This company needs to learn how to drive safely. Nearly missed taking out my fender when he cut in front of me on route 3.

They diagnosed potential cylinder issue, charged $700 to check compression. If they had admitted they did not have the computer program to read my engine, they would have sent me direct to the dealer. The dealer quickly diagnoses the issue as an injector. Problem solved.

Total rip off and waste of time. I dropped my truck of in June for some exhaust repairs. It took him 7 months to do anything. I gave him $800 agreed on deposit! In January, He removed the existing exhaust then put my truck outside again. 2 months later ii has enough. He said removing the exhaust coincidentally cost $800 1.5 hours of work. Don't waste your time or money.

Dave seems like a great guy, and he probably is when it comes to a lot of things, but the one thing he is not knowledgeable or great about at all is newer diesel trucks. I don't know about commercial vehicles, but your standard 250, 350 (powerstroke), 2500, or 3500 (cummins or duramax) he has a lot of trouble with, and not only that, this man is also a crook. He will give you a quote, make you wait 3 weeks to do the work, then when he gets the vehicle completed he will raise the price 2.5 times the quoted price, my quote was $600, then he said it was going to cost me $1,500 because he has never worked on these newer trucks and he ran into some issues that he couldn't figure out because it was so new. He settled for $1,000, still $400 more than my quote. Not only that, for something that was supposed to take 5-6hrs it took him 3 days to complete the work!!! When I left his shop my truck was running worse than it ever had. I stopped to give him a call, no answer, and his voice mailbox was currently full, so no messages either. I sent him a text, no reply. No warning lights were on in the truck so I drove it home. The next day, my turbo went out completely. So, I started doing some research on the work that was done on my truck and found through forums and diesel experts that what he had done would in fact make my truck run rough and maybe even break down... so for another $1,000 I was able to get another awesome shop in town to fix all of the problems he caused. So, now I am out $2,000 for something that should have cost $600. He never did answer his phone or texts, and eventually it just always went to a voicemail box that was full, so I am guessing he blocked my number? So, Whoever is reading this, you should believe all of these bad reviews on him and his shop. Do not go there for work on anything. He took me for a ride, I even went by his shop, walked the entire property for 30 minutes and could not find him anywhere. His helper/employee was there, but neither of us could find him. Beware of this place, it is a joke!!!

Okay this guy is a greaseball, he doesn’t care about you and only wants your money. Also to clarify he doesn’t work on diesel trucks that are personal trucks, he definitely works on fleet and company diesel truck but not daily drivers. He’s rude, lost a key to our truck (thankfully we have a backup) and on top of that we moved our truck from his lot because he told us he couldn’t do anything for about 3 weeks, when we got back into our truck im positive he took it on a long personal drive. Our radio was changed to a different station with the volume all the way up, a window was cracked and you could it wasn’t just “a test drive” For fleet company trucks go ahead but personal diesel’s, id avoid.

I have a 43 ft Diesel pusher with a Detroit 60 Series engine. I was turning around in my driveway and blew a power steering hose that went from the engine in the rear all the way to the steering box in the front. Dave Hill came out and replaced the lines for me on site, saving me a huge towing bill and a very reasonable charge for the labor to replace both the pressure and return lines. Since then I have used him to replace the transmission PTO and hydraulic pump for the radiator fan. All the work has been very professional and very reasonable on price. I would highly recommend him for any Diesel pusher RV engine, transmission or chassis repairs.

Had them rebuild an axel on my trailer. The repair lasted 3 weeks before I had to have it repaired again because they left something loose when putting it back together. Not to mention when I took the last parts they needed to the shop, the mechanic told me he had 6 hours in it. It took him 45 minutes to put the last few parts on and suddenly that 6 hours turned into 9.5 when I got my bill. So after paying them $1500, their work failed 3 weeks later. I would absolutely NOT recommend these guys to anyone.

I have taken my personal diesel truck to this repair shop for over ten years. I have always had a pleasant interactions with David every time I’ve come in for a service. The repairs have been done professionally and at the quoted cost . Honestly I don’t know how people have had a bad experience with this shop aside from coming in the door already angry at the world . I haven’t had to come back for the same thing twice in over ten years . I will continue to use this shop for all repair to my diesel truck that’s now creeping on 300k miles . Thanks David for having the integrity to be honest about repairs and associated cost professionalism to do the job right the first time . Nice to have a place you can trust to treat you right .
