The sales men went beyond their job to get me the tires I needed and an appointment soon. Unlike 4 other east bay area Costco tire dept didn't even answer the phone or were not willing to accommodate.

These guys dont know how to communicate with each other. I had called a day in advance and asked if they would install the tires I had bought online was told yes they will but will not do warranty. Same day went there was told the same and was told to come in first thing in the morning and they will do it. The next morning the guy at the counter laughs and say no we dont do that. When I explained to him that I had called and had came in the day before and was told yes they will, he said at dont do it anymore and then after he looks at the tires he says why would we install other tires besides ours.

I'm usually very generous with review rating, but one thing that erks me and makes me give only 1-star rating is when a store lies. I waited in the tire center since 12:40, and my car was done at around 12:55. I was waiting for a phone call from them and I saw that they were not making any phone calls for completed cars. I didn't know my car was ready until at around 1:45 (I finally stood up and asked) because I couldn't see the outside easily. Then when I complained about not calling me, guess what they said? They called me but the cell service inside the store is bad, so I must have missed it. Are you kidding me? I was in the tire center, playing with my phone that worked perfectly with texting and internet, and did not see any employee making a single call to anyone in the tire section. I understand that on Sunday, things can go crazy, but I have to give 1-star because of that lie. Because of that one moment of him (his name was Ivan) lying to me, that destroyed all my trust on them. Not coming back to this place for tire service anymore.

Guy at the counter was lost told him i need to replace my front left they called me later saying they cant find the lock nut in my car and when i came they were working on the wrong tire wrong side and yeah i didnt have my lock nut it didnt come with the car but how come such a big company doesnt have a wheel lock nut set with all sizes and shapes that costs 60-80$ on amazon that they could use daily and help customers but they dont care…NEVER AGAIN

Just so you know, I was told it's policy that if you're not buying all four (or more) tires, it is against their policy to mount a tire unless it matches the same tires you already have on your vehicle. Keep in mind, they only sell three brands of tire. I still had the OEM tire on my truck, and was waiting to buy all new tires for another 6,000 miles or so. A blow-out just hours after getting my latest tire rotation put me in a position to need a new tire (preferably fairly cheap as I'm looking to get four new tires soon - of a brand I chose to suit my lifestyle of driving and off-roading, as well as customer feedback). The 3-stars is because the customer service from the tech was good, and although I ended up re-mounting my own tire, they did the job (of putting the tire on the rim) very quickly for me while I shopped at Costco. I will say, due to the shenanigans of their "policy" (despite telling their manager person I did not, indeed, intend on having the tire on my vehicle for the "years" he suggested while trying to validate this policy) and the expensive nature of their limited offerings, I probably won't be back for my set of tires.

Good service and prices. Unfortunately if you need a repair from a nail or anything gotta make appointment which is days out so warranty pretty useless on the tires. Minus well get tires some were else pay lil extra for warranty there an be able to just drive up to get repaired.

Ordered tires online and scheduled installation. Arrived, as requested, 15 minutes b4 appointment, and was processed intake immediately. One hour later, as we finished shopping and paying, checked for status and was advised our car was finished and being backed out of service bay.

This is the worst place to get tire installed. I would never buy tires here again. Service does not communicate to each other they always get mixed up order! I purchased 1 tire because one of my tire was not repairable. Few days later i called to checked if it arrived. Person that work their said my order was lost or so her ordered a another one. Few days again i got a called and said it arrived and i can come to get it installed. When i arrive 2 person said it's not here or i never placed an order. I showed my receipt. They're looking at me like a liar. Turns out my order in the 1st place was already their then in the first place! when i 1st called to checked the person that answered my call place another order under different persons name. Worst experience! They don't know how to managed orders and no communication to each. This is not the first time it happen to me! After 2 months i went online to order 3 tires for my car. I ordered it monday. I went to the store on 5 days later which is friday to confirm if it arrived. Person that work their said not arrived, he checked my order he said theres something with the order or paid didn't go thru. I asked if he had any stocked similar to my order. He said yes, so i said ok let me just buy it here. I purchased it he booked my installation Tuesday 4:45pm. I called my order online to cancel my online order. 4days later which is the day of my tire installation. I went to the store showed my receipt and appointment. The guy checked the back to prepare the 3 tire that i purchased. He said it's not here or not available. The manager came and looked around. He said the online that ordered arrived but was canceled. But the one i bought at the store is not even at the store. I was deeply mad! They couldn't install the tires that i purchased at the store and had to reschedule til my 3 tire's arrived!!! Worst experience! Bad service!!! I will never buy at this store again. I will cancel my plan and just go to a better place! U need better service
