I couldn’t be more impressed with Larry, his son, and the entire team at Desert Vintage Restoration. The paint on my 2017 Ford Raptor—particularly the hood, fenders, and front end—had started to fade badly in the Arizona sun. Larry came highly recommended by the Ford dealer, and now I see why. From start to finish, their service was exceptional. Larry gave me a great price, delivered top-tier workmanship, and went above and beyond by sourcing new parts and addressing other issues they discovered along the way. They also coordinated a full front-end wrap to protect the new paint from future sun damage—something I really appreciated. The results speak for themselves, and I’m already planning to bring in two of my classic vehicles for full restorations later this year. I recently brought my 2020 Mercedes GLE 350 to Mercedes for a routine oil change. They called me and gave me a list of things the car needed which was close to 10k in work. I called up Desert Vintage after a friend referred me to them. I spoke with Sam and he told me to send me the list of things Mercedes said the car needed. He then wrote up what it would cost to fix the car and it was literally half of what Mercedes wanted while still using all Mercedes parts. They then said to bring my car in and they will verify if any of that work was actually needed. I could not bring my car in due to work so they kindly offered to pick up and drop back off my car for me once they were done looking at it. I was amazed that they offered to do that since I live about 40 min away. Once they got the car they sent pictures to show me that almost all of the work Mercedes listed was not needed. They called me to tell me the only thing needed was rear brakes possibly at the next service. They were very honest and did not try to sell me anything that was not needed. They brought the car back the same day and I was shocked to find the car fully detailed inside and out free of charge, which was a nice bonus. I could not believe the level of customer service they offered. I highly recommend anyone local to Arizona to check them out!!

I was actually referred to these guys from a GIANT Ford Dealership in the Valley and they have NOT disappointed. It is a 200% family operation and they are 1st class, do great work and are straight shooters. The son - Sam - I have worked with on both occasions for my wife's 2020 Tahoe and he literally has saved me thousands...the least I could do is write this review! We had to have engine mounts replaced and then later in the summer, front struts and shocks in which Sam blew previous estimates out of the water. Don't let the word 'vintage' throw you off - they can do ANYTHING! Thanks Gents.

This is THE BEST body shop. My car is a special color Shelby GT350 that was only made for one year. It was rear ended and my insurance was an absolute nightmare. My insurance kept trying to force Desert Vintage to use cheap parts and to cut corners to fix it. However, Desert Vintage pushed back relentlessly to fix it the right way. They only fixed it with genuine OEM parts and they replaced damaged parts instead of patching them up like the insurance wanted. Plus, their body and paint work is phenomenal. It’s impossible to tell it was in an accident unless you looked at the Carfax. I trust them, I respect them, and I would come back to them every single time. Was looking for a shop that could mount & balance my new set of wheels & tires. I know I could have just gone to Discount Tires or Big O Tires but I ordered a pair of custom forged wheels and didn’t want to worry about the install. Was referred to the shop from a Reddit post, the shop was clean and nice Larry I believe the owner greeted me and Sam came out and just confirmed what work I wanted done. Process was smooth and quick & cheaper than the big tire shops. Also while waiting Sam was nice enough to give me a little tour of their shop. They dabble in everything, they are a full repair shop not just for vintage vehicles they have worked on some cool projects. Wheels look great Glad I found the shop & would gladly recommend them.
