Initial meet and greet after buying a new Subaru. So far, so good...we'll see when service or repairs are actually needed. Hopeful. 🤔

Truly one of the best service departments around, and I have been dealing with many service departments over several decades. Very professional and they work quickly. My Subaru has not had many issues but the times I have visited Crews I come away impressed.

Giving 5 stars specifically because of the great care that I experienced from the service manager, Jason. Long story short: took my 2014 Outback to Crews last week to get a bulb/taillight replaced; however, it didn’t get done correctly, so I was pretty upset. I came back and spoke to Jason who took responsibility and fixed it personally, quickly, and at no charge. He also told me his plan to coach his team and ensure the oversight that I experienced wouldn’t happen again. From my understanding, ~45 people work there (many younger people to manage) and a plenitude of cars that drive in everyday for service. People make mistakes, but even after my initial experience, I’m giving 5 stars because as long as Crews Subaru is managed by someone with Jason’s character, I will not hesitate to return if I need more service. General (obvious) side note for going to dealers: know what service you need done beforehand and what you are not willing to pay for/don’t need to be done (for example, I paid for air filter replacement that I probably could have done myself for significantly cheaper, but I didn’t know that until I looked it up afterwards).

I used the Express service for an oil change and tire rotation. Anthony was my service writer. They completed the work in a very reasonable amount of time, with Anthony giving us updates along the way. We bought our Outback here, and I have nothing but praise for these folks. And that comes from someone who was in the industry for 20 years!

I'm from Wisconsin, visiting family on Edisto Island and am having an issue with my 2019 Forester. I had called Crews when I first arrived about this issue and was told I had to book an appointment that would be at that time three weeks out. Had a local mechanic check the codes and from those codes he called and spoke with Subaru. Service work needs to be done at an authorized Subaru service center. Again, called Crews. I can book an appointment three weeks out, no exceptions. I could bring the car in and leave for an extended period of time to see if they could look at when they may have some time available between appointments but was told this may take longer than if I scheduled an appointment. Called my WI dealership and fortunately the issue doesn't affect engine cooling so I can drive back home, just don't push too hard. Now I understand scheduling and appointments and servicing because in the business I was in you do need to keep to a schedule but there are those times when you need to lend aid to people that do need help but the bottom line here is don't have a Subie issue and expect Crews to get you going.

I have had my Subaru for just over 2 years and have kept up all maintenance through Subaru. Honestly, I have not price shopped so I can't compare costs. They call with reminders and have helped me out when I needed to travel. Customer service is great!

These guys treated me great. This is my first vehicle bought from a dealership, 22 WRX. I had called about a clunk in my left front, the guy I called was an out of state rep who scheduled me same day. There was a miscommunication that they would need the car for 2 days to properly diag and order parts. We re scheduled, and Ashley comped a free oil change and tire rotation for the confusion! They found a bad CV axle on my left front and had to order it in. They gave me a loaner (a very nice 24 Crosstrek Sport with 3k miles) until my car was done. Ashley gave me very consistent text updates on the status, including 2 cross threaded studs they found when rotating tires that happened at a previous shop. The axle came in, they replaced a seal on my right rear axle, had the car done 2 days before I figured it would be done. Ashley worked with the warranty agency and I paid a very small fraction of what it was supposed to cost, which was just for the studs. I could not be happier with the way I've been treated at crews. Side note and something I am picky about, I have had previous vehicles "test driven" for 100 plus miles before, Crews test drove my WRX for only 2 miles. They really take care of their customers!

I went to the express service and Anthony helped me out. During one of the inspections, they noticed an issue with my car. He helped and gave me options with quotes after verifying if I was under any type of warranty. He kept me up to date and was very helpful.

The communication is not great compared to other dealers. They do a lot of business, and I had to travel 45 mins to 1 hr to get there. The rivers Ave traffic is never fun and they have no other local Subaru dealerships so this is what you get. First it took 1.5 weeks to get in with an appointment. Because they needed to order parts (a standard warrantee covered part was OOS). They didn't order it and I waited for 2 hrs to be told I had to come back. Rhey said I'd get a call (4 days later) when the part was in. I called at day 5, and was told it just came in and scheduled for the next day. Both times I had asked for a few other simple services (oil change & tail light replacement) to be done once I got the price, and IF I approved it. Both times they never told me the price and just did the work. I saw the request written down correctly by the cust. service rep. And that is not what transfered to the work order and invoice. Both times I had trouble getting any response on the texting platform. The work and the proces were reasonable. But it took over 2 weeks and 2 trips to get a rear door gate stay replaced, oil changed, and a light bulb replaced.

I have called Crews Subaru four times over the course of a week, attempting to speak with a service advisor. Each time, I was told they were too busy to take my call but would call me back. After four attempts, I am still waiting for a response. On my fourth call, I was assured someone would call me back before the end of the day, which did not happen. Megan excused this by saying they were really busy today. This is not just a one-time incident; four times over the course of a week is a pattern of behavior that is unacceptable. When I requested to speak with the manager, I was informed that Jason is the service manager. I expressed my dissatisfaction, as it is clear that he is not effectively managing the service department. I then asked for the dealership manager's name and was put on hold by Megan. Upon her return, she told me the manager was HR Hicks. My experience with this dealership has been highly concerning. A dealership claiming to be top-notch in customer service should not treat its customers in such a manner. I cannot recommend Cruz Subaru for any services, and I would not consider purchasing a car from them. It appears that if you encounter any issues, you will simply be given the runaround. Shame on you, Crews Subaru, for your poor customer service. Treat your customers as if you care.

This is why you buy a Subaru! We were 10 hours and hundreds of miles into a long postponed vacation when almost all the dashboard warning lights starting flashing on our 2012 Impreza. Crews was the nearest dealer and they were FANTASTIC. They got us in right away, had the problem diagnosed within a day and even loaned us a car to use on our vacation while the completed a complicated transmission repair. They kept us regularly updated during the entire process! Truly saved our vacation. A class act. HIGHLY recommend them.

As always, for years, I am very pleased with the Service Department at Crews Subaru. I was concerned about a possible battery or electrical system issue for my 2019 Forester. I called and got an appointment for the next day. Shane Nicely, the service advisor , was extremely pleasant and helpful. The service tech, Juan, very carefully checked my newly installed Subaru branded battery and electrical system thoroughly and even sent me a video of the readings off of various testing devices. He and Shane also talked with me directly about their findings and provided me with reassurance that everything was checking out well and within factory specifications. The battery installed last was covered under the 30 month full warranty replacement. The Subaru battery comes with a long prorated warranty coverage which I have not seen with other brands of batteries. Service is prompt and the waiting area is comfortable and has snacks and water bottles for free. I have owned 5 Subarus with the last three bought at Crews. The quality of the service department is a major factor to consider in the purchase of a new car and Crews Service Dept. has never disappointed me.
