I have had horrible luck with vehicles and never feel like I'm in good hands when I'm getting work done. In January my car started having several issues so I went to Google and started reading reviews of shops near me. I ultimately ended up bringing it to Josh and his team. The truck needed some very pricey work done. I felt as though Josh was honest and realistic about my options. I really like the system they use, they take before and after pictures of all the work they do with a summary, I've never seen this done before and it gave me peace of mind that I was not being taken advantage of. I did end up with a faulty part and the guys ordered me and new one and got me in there super fast to replace it. I have nothing but great things to say about Detroit Auto Clinic. I am now a loyal customer and would recommend them to anyone I care about!

My 2010 Impreza’s AC was giving wispy amounts of cool-ish air — not a good thing in the weather we’ve been having. The dealership — which charges both a hefty diagnostic fee and then an arm & several legs for repair — said no appointments were available ‘til Sept. Google search put Detroit Auto Clinic at the top of ‘car AC repair near me.’ And repair it is exactly what Josh & the crew did! Took the car in; got explanation of what was wrong; got to choose between ‘quick temporary fix’ and ‘full repair (new compressor),’ left the car; and got it back, with delightfully muscular AC all in under 4 hours! Flippin’ amazing! And I’m betting that the whole thing cost maybe 1/4-1/3 what the dealership would have charged. Great explanations. Great work. Fair prices. What more could you want, huh?

I can not speak highly enough of Josh. He treated me, a brand new customer, like I had been his customer for years. I recently moved to the area and brought my car to Josh with a massive oil leak. After some investigation, he found that my Previous repair shop had screwed up the full timing ensembly replacement (done just months before) so badly that it had destroyed my engine! He took pictures and videos and contacted the other shop for me. At first, That shop tried not to cover all the repairs but by the time Josh was done, they covered the full cost of the engine replacement. I can thank him enough for his efforts on my behalf and the extra time I know he spent talking to the other shop and convincing them. And all for a brand new customer! I'd give 6 starts If could.

I recently took a 2008 Toyota yaris to this shop over the course of a few months gotten a lot of work done to it. until this last time I had a control arm bolt break inside of my subframe and any shop would of told me to kick rocks because of the nature of the repair but he tried anyways and has made it so I can get by long enough to save for a new car and for that this shop deserves more than 5 stars.

Took my 2016 Toyota in for 100,000 service. After a thorough inspection they sent me a text message of things that needed servicing and a list of things that are recommended with the cost of each. The prices they quote are fair and reasonable, I checked the things I wanted done and they had the car ready later that day. I highly recommend Detroit Auto Clinic.

These guys were awesome, they diagnosed the problem and I was able to see the diagnosis and pictures of all issues via my phone, then I was able to pick which services I wanted to do right away by just checking a box (I chose all because I suck at maintenance!). Then I was able to pay through my phone. I did all of this while at my desk at work. I didn’t have to leave work to go to the shop to have them explain everything. It was so user friendly! Also, I felt there was no pressure to do any of the work because I wasn’t in front of a salesman, I could sit back and make a decision. This process alone will have me using these guys every time. But, the most important part is that my car runs perfect! It’s the best running 2018 Equinox in the state!! Thank you guys!!

Not sure if I can recommend this place. Took my vehicle there at the end of November, the week before I had to go out of state. My fiance picked it up when I had already left , so I didn't get a chance to look at it or drive it for a couple weeks. Spent $2500 in repairs. Supposedly fix the front end issues but that somehow made the bouncing worse. Used to have working wiper fluid before dropping it off, now I don't. When i discovered they weren't working my fiance suggested maybe they had to remove it to work on one of the things they worked on and forgot to refill it. Reservoir was full and when I opened hood the check, there was a big puddle of coolant that looked like it leaked from somewhere (that wasn't there prior to dropping it off to get fixed. So, I don't know if what they supposedly did for all my money made things better, or worse. Now my vehicle is undriveable. Will update my review when I get someone else to look at it that I know I can trust, so I can say whether or not the new issues that have started (or the issues that have gotten worse) since I've taken it here are just a coincidence or due to bad work.

They are an actual modern auto shop with their use of digital tools. I dropped the car off and they evaluate and send a link that shows all possible repairs to your phone with pictures and pricing. I was able to send the link to family that know repair prices better than me and was validated on pricing being reasonable, especially given inflation over the last 5 years. And then I could also pay through phone. It made the entire process super simple and easy. I also ignored my car maintenance for 4 years and they only said a single $150 repair was a must-repair and that all other suggestions didn't have to be done. So I think they are a very honest shop.

I just love this shop and the mechanics. Only place I go to. Always honest and reasonable prices. I thought I needed a heater coil and thank goodness he told me he recommended putting it on the machine to make sure that was what I needed. Saved me 1000. Absolutely recommend!!!
