The Best Service of any Firestone Complete Auto Care Center I've ever been to in my 15 years of being a customer of Firestone. I had the pleasure today of working directly with the General Store Manager, Mr. John Meadows. He was the most accommodating service manager I've ever dealt with in my life. Most, could care less about the quality of their work, or if you are pleased with the service you received, and you can forget about the customer service at most places, because it's almost non-existent anymore in this day in age. I 100%, without any hesitation, definitely recommend this location, and please make sure to ask to work with the Manager, maybe even tell him who recommended him. I just want everyone to know, if your seeking to find an honest repair shop, who cares about their customers, look no further than this location, and Mr. John Meadows. Grossly mislead by how quickly they would work on my vehicle and get back on the road. Made an appointment seemingly for no reason as it took them an hour to change one tire. So 4 hours for all new tires? No one here cares. They’re sitting or on their phones. Just like everywhere else nowadays, no quality of service or humanity. So sad and disappointing.

Avoid This Shop! Unprofessional and Incompetent I recently visited this shop for a routine brake inspection, but what I experienced was appalling. In 2019, they installed my brake pads backwards, which is a serious safety concern. When I confronted the manager about this issue, he refused to listen and literally shut the door in my face, leaving me standing outside. This kind of unprofessionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable. Not only did they botch the job initially, but they also refused to take responsibility or make it right. I strongly advise against taking your vehicle to this shop. Look elsewhere for a trustworthy and competent mechanic who will prioritize your safety and satisfaction. Save yourself the frustration and potential danger – stay away from this place!

I’ve come here twice and both times I’ve been given an estimate time that is HOURS off. The people are really nice but need to be better about how long things take. I was told at 11:11am my battery needed to be changed and it would be an hour. I’m writing this review as I sit in the Firestone at 1:20pm STILL waiting on my car. Last week I came in for my state inspection and was told there were only three cars ahead of me and mine should be done by noon. At noon I called and it was ‘next in line’. Then at 1:30pm I called again. Still next in line for inspection. And I starting walking toward the shop in hopes by the time I got there it would be done as it’s been there since 9am. It wasn’t until 3pm my inspection started and my care wasn’t done until 3:20pm. Please be better about timing and don’t like about how long it’ll take. This kind of stuff ruins my day. I can’t get anything done.

Definitely one of the worst firestones in Richmond. DO NOT GO HERE!! I went in to simply get my car up and running again. After telling me they were definitely able to order the part and fix the problem along with a couple other issues that THEY suggested, they wait a whole week later to tell me that they cannot fix it and that I need to go to the dealership. The main issue is that my alternator needed to be replaced but instead they gave me the run around and replaced my brakes when the car is unmovable and not working. This place was very unprofessional. To me the smart thing to do is to make sure that your able to get all the parts for the vehicle before saying you can fix something. I was told everything I asked for was going to be fixed but instead Im left with the same problem I came in with ( a bad alternator )and a charge for nearly $600 for brakes I did not need. They were polite on the phone that's all i can say but they definitely took advantage of me because I'm young and female.

I had my car towed here last weekend after getting a flat on my way out of town, and the customer service was really fantastic. I spoke to J on the phone, and she was really patient and helpful every time I called, and the team was able to get my tire replaced first thing in the morning to get me on my way less than 2 hours after the shop opened on Sunday. Really appreciate the service I got here!

DO NOT VISIT THIS STORE! I’ve been a Firestone customer over 20 years. This was my first.. ONLY…AND LAST TIME AT THIS LOCATION . I experienced a manager (Earl) he tried to get over on me and tried to sell me additional tires I did not need, especially when he learned I had a Firestone credit card. My car was serviced and immediately as I left.. the tire pressure warning displayed. I returned to the store and was told to drive around.. it will go away. It did not. I went back FIVE days later. I spoke with (Earl) informed him of the tire pressure warning light… He told me to take my car to the DEALERSHIP!! Unbelievable!! My tire pressure light has never been displayed until I had it serviced at THIS LOCATION!! I Repeat… DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I even received an email survey online.. explained my visit.. the survey asked if I would like to be contacted. Of course , I do. So it’s been well over a month…and no one has reach out to me. Save yourself a headache. Go elsewhere!!

Update: Several years have passed but today I still received outstanding service at this location, this time from Scott and manager Stone. They explained everything to me in non-technical language and even shared pictures of a potential problem. I trust Firestone 100% to do right by me. Great job! ******************** Robert & store manager provided me with superior customer service and attention to detail. A small task was done pleasantly and efficiently. This location is amazing! I went to get my tire pressure checked and my tread checked due to my tire pressure light being on. When I arrived I was greeted by the store manager, Earl, he was very polite and respectful. He, himself checked my tire pressure and the tread. He gave me suggestions, offered other options, and allowed me to make the decisions about my car. Some of the techs came out and did another sweep of my vehicle allowed space for me to ask questions and gave me logical and easy to understand answers.

I took my care in due to thermostat fluctuation. The service tech said my fan was disconnect and once fixed it would solve the problem. After I picked up my car it did the same thing 2 days later. Took it back in and the service tech found my thermostat was broken. I recd no explanation why this wasn't checked earlier. The service I received from my earlier visit resulted in replacing belts and water pump. I'm being charged labor for the same issue that they missed the first time.

About an hour and 45 minutes for a tire change, over inflated tire had to let air out and reset myself. Guy who took my car in with glasses was rude when I initially talked to him to see what he thought of my tire. Front desk lady was very sweet and kind. Would probably go back if needed.

I had an appointment for a state inspection. They even called me the day before to move my appointment to a “less busy” time slot. I still waited for over 2 hours for a scheduled appointment while others came and went. I only needed one lightbulb replaced after the inspection was complete. The lobby was dirty, bathroom was dirty, no free WiFi, and terrible communication. I was told the person working on my car was “working on three cars at the same time.” I will never bring business here again and recommend anyone taking their business elsewhere unless you want to dedicate an entire day to what should have been a 30 minute, pre-scheduled appointment while others.

I got an oil change from here. My car was returned to me with the maintenance light still on, the engine air hose not reconnected and just sitting loose, which led to my check engine light + others being on (I assume), and no updated sticker on my windshield. I reconnected the hose myself (not the first time a shop has not reconnected this hose so I always check afterward) and after several days the engine light turned off. If I didn’t know better I would have had to drop off my car during the day and leave it for diagnostics on the engine light. This place may leave you worse off than when you came in. The people are friendly though.
