They were retained for a service call and inspection and did not perform the work they were retained to do. Awful service.

No one will return phone call or awnser phone in parts on hold for 15 minutes or more when you do talk to someone they act like you are inconvenience to them because they are busy. Even if you don't have the part numbers you need they tell you to call back when you get what numbers and they might be able to help. I have gotten the same pump from them on the company account many times including two weeks ago.person on phone could not be bothered to look up account and get numbers for me.

Not a happy camper - have a fifthwheel camper with a Cummins generator and the generator is a piece of junk!! have had it to the repair shop (1/2 day from work each way) four times, either it wont stay running or it surges like crazy - Have called Cummins direct ad have been patronized and brushed off. We cannot dry camp without hauling another generator. Would never never buy another product with a Cummins generator. oh yes and of course the warranty has run out so no one cares.

I’ve had my motor home there for two different problems and have purchased parts there and had great service. Today I called for parts for my drive shaft air parking break and was told I have to contact the RV manufacturer. It is a road master chassis with a Cummins engine and Allison transmission. I was going to bring it there because they are supposedly Cummins Coach Care. But I guess they don’t Care anymore.

Great service staff. Dave, Alexa & Eric had a fully booked schedule but took me in off the road and worked me into their schedule to get my generator serviced, despite being short staffed by Cummings donating technicians to relief efforts in Puerto Rico. Service tech Roger was knowledgeable, efficient and explained everything to me. He went above and beyond and found a short in my breaker lights. These folks are top notch professionals. I'll travel all the way from Boston just for the peace of mind in knowing they did the work. Can't say enough good things about these people that would do them justice.

We are traveling across country in Our RV. Pulled into a service plaza to get some rest and sleep. Our generator make some awful noises last evening and then went silent. Couldn't get a peep out of it. Called here this morning to see if they could help. They asked us to get to shop before 11am. Ralph came out to check it out. Bearings blew apart taking out the rotor and bushings. Have commitments right now, but will be back in September. Fantastic staff, Ralph is extremely knowledgeable. We were lucky to find thrm and they were willing to work with our time restraints.

Excellent service. Super professional. Dave was extremely helpful and pleasant. Took my Motorhome there for Onan generator repair. They brought me me in on time, found the problem and fixed it. Fair price, and very nice facility. Would absolutely recommend if your generator has issues!

Fantastic service. True professionals in every way. I came in off the road with a problem with my batteries holding charge. They worked me into their crowded schedule, did a complete and thorough examination of my equipment and found several minor problems that we're easily repaired. They could've gone with the first indications and sell me a while me system. They didn't. Technican, Dan, took the extra time to check out ALL the possibilities and found an obscure hidden fuse buried way up underneath my chassis, that most layman would never have identified as a fuse. They had the part in the next day, installed and got me back on the road. Dan also replaced some older worn cables, cleaned up some lose connections, all the time checking the voltage improvement of each step. Folks at the service desk were equally professional. Dave, Alexa and Eric. Also thanks to another technician, Ralph, who added his wisdom of experience in diagnosing and recommending solutions. Great team of highly skilled professionals who know their craft and treat their customers with courtesy and respect. Highly recommend these folks to everyone.

I am so frustrated. I left my work vehicle with them for a week to have the generator fixed. Brought it home (which is an hour away), and it still wouldn't start. Brought it back for another week. Just got it home and found that they messed something up with my inverter system, which was brand new less than 6 months ago. I am now out 4 weeks of revenue and counting, $2100 for the repair (plus whatever it costs to fix the inverter), and over 12 hours worth of gas driving it there and back so many times (over $350).

I have a 29 year old RV and the Oran generator is the original equipment. I hadn't used it much because it was running very rough. Took it to Cummins and after they worked on it a day, they said it should be rebuilt to fix it properly. I didn't want to spend the money, but I agreed it needed it if I was ever to use it again. I didn't know in May that we would lose our power for 2 days in October, so I am very glad I had it rebuilt. It ran perfectly for 2 days keeping our fridge cold and the furnace hot, plus some lights and phone chargers. Thank you very much; I would recommend Cummins to anybody!

Came in last week, May 28, for my Cummins Onan generator. They diagnosed it in 90 mins said that some parts were needed. They removed it off my truck, and said they'd get the parts and fix it. They got the parts 3 days later, fixed it and fired it up. I came in today June 3 and they put my generator back in in 60 mins. This was all done under warranty. Awesome work Cummins Albany👍❤. Definitely recommended.

