Professional, personable, and reliable! My Jeep Grand Cherokee has been having issues literally since the day I bought it. A couple months ago, it would keep randomly turning off while idling or slipping when I was driving! It was taken to a repair shop back where I live in Southwest Michigan and among a huge list of other things, a new ignition and radiator was put in - thinking it would solve the problem. Less than two weeks later, the hose to my transmission blew off TWICE (one after being repaired). The place that repaired it brought my car to Denny's and I'm really glad they did! The mechanic working on my car, Willie, was so hardworking! He would check in often and let us know what was going on and he even came in on a Saturday to work on it! Willie found that 9 wires had melted together behind my engine! The issue was thought to be resolved, but when I tried to take my car and leave it wouldn't start! Willie worked right away to try and find the issue, even though it was close to closing time. While I was waiting, the lady that works in the office was so nice, she offered to help me with transportation if my car wasn't fixed that day! So long story short, they found the reason for my car not starting - a small fuse. The SAME reason my car kept shutting off months ago. I wish I would have just brought my car to Denny's in the first place!!

I had my 95 intrepid there due to overheating issues. I wasn't sure how bad it was but was informed it was cracked head gasket. Denny worked out a really good deal that repaired the problems and fixed other issues along with them. They took the time to clean the engine and other stuff. They are the MOST PROFESSIONAL STAFF I have dealt with for years. IF any issues arise or they need to let me such as a Bad Battery I trust them 100 Percent. Great work!!!👍....and very respectful and reasonable. If you're shopping for professional mechanic not a backyard mechanic this is the place to go!

I had been to the dealership who diagnosed my check engine light and they were saying that they could change the sensor and if that was not the issue, then they would change the mother board. This would have potentially cost me in the region of $2K. I took my car to Denny's as I was not comfortable with the Dealerships diagnosis. Tim at Denny's did a proper diagnosis where there was intermittent signal which caused the engine light to come on and the price to fix this was approx. $250 - $300. If you have an issue which needs to be diagnosed, Denny's is the place to go. Everyone at Denny's were great.

I've gone to Denny's throughout the years for several years and for work on 4 of my personal vehicles. I've also recommended Denny's to any & everyone I know that needed auto repairs. Even now living in TX for almost 5 years, I'm still recommending this establishment. Let me also add that there were 2 separate occasions where I could have been cheated but wasn't. For that I am grateful. We all know that a lot of mechanics aren't honest. With all that being stated, I have to give an average rating bc while I was home visiting in June 2020, I received work on my vehicle directly before hitting the road back to my new home state of TX. I paid appx $300 for those repairs only for it to not be done correctly. Upon arriving home in TX, I had to pay again to have the repairs done correctly. The mechanic showed me the sway bars on both wheels which neither bolt was put on properly. This was the $300 price tag that I paid Dennys to do. 😔

I had a chirp in my brakes. Took in the the vehicle to get fixed up. They had the opportunity to replace the parts and just charge me as is, but instead let me know there was still plenty of life in the parts. While they were doing the investigation, they noticed a couple other small issues that they fixed up free of charge to keep the car running smooth. If you’re looking for a honest car repair shop, this is the place to go.

Honest merchant. Sad but not easy to come by in this day and age, especially with auto repair shops. One of oldest and best shops around town. Always busy, so making appointments is highly recommended. Not the cheapest, but miles cheaper than dealerships and these guys will never rip you off or overcharge you for any service. I know that from personal experience. If you need your car to be serviced and don't want to second guess job quality without spending $$$, be sure to check these guys out first!

Have been going here for yrs. Extremely competent and skilled mechanics. Friendly, even cheerful service. More than once they have gone the extra mile. Have been referred for specialty wrk they weren't equipped to do. However, they can handle virtually any minor to major repair. Pricing not cheap, but fair & competitive. Have proved to be completely honest & reliable. This repair shop is a first rate operation. Family owned & operated. Highly recommend them.

The staff at Denny's Auto Diagnosis are professional and honest with the work they do. Tired of having a mechanic pull things out of their rear end to make you pay more? Come here. The transparency I experienced here is something to be proud of. Anything wrong was immediately fixed at very modest prices. Anything that could go wrong in the future was addressed immediately and I was given a good time frame on when I should get said work done. They say an honest mechanic goes out of business, but when you're reliable and trustworthy you don't. You can trust the staff here, you can take that to the bank guys and gals.

These people were VERY helpful. My usual shop was booked out and I needed to make an emergency alternator replacement. I’m always nervous about auto shops I haven’t been to, but this was recommended to me. The staff were polite and courteous, and they were able to get me in and out on the same day! I can’t recommend Denny’s enough. They helped me with an issue this summer and saved me over $1,000 compared to a dealership quote. Then this week, I had a genuinely scary experience with an oil leak and called Denny’s in a panic. Tim was incredibly kind and calm on the phone and helped me safely handle the situation before getting the car to the shop. After inspecting my vehicle, David called to explain the diagnosis and talk through my options. I really appreciated how clear and matter-of-fact he was—he explained everything without ever making me feel stupid, which I’ve unfortunately experienced at other shops. When I went in to pay, Tim also took the time to have an honest, straightforward conversation with me about purchasing a car, and I truly valued his candid feedback.
