I am extremely happy with my purchase of 3 Kawasaki dirt bikes, 110,150, and a 300. Been taking them to Gorman since I purchased in May( that’s why I’ve taken so long to review !) I honestly do not know how this place has kept such a high review. Contrary to a different review I made for a different dealership, this has by far been one of the most off putting experiences even within the Del Amo chain. Service: poor. First 4 times I went for a chain cleaning and adjustment took about 5 hours at the minimum. They recommended a chain replacement, I said "sure." They took the chain off (master link broken) WITHOUT checking if they had a replacement in stock. They were like we can order one but you shouldn't really be driving to much with the chain like that. Now just a week ago went in for a chain adjustment again. Made a weird sound. They said "tightened to the higher end of the spec" they "fixed it" within a day the chain was making a really weird sound. Turns out they messed up and I had to replace a 4 month old chain. Called them to talk about the damage they caused they said that the manager would give me a call back. Not 1 call in 4 hours. I ended up needing to go in person to talk to someone. Sales: poor to moderate. The times I have dealt with sales, I honestly don't think they know how to meet the customer with what they need. They are just trying to sell their inventory. And I will say they do a good job, but my purchase, really felt unsafe driving my first ever bike. I thankfully had some great people to help me learn to be safe and have fun riding.

Shout outs to the service department, there are rockstars works there! I brought my bike there to fix after I was in accident during my very first day of riding. Everybody was so supportive and went waaaay beyond regular service (even though they were humbly saying “we just do our job”), so it greatly helped me to get through this discouraging event of mine.

This review is a bit overdue. I bought my 2025 Zx6r a few months ago and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received while purchasing and since then. Both Juan and Rich were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my bike. I didn’t feel pressured to purchase and Rich tried hard to make sure I was happy with the deal I got. Since then, I’ve been treated like family every time I go in with friendly hellos and people happy to help or just chat. I give highest Kudos for both Juan and Rich and would recommend purchasing from this location to anyone!

Took my 2006 Yamaha Roadstar in as I was having issues with what I thought was the carburetor; possible repair, rebuild or replacement. I was asked to leave a deposit which I did. After a few days, they called and indicated that after looking at the bike and doing a couple test drives, the bike was running fine. They said they could still open up the carburetor or I could take the bike and see how it runs, which I did. They refunded a good portion of my deposit which I was grateful for. They were very personal and most important, honest. I would definitely recommend them for their services.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Del Amo Motorsports of Long Beach My recent experience at Del Amo Motorsports of Long Beach was one of the most frustrating dealership interactions I’ve ever had. In my opinion, the business practices at this location feel completely unprofessional and misleading. I was initially drawn in by what appeared to be a fair, straightforward price. However, when it came time to sign paperwork, the numbers suddenly changed. Several unexpected fees were added—none of which had been disclosed upfront—creating a last-minute price hike that felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. Even more concerning, I was told that they were unable to register the motorcycle I was purchasing, something that turned out to be untrue when I later verified the process myself. To me, this felt dishonest and manipulative, especially considering how important that information is when making a purchase decision. My interaction with Jerrold, the manager, was particularly disappointing. Rather than helping resolve the issues or clarifying the contradictions, he only reinforced my sense that customer transparency and integrity were not priorities here. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others to be extremely careful when dealing with this dealership. Overall, I left feeling misled, pressured, and completely dissatisfied. In my personal view, the practices I encountered are unacceptable, and I would advise anyone considering Del Amo Motorsports of Long Beach to proceed with caution—or look elsewhere entirely.

I can’t express how much I owe these guys Gratitude! I’ve had my bike in the garage for a little bit of time. Finally decided to get back on the road to save time in traffic and life has Been lifeing me lol I get about 30 miles from my house and I realize the wire is showing on my tire I go to Laidlaw. They were too busy to take me in. I go to a few different motorcycle shops. They weren’t open or they were too busy to take me in I called Michael one of the technicians who’s helped me out before and he was able to get me in last second by the nick of time I got my bike in there at 5 o’clock and they stayed overtime to help me get my bike up and running so I could safely get to work the next day. I worked with JoJo to get my 2026 r3 . He helped me get the exact bike I had to have . Even though they did not have the 2026 in stock yet JoJo went out of his way and made sure I got what I wanted ! Beautiful bike , welcoming experience. I went in knowing nothing at all feeling very scared and shy . JoJo was able to turn all that around !! It was a great experience buying here . Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for bikes and gear and hey not to mention they are literally a one stop shop they have all your needs as in they even have a service / parts department to keep you and your bike running smoothly and safely . 10/10 experience I cannot thank JoJo and not to mention Freddie whom delivered my bike . I finally decided to get a dirt bike, fully expecting the usual dealership experience where customer service mysteriously disappears. Not at Del Amo Motorsports in Long Beach. Freddy, my sales guy, responded almost instantly and clearly lives and breathes dirt bikes. If you have questions, whether you are new or experienced, he is the guy. Straightforward, no nonsense, and no sales games. We handled the entire deal online, and they were the only dealer who actually had the bike in stock. No “we might get one” ads here. When I showed up, David in finance looked at my credit and said he could get me a better rate. I did not believe him, but he dropped my rate by 7 percent and got me 14 percent through Yamaha. My credit is average, so that was a win. Service walked me through the break-in and future maintenance, and the parts department surprised me the most. Prices were basically Amazon-level, and with their discount, even cheaper. They even delivered the bike for free. Five stars. Great people, real bikes, and customer service that still exists.

Their service department is up to the mark when it comes to dealing manufacturer recalls, moderate customer handling, good ambience. I would suggest them to add more coffee and snacks vending machines to pass a good hangout time. Needs more sitting areas for long distance riders. Overall it's a unique experience that one can't forget easily.
