Told my car needed one thing done had that fixed then told something else needed done. Lack of communication from staff. Took car to get fixed came out making another noise that I now have to pay extra for. Will not take my car back.

over priced and does poor work quoted me over $250 (labor) to change a sensor and claimed it would take 3 hours. found a video on YouTube that was 7 minutes long, I jacked the car and undid 2 bolts swapped out sensors and was done in 13 minutes with the car back on the ground

my vehicle got towed there because it broke down, they called me and told me it was the transmission and they would call me Monday with prices. In the meantime I found a cheaper alternative for myself. Noone called me Monday I had to call them. They told me 1800 used tranny 2700 rebuilt. I told them I was coming to pick it up because I had somewhere else doing it for half the price. When I went to get my vehicle I had to call the police because they said I owed them $325 and I never signed a work order nor did anyone verbally tell me they were taking my transmission out of my vehicle. They assumed they were doing the job and went ahead and removed it on their own. Not my fault. Then when I addressed the issue I was told to pay the bill, call a lawyer,or call the police or I wasn't getting my car. so I did just that and got my vehicle. Very Very disssatisfied

I've had my vehicles serviced here twice before and it is close. They were always nice and provided great service, however, things have changed. Today, I took two of vehicles to get state inspection and emissions. The 1st car needed minor repairs. I was quoted a price over twice the amount of the work. I know because later on, I took it to two other reputable shops for 2nd opinions. The 2nd car, I distinctly requested one service and they completed an add'l service w/out my knowledge or consent and charged me. When questioned, I got the run around. I asked to speak to the owner and was told he wasn't available. I am very disappointed and frustrated. It's unfortunate, but I will not be returning.

I have been getting my car serviced at this location for over 20 years - back when it was A. Z. Chevrolet. Dave Smith has kept the same level of excellent service under the new name. Fixes what is wrong and doesn't find anything that isn't. Hope he is around for many years to come as I will continue to need his service.

I had my car inspected today. There was an issue with my wheel lock (my fault). It was handled beautifully. The guys had more work to do but it was still taken care of and I was out in a timely manner. I will always use Dave Smith Auto for my vehicles

I am truly grateful for the great service that I receive from Dave Smith Auto. Mitch, an excellent mechanic, picks up my car at my worksite and returns it to me as well. Last year my Honda Fit broke down because the alternator was failing, and being 35 miles away, I had to go to not one, but two Honda dealerships for help. The first dealership said I would have to wait a week before they could look at it. The second dealership put in a new battery which was not needed, but I got my car back to Dave"s where the alternator was rebuilt and my car has been driving great ever since. Also, Honda said there is only one company that makes tires to fit my "Fit", but Dave Smith Auto gives me many options and fair pricing. I am happy to refer people to Dave Smith Auto because they have great mechanics, great customer service, and fair pricing.

Brought my car in to check over my electrical before I wore down a new battery, like I had the day before. I installed a new battery and I had advance auto run a test to inspect alternator performance. They reported no issue. Technician at Dave Smith hooks up his battery and alternator tester, has me cycle the lights but not turn on the car (how do you test a generator without letting it generate...) Then tells me his device is reporting that it isn't producing enough power and needs to be replaced. Cool I'm game, I'll even go pick up the replacement. Test it at O'Reilly's, no issues. Decided to check at a SECOND advance auto location and again it reports no issue. Every single test required the engine to be running. It seems obvious why the technician at Dave Smith was reporting that it wasn't producing power, it wasn't connected to a running engine! I know that technician knows more about cars than I do, so I can only assume they know how to use their testers. Either they didn't know how to use their tools, or they were trying to rip me off. Either way it was worth writing this. Double check anything these guys recommend at another shop, and then get the work done at the other shop.

I've used this garage twice. Prices were fair and the service is great. Most recently, I got my inspection done here and the mechanic actually brought be out on the floor and explained what was barely passing on the car and would need attention before winter- The fact he didn't pressure me into all those extras on the spot spoke volumes on their integrity.
