They certainly doesn't operate like the actual store. It always takes 20 minutes to check into my appts every time. Why isn't there a receptionist doing that? I've waited over an hour to be told they won't fix a nail in my tire more than once. Today o am getting 1 tire replaced and I've waited almost 2 hours. This is nonsense. I am ready to go somewhere else next time.

Have gone there to fill nitrogen for all four tires. The charge was nominal, paid about $12 for all 4 trees. Staffs were very friendly as usual!! Nitrogen increases your tire life, also it never burst.. the pressure remains the same even if you drive for hours together... try nitrogen with Costco!!

I showed up pretty late in the afternoon after having a tire go out. The staff were very accommodating and even got me in for full tire replacement same day! Honestly outstanding service

I dont like to leave bad reviews on people that do service work, but whatever problem the tire center for Costco in Brandon, FL is having? It's gotta be fixed. We asked for a tire patch and had an appointment set. They said a few people were ahead of us, okay no problem... We showed them the tire with the nail on it and they said they would make sure it could be repaired by taking it off and replacing the spare. Okay cool. Over three hours later we get no phone call that our car has been done for about an hour and a half. On top of that? The receipt claims the tire was repaired. It wasnt. The nail was still in there and just thrown into the trunk.

Used to love costco tires center but no more. Came per appointment to rotate and balance tires, and after 2 hours they are telling me they cannot rotate tires because difference in tread depth is less than 2/32. Note that previously they turned me away because my mileage hadn't hit. So not sure how to time it exactly.

Terrible experience in Costco in Brandon they made me wait almost 3 hrs to then call me and tell me they couldn’t help me. I purchased 4 new tires from them almost 2 years ago. I got a nail in the left front tire. Although I was under warranty they refused to assist me and instead told me I had to purchase 2 new tires. I spoke to 4 different people all claiming to be supervisors 2 barely spoke English, and broken spanish. I couldn’t understand them and I speak Spanish go figure. I am an honest hard working man and would never post a bad review if it wasn’t true. I rather go to Walmart. Don’t do it, I regret and will never again use Costco’s auto center. The only reason I left 1 star is because it wouldn’t let me post unless I select 1 star I give them 0 stars

Great staff. Not nearly enough of them. Expect to wait for service at the counter. 9.9.2023 update: Daniel went above and beyond to help me figure out a problem with my spare tire. Five-star service. 1.30.2024: always a line. Never well-staffed. Maintenance tech’s wait while cars cannot be checked in.

Huge shoutout to Jahsh at Costco! He seriously went above and beyond to help me out. I was having troubles with my tire and he made sure I was taken care of right away. Not only that, but when I noticed I had an issue with my tire, Jahsh didn’t hesitate to step in and help me get it fixed. Super professional, kind, and genuinely helpful thank you for making a stressful situation so much easier!

"1-1.5 hours" - almost 5 hours to put on a set of tires. Didn't remember TPMS at first. I get that they can't give exact numbers, but for someone to wait there that much longer, thinking it'll be done soon, is ridiculous.

Today was so busy at the tire center and I saw so many rude people come into this facility and take their stress out on the employees. I give a one star review to any adult who enters this location and thinks that they can talk down to or threaten employees who are there servicing their vehicles. You might be frustrated that you got a flat tire or that your battery is dead, but you absolutely do not have the right or privilege to take it out on someone who is there doing their job which is to help you! I received wonderful Service and a new set of tires. despite how busy the facility was, they were done with my vehicle in less than an hour. Thank you so much to Charles and Samuel for their professionalism and dedication to service. The employees at this location deserve a raise, and they deserve to be treated with respect. Go get a therapist if you have anger problems. angry venting tantrum throwing adults are usurping the daylight. It takes time to calm you down and process your emotional needs. The employees are required to use the hours of the day to address your psyche before beginning work on your vehicle and mine! All while I stand waiting patiently in line. You are causing long lines and back log! You are clogging up the store, come in, do your business respectfully and leave. Then there will not be long lines.

I came into Costco without an appointment when my tire light came on. Even though it was busy, Jahsh took the time to look at my tires and find the nail. He was able to make me an appointment for later in the day to get it fixed. I was in and out later in the day within an hour. Great service!!

My rear driver’s side Michelin tire was unable to be filled with air as the cap was clogged with a red sealant. Donovan helped me out by taking the red filament out and put a new cap for me and filled the tire with air in 5 minutes. The employees here were very professional and kept the place very clean. Even though I was late to my appointment that I had booked yesterday they were very kind.

Staff was friendly enough but 3 hours to balance my tires isn’t reasonable (and twice the estimate.) Do not expect to get this done on your lunch break, it’s a whole day affair, even on a weekday. Good news is it only cost $5 a tire to balance them. I still love Costco but likely won’t be back to the tire dept.

I was VERY pleased with customer service in the tire center at the Costco location in Brandon, Fl. They were very helpful and pleasant. The power went out throughout the whole store and they were unable to complete the job of installing new tires on my car and I was rescheduled for the next day. They were very apologetic about the situation. The next day my tires were installed, but as I went to crank my car, the battery was dead. Of course, being the emotional female I am😉, I had a breakdown in the parking lot and David in the tire center came to my rescue. He was so nice, patient, and understanding. So thank you Costco for hiring employees that will help make people become lifetime customers. Kindness and empathy goes a long way in the world we live in today. Thank you!

Came with an appointment for tire change and was told that they are backed up and it will take two hours. After two hours they said it will take another 30 min and again after 30 min they said another 30 min. They do this everyday still they can’t manage appointment timely and can’t provide a proper estimate. Highly unprofessional. Hopefully, I will never have to deal with them again.

This morning, I busted a tire and unknowingly, the rim as well. Since I got my tires here, they squeezed me in for this afternoon. Jahsh was immensely helpful in inspecting the issue, not only showing me but also explaining exactly what was wrong, and then ordering the tire and locating the rim needed. Other customers were coming in as well and he managed to still help multiple people in a timely fashion! ✨

Whoever the manager is, tell them to get more people or do a better job. No one ever answers the phone, if you order tires online, you have no idea if they are in stock or not. Ordered 4 tires, made an appointment for installing them, then got an email 3 days later saying the tires would be in 3 days after the appointment date. Website shows tires, but you have no idea if they are in stock at the location you are signed in at.

The timing for a tire balance and rotation should take about 30 minutes. They assured me it would take that long, after I checked in after 45 minutes,because I did some shopping, I was told that they were backed up and it would be another 25 minutes, then again I checked in and was told another 15 minutes, all to just keep waiting and a totally different employee to tell me that it should be about another 20 minutes. I get it, things happen, but better and more accurate communication would be great!

Had an appointment for a flat tire today and honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with the wait time. Your staff were friendly, which is great, but a flat tire fix typically takes about 15 minutes, and I was there for over an hour and a half! What's the purpose of making an appointment if the wait is still that long? It seems like I'm not the only one experiencing these prolonged waits at Costco Auto Tires, even with a scheduled time.
