I'm knew to the area and have been looking for a place to take my vehicle since I've been here. Bringing my vehicle to Diablo Auto Specialists has been the best experience I have had at an automotive facility. Jon at the Walnut Creek location was the nicest person to talk to. He listened to my concerns and got back to me as soon as they found out what was going on. Their inspection is the most detailed I've seen. Jon went over all issues or possible concerns and explained what maintenance was the most important to the least. I felt no pressure what so ever to complete any additional services and this is a great comfort and surprise because I use to work for auto shops and in my experience, this has never been the case. The prices are reasonable and they complete great work. All around, this has been the best experience I've had and I will definitely be returning in the future and recommend to aothers.

I came here for a maintenance for my Honda Civic and the entire experience was great! Smooth drop off overnight. Really efficient service. When it was done I got a notification outlining all the services that were done and results of their findings. I also received an electronic receipt so I can see the cost ahead of time. Price was very reasonable. Quality of their work was also great. I would come back again!

I’d been going to Diablo Auto Specialists the past couple years and had really good experiences when Jon was running things. We had 4 cars we took there and always had confidence in the work. Jon’s gone and I’m stunned with the change in service now. They don’t offer an online list out of items inspected including pictures showing what they’ve found, and recommendations for work needing to be done. They don’t text you with an estimate. They don’t call if you need something replaced; you find out only after you show up. The customer service is gone. But it’s worse than that. But what really shocked me up was opening up the hood of my car to add some washer fluid only to notice the air filter housing was still unclipped, which seemed negligent. But opening the housing I discovered the air filter was missing entirely! They serviced my car 5000 miles ago and my car didn’t have an air filter put in. I was just planning on taking it in for service but it won’t be with them now. I’m livid! I’m done with Diablo Auto Specialists, or Autoworx or whatever name change is going on there. I would never go back and would highly discourage anyone else from going there.

Walked in without calling or scheduling an appointment and was greeted by Ryan. I asked about something they don't normally do and Ryan was quick to research it, printed out the form I needed and was able to complete what I needed right away and get me going. When I first got Tillee (2003 Toyota 4Runner) I asked my buddy Jobe where I should take her for service. He was a mechanic but recommended I go to Diablo Automotive and he was correct: they were amazing. But, life can change in an instant and Diablo Automotive is suddenly gone. So, Diablo Auto Specialists have stepped in to pick up where things left off. New location and new owners but the same amazing service. And in a huge twist of irony, they are located in my buddy’s old building. I took our truck there for some potential warranty work last week and although it wasn’t clear if the parts were defective, the owner happily made the necessary repairs, which I fully appreciate. I usually do small repairs on my own but for anything that requires talent and experience, this is the new service home for Tillee. Five stars!!!

Absolutely deplorable service. Ian, the owner yelled at me over the phone when I asked him to explain why my car went into his shop with a small issue and left with a blow head gasket. They had my car for five days and not once called me to let me know what was wrong. I had to call them. I was told it needed a battery replacement only. I was then told an hour later that the head gasket was blown. There is zero possibility of this happening unless they caused the issue. Hayden Claire and Ian are terrible communicators and I would not trust these people with anything important to you.

Overall i loved going to Diablo specialist at Walnut Creek. I had my special guy John that was really the BEST! He took care of 3 of my cars always to the best extent. I also referred my two friends that were very happy working with John. I recently discovered that John stopped working with Diablo Specialist. I spent few thousand a year on my car and John always gave me the feeling i am special and that he appreciate our relationship(of course it was mutual) Now i feel that nobody really cared about me or about my relationship with the workshop. I did an examination and got charged so much that i was with tears in my eyes. After i had a previous examination on the same car that was still relevant from few months ago. I won’t go back there anymore that is certain. I will share that their technician force are really good and i love the work they did for me always (-and that is also my friends feedback as well) But for me its just too much.

The team at Diablo Auto Specialist were very thorough and complete when they diagnosed my 2016 4Runner. Even though I thought the vehicle was okay, they found some leaks in the control arms that had they not been diagnosed, could have been a much more costly event - if not a wheel lock and accident. I have been going to Diablo Auto Specialist for over eight years. There have been some changes in management, but the quality of work has been excellent. I just had my Subaru serviced today. The mechanic was attentive to details and saved me some money with good advice. The manager and front office person were both very friendly and helpful.
