A dude at Decatur's Garage approached me and told me not to bring my black a** back to his shop. This guy barely gets business but to make racial comments after I choose to help this little boot leg car shop out with service lol. If you're black or of color I advise you to not go to this place but even if you're Caucasian you're still going to be over charged. Bad Business!

Have been carrying my car there for years my whole family does my only complaint is that they will Quote you a price and sometimes is higher when you go pick it up. The staff is aways friendly And they are still wearing facemasks even after the governor said anybody that was double vaccinated didn't have too which makes me more comfortable.

I honestly would give them 0 stars if possible. After $500 in repairs I find out barely two months later that I have a massive oil leak, there are parts literally hanging off the bottom of my car, and the window they “repaired” was never truly fixed. Their “temporary repair”, which they claim to have explained was only temporary which I don’t remember ever being discussed with me and even though I had to wait an extra day for them to get a part in specifically for this issue, is already broken barely 2 months later and still cost me $200. It was barely fixed in the first place because it would get stuck halfway down before it fully broke again. When I called to discuss my concerns the person who answered was NOT helpful and was honestly just very combative, denying any fault from the shop. There was no care for their customer when I’ve been coming to them over a year now and have even recommended them to friends. They basically said all of these issues were after my visit and blamed the window issue on me not listening? But it cost $200 and isn’t their responsibility. Ok. Will not return ever again and highly recommend no one else does either.

I was sent to Decatur’s garage on recommendation from a body shop, and haven’t been elsewhere since! They do everything on time, same day, and at a reasonable price. They’ve done everything from a/c, brakes, and inspections and I’ve walked away happy every time!

I just recently got my car inspected and unfortunately they charged me 80 dollars to make simple changes such as to change a head light. I was rather surprised because the staff is friendly and I love supporting local businesses. I regret to say I will not be returning nor will I recommend it to others

I've been going here for years now and have had two different cars serviced. Staff is always very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Every time I drop my car off with an issue, I get a call/explanation of the problem and an estimated cost. They have never done anything that I did not ask for. I plan to continue using their services and will recommend!

My household has been with Decatur's for years. We always have prompt reliable and cost effective resolutions to any problems, and good communication, reliable estimates. They are just great. I suspect the recent complaint about the $53 oil change my have been for the synthetic oil on newer vehicles, as well as responsible disposal, which I will pay for. I would be suspect of any place offering a $19.99 oil change.

As a woman I hate going to new mechanics because I know nothing about cars and I’m an easy target. When I walked into Decatur’s I was greeted by a lovely young woman who clearly knew what she was doing and could tell what was wrong with my car just based on the noise it made when I pulled up. I told her I was in a bit of a hurry and they had everything done within 3 hours. Great experience, I will definitely be back (but hopefully not anytime soon)

I've been taking my cars here for nearly 6 years and have positive things to say. Decatur goes above and beyond, which is amazing for a small shop. They're quick with repairs & maintenance and will give you an honest price. They even let me keep an old car there for over a month (for free) when it died and I wasn't sure what to do with it. Decatur truly is the absolute best!

My husband and I have been taking our vehicles to Decatur’s for the past 6 years and it’s always been a great experience. They are honest and trustworthy; I know they’re always going to tell us exactly what’s going on and what needs to be done - and if they can’t do it, they’ll give a recommendation (when this has happened, we’ve been thrilled with their recommendation). They’ve always done great work on our vehicles and in a reasonable time frame with upfront communication about what’s going on and what it’s going to cost. We always feel like we are charged a fair price. Highly recommend!

The staff here are absolute ANGELS! I brought my car in with concerns about a suspected leak, and they went above and beyond to help. They were incredibly accommodating, letting me drop it off for inspection after work. Luckily, everything checked out perfectly! To top it off, they even filled up my tires before sending me on my way. The service was excellent, and the entire experience was seamless. I couldn’t be more grateful for their kindness and professionalism—they truly deserve all the gold stars!