LONG AWAITING ULTIMATE REVIEW Did a rebuild out of frame down to bear block in 2020 and i must say it was a good experience, after the rebuild I had some minor issues I shared with shop Foreman Pete and he addressed all my concerns. Since that time until now the engine has never failed, it had been tried and tested and proven in all different weather/hill/ load sonorous 6 days a week up to making this post. This engine has been well put back together by tech :AJ To all especially to Owner ops, were its hard to get quality work done these days. I would recommend this Cummins location friendly and helpful environment also in the parts department very helpful guy's

We had an issue with our generator not working while traveling in our Motorhome from Florida to Albany. We called and talked to Kelly who said to bring it in for a Quick Look when we get to town. We did this morning and she and a team of two great tecs met us. They looked at the generator told yes what they thought and we were back on the road. They had the best customer service of all the Cummins places we’ve been to. Thanks for helping those of us living in our RV when on the road. Kudos to the whole team.

The Albany Cummins shop provides outstanding service. We brought our RV there to have the generator looked at since it was intermittently not starting. When we arrived we talked with Kelly and Rey about what we were experiencing and they were completely interested in hearing as much detail as possible. They then explained in easily understood terms what the likely problem was and how they would go about diagnosing it. They kept us well informed throughout confirming the problems they found, when they expected parts to arrive, and when they expected repairs to be completed. The generator now starts easier and runs more smoothly than it ever has. We are very pleased with their service and communication.

Let me share my experience I had with this Cummings dealer in Albany, NY. I came to this Cummings shop to get an overhead adjustment done on my t680. Since I got the truck in the shop I ask the them if they can fix an air leak that I had on the air lines coming in to the shifter, the lines is sitting on top of the transmission, 4 lines that have quick connections. All 4 of the quick connections were leaking. I had check them air lines before thats how I knew they were leaking. They said they can. I went to pick up my truck when they had finish and I start the truck up it was still losing air, I ask Peter if they had fix the air leak and he said yes, so I ask why is there no air in the air tanks then. They call the mechanic to the truck and the mechanic told me he fix the air lines, he replaced all the quick connections. Now... why would you LIE and said you fix the air leak when you did not!!!! AND CHARGE ME FOR SOMETHING THEY DID NOT FIX!! it's hard to find a honest mechanic shop these days now!!! I did the favor and open up the panel on the floor where the shifter is sitting and this is what I found...I have attached some videos. they did not change of fix anything!!! I sprayed the lines with soapy water and it was bubbling with air escaping... these are videos but not sure if it will play. this Cummings won't be seeing me again!!! take a look!.

We were traveling through NY from Florida in our Entegra motorhome - we had an issue with the DEF provisioning pump which was recently replaced, but the coach was showing the check engine light and throwing fault codes. We went to this shop where they were good enough to look at the coach the same day but after doing several hours of diagnostics said they could not find anything but charged us $700. they cleared the codes and sent us on our way. within 100 miles we were getting the same fault codes. We did make it home to Florida and took it to the cummins shop in Riviera Beach where they were able to determine that it was the DEF input tube - however i was charged again for the same diagnostics which i was told by Cummins that i would not be charged again.

The ISC 8.3 in my motorhome was throwing a code as we traveled from Arizona to the East Coast. My blue fire app indicated it was some sort of EGR issue. We stopped at a freightliner dealer in Alabama and they replaced the sensor And clean the EGR valve. Pretty much working from a trial and error standpoint. About 100 miles or so down the road I started getting that code again. My concern was that it was related to the DEF system and I was worried we might wind up in “limp mode”. We were working against a hard deadline and none of the Cummins shops along our route could take us right in, so I took the chance and continued heading north to our destination in Albany, New York, where we would be parking the bus for the summer and heading to Europe When we arrived in Albany we finally had some downtime and I was able to make an appointment with Cummins. I figured going straight to the engine manufacturer would be the best route rather than going through Freightliner. Rich, the service advisor was great. First he got me an appointment, then explained what they would do. They would remove the parts needed to do a thorough analysis and determine exactly what was causing the issue rather than just putting on new parts and seeing what happened. Long story short it took the better part of a week, but we’re all fixed and back up and running 100%. Repairs on these big engines are not cheap, but it’s a lot cheaper if you go to the right place the first time and have the job done right. Thank you Cummins Edit: It’s now eight months later, we have traveled over 3000 miles and are currently in Arizona, with no codes and an engine that’s running great
