While the sales person was easy to work with, my experience with the finance department was not. After finalizing my transaction it was 1 hour and 45 minutes waiting at the dealership to see someone to sign papers which took less than 7 minutes. The wait to sign papers was a large disappointment.

I was very impressed with the transparency of your sales process. The all glass enclosed offices added to the feeling of an open transaction. Jeremy was very helpful and communicated with us frequently on the status of our vehicle which was brought in from another Chevrolet dealer. I will admit to being a septic of the car buying experience and was pleasantly surprised by the absence of pressure tactics so often associated with other dealerships.

I had a very bad experience with this Chevy. We dropped off a truck after an accident to get looked at it took them 3 months for them to just look at it. They said it was trashed and to come pick it up. When we went to pick it up they showed us where the truck was in the very back lot very hard to get the truck out. It didn’t run and they did not help us get it onto the dolly. It took us 2 hours to get it out of there with the help of friends because no worker came to help or check to see if we got it out okay. There were many working driving around and no one came to help us it was such a tight fit we could barely get out of the lot with the truck on the dolly. The guy that took was to our truck was also very rude and it was quite disappointing. Not only did it take them months to just look at it they also made it difficult to get back. Do not recommend going here for body work.

Between me and my ex-husband we have bought from the Menholt company our last six vehicles I would say, in Rapid City but they did not have the one that I wanted, but the one in Billings Montana did. When I bought it the customer service was great. I got a good price for my vehicle . They delivered it to Wyoming for me and I was able to pick it up., of course there was some minor setbacks like paperwork and some things that weren’t checked in the five star point inspection that they do . Which I wasn’t mad about because that happens and it’s easy fixes and not a lot of money to have done myself . Everything else was good after the full transaction was done the customer service went downhill. My car said it came with running boards and when I called them, they said they were going to order them for me and yet here it is over 4 months later and I still don’t have them. My sales guy gets the runaround ( they had extra , they don’t , they ordered them , they didn’t 🙄🤨) and I have left the store manager messages and he doesn’t want to return my phone calls. It’s weird because I’m not even a “ Karen” (lol) so I would say if you want a good price they’ll deal with you. If you buy a car you BETTER make sure everything‘s working properly and that the vehicle has EVERYTHING it says it has because once you buy they do not want to deal with you on any issues that you have nor want to call you back. If I was to rate between 0-5 I would give it a 2.5 because the first part of the experience was great, but once they get the money, it’s like you’re nobody. I am truly truly disappointed because I’ve spent a lot of money over the years with the Menholt name. At this point I won’t be going back. As you can see on paperwork running boards pictures of running boards when I asked about the car. Well when I received I asked about not having no running boards and since then just get the run around and ghosting a lot. Feels like I’m in the dating world 😂 again*** update 8/ 26 , they have responded to everyone else’s complaints on here but still nothing on mine***

I'm gonna start with saying that they were very helpful in getting me into a truck that I've been wanting for a while. Had a Colorado that I was not aware had been in an accident previously and they were able to get it checked out for my asking trade-in. But now for why a 2 star review. I had gotten the extended warranty with my used truck. Mind you it had about 40k miles on it and the warranty covered me for another 60k. Unfortunately with the last 5k miles of my warranty being viable my truck developed a harsh shifting issue. Fealt like I was getting rearended everytime I came to a full stop because it would shift from 3rd to first with higher than needed oil pressure (a local shop had to tell me this). The oil had been changed previous to coming into their shop because of a shudder I had experienced less than a year of owning the vehicle (pretty common and a simple fix). After remembering my warranty was still in play with the shifting issue I brought my truck in and explained my issue. After I had left it with Denny Menholt for a day, I went back to get it and hear what they found. They confirmed the shifting issue and did a relearn on the transmission. That was it, I had already had another shop do this and then to have this done again within a week. When my warranty was about to close out I had asked they take another look and at a more specific area of the transmission as I did some digging to find the valvebody is typical of have faulty valves. All I got in response was, "since there is no metal in the pan to indicate catastrophic failure, we cant do a warranty claim on it." On top of this i was also told by a shop manager, "all we can do is hope the unti blows up in the next 2,000 miles so it can be covered by the warranty." Now I have a local shop gonna be charging me 2k to replace parts on the valvebody (im fine with this because i didn't get the runaround with them like i did here). This post is made for anyone who may consider getting the warranty, dont because you may end up with more of a runaround than you will with a repair or a suggested fix.

I had not driven my new to me pickup(used 2020) for more than 300 miles (all interstate) when I noticed smoke coming from underneath the hood when I parked. I called texted my salesman at the Billings, MT, Denny Menholt Chevrolet dealership and he told me to take it to service shop ASAP. Got it there in the morning and was told they are slammed and could possibly get to it later on that day for a quick inspection, but we're packed. Updated my salesman on situation and he said he would call them. Got a call back from service department and they had diagnosed my pickup and found a cracked radiator. They had the part and could get it repaired in about 10hrs. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from them at 9:30am the next morning saying it was ready to pickup! Since I hadn't owned the pickup long before this cracked radiator, I was told my salesman would cover the cost. With im under a couple of different warranties right now it was only the deductible, I do appreciate paying for that definitely makes me feel a little better about the situation. David was the service guy dealt with, and he was great to deal with. My salesman was the absolute best, and sole reason I bought a vehicle that day. He was awesome to deal and talk with before I bought and he has been a huge help after with answering questions and helping get my truck a little jump in the service line. He said he was really new to being a car salesman, but i would have never guessed. Hopefully this Billings Denny Menholt dealeship keeps him around because he worth every penny! I have his name in my phone saved as Jeremy, I sure hope that's correct. Now I just hope my pickup doesnt have any more breakdowns for a bit.

Was unsatisfied with noone to help me check on recall information for my Silverado, walked around bays with over 8 offices and one guy on the phone 5 o'clock sharp on a Thursday, bathroom was closed, had to leave because I didn't have patience to chase one individual down. I can only do 20 min of waiting before even greeted. Though the cashier was nice and told me to continue to wait, twice. Does anybody work there?

From a people element of the buying experience at Denny Menholt we R very pleased. Tony and Tom were very accommodating. Im a little fearful for the other shoe to drop because I worked many years in the Auto business with George Selover and Bill Unerriner and ive seen good deals go south after the sale.
