous, just like every other costco employee I've interacted with. Went over info, she quoted 1-1.5hr once my appt tome arrived (I was early). They finished just under an hour. Informed me I had paid for a part that wasnt necessary so refunded it to me. She then went over in detail how to register my tires, went over all the free services provided by costco (ie balancing, rotations etc), also went over some issues with my vehicle that they would recommend I get checked out. All in all, a great experience! I'm just shocked at these negative reviews.
